BEWARE BRYAN YONISH AND GOOD HOMES STORE. If it were reasonable to just write the word " UNETHICAL" 500 times throughout this review, that is what we would say. Bryan's inexperience and pomposity floored us throughout the time in which we were considering buying his home. He was rude, demanding, uncooperative, dishonest, and extremely unethical. Here is just a partial list of his transgressions: 1. He lied to us about having had an inspection done on his property. When he eventually sent us an inspection report, it was dated April 2012--most of our encounter happened in June.2. Bryan lied about the work that was done on the roof. The inspection report clearly stated necessary repairs to the roof. Mr. Yonish claimed to have done them himself; however, when we had an estimate done by a licensed roofer, the estimate included all those same repairs and stated that there was no evidence they had ever been completed.3. He relied on friends' and relatives' opinions in place of estimates by licensed professionals. The same inspection report revealed that the sunroom--whose construction Mr. Yonish had undertaken himself--was in dire need of repair. Bryan told us that his brother-in-law or brother had looked at it and said it was "fine."4. Bryan insisted that our agent CC him on communications with us, which our agent--experienced and wise man that he is--adamantly declined to do.5. Mr. Yonish agreed to certain compromises within our contract: He would lower the purchase price of the home by $3,000.00 if we agreed to a seller possession after closing. However, after we completed, signed, and sent him all the pertinent paperwork, he reneged and only signed the portion that would benefit him, the seller possession after closing.6. Our original offer included a $500 due diligence fee; however, Bryan insisted that it be $1,000.00, which we later discovered he wanted so that he could put a down payment of that same amount on the house he wanted to purchase.7. Bryan harassed our lender--whom he should not even have been contacting--calling him five times over the course of three days to see whether our loan was going to be approved. There are certainly more. Please, please, please save yourself the month-long headache and avoid this guy. He has no idea what he is doing, and compounds that by being rude. He deserves to have his real estate license revoked.
Description of Work: Bryan Yonish represented his own home as agent in a transaction in which we were the buyers.
