FORREST TREE SERVICE

Excellent. This is the 3rd job that Forrest has done for me. Each time I was thoroughly impressed by his skill and efficiency. Forrest has always quoted a more than reasonable price on each of the jobs. On this job, I explained that I needed the tree work completed before the installation of a fence which was scheduled in the following week. Forrest rearranged his schedule to complete my tree job before my fence installation. Brought in his crew and bucket truck along with chipper and stump grinder. Completed the job in half day. Cleaned up all brush and tree limbs.

Forrest was excellent. We had several days of rain and when it cleared, he called to make sure I was ok with his trucks coming in the yard. Super professional! They took down the tree in one day, ground the stump all the way down and got some of the larger roots that were breaching the foundation. Everything was cleaned up and nothing harmed. Would definitely hire again!

Great. Had 3 estimates which ranged from $1200 to $500. Forest was the lowest estimate. I chose Forest because he was both the owner of the company and also assisted and supervised his crew with the job. Other providers sent out professional estimaters who were not directly involved with the job. Owners of these companies were not involved with the estimates or the work.

More than met expectations. Showed up at date and time scheduled. Very safety oriented. Took off limbs with no damage to surrounding plants, trees and adjacent storage building. Removed limbs and trunk down to 30' of trunk, then felled the trunk precisely with no damage to surroundings. Applied stump grinder to below 8" of ground surface. Removed 2 cubic yards of wood shavings, Filled crater with fill dirt and packed it down. Raked all gravel in parking area smooth and clean. Even transferred remainder of fill dirt to a raised garden I was constructing. Strongly customer oriented. Will definitely use again.

I called on Monday, they came out and gave an estimate on Tuesday, and the work was done on Thursday. Great experience! We got an estimate from another company for $1800 just to remove the tree/brush above the root ball. It was going to be extra to remove the rootball, and they told us they'd need a crane to do it, and it would probably increase the cost by at least $500. Forrest did all of it - including the fence repair and stump grinding - for $2000. And there were little, courteous things that really made a difference. When they realized that the stump grinding was throwing mud at the house, they held up a tarp. When they noticed that the crushed chainlink fence for the playground next door only needed a new steel bar, they fixed it at no additional cost. They left us firewood from the smaller branches and some stools from bigger branches to put around our fire pit. When fixing the fence, they offered to take some older, aged boards from a less visible part of the fence to do the repair, putting the new boards out of sight to age. Great guy, great team, top-notch service.

I called three consecutive days in a row and got an answering machine each time. In each instance I clearly and slowly left my name, phone number, why I was calling and asked to contacted for an estimate. It has now been six days since I left my 3rd and final message (10/6/16). I never received any reply what-so-ever. I chose to call Forrest Tree Service due to all the positive reviews on Angie's List, however with the total lack of response that I have experienced I'm at a loss to understand how he got those good reviews.

They did everything extremely well. The price was good, the crew was absolutely top drawer, friendly, courteous, careful, and Forrest as always was punctual and reliable and explained everything completely. I couldn't recommend them more highly!

They did an excellent job! I had reviewed earlier that they were not responsive to calls. Forrest was very apologetic and said he had been swamped with worked. The whole crew was pleasant, respectful of yard, and very nice. They did what we asked for and cleaned up after they were done. The only way you would know they had been here is that our trees look great!

Forrest is the real deal. I've been working with him for almost 2 years. Had to wait for perfect conditions for him to get equipment into yard without damaging the lawn. Two days of very cold weather provided the opportunity. It was worth the wait. He arrived with his fleet of trucks and crew and got it done! We walked the work prior to getting started to ensure we understood what was to be done. And then they went to work. Well organized work crew supervised by Forrest accomplishing multiple tasks at one time. Forrest in the bucket trimming the pecans with a ground crew and another 2-man crew dropping the pines. Very efficient. Jobsite completely cleaned before he left. We are very happy with the performed and

He's outstanding. I've used him before. Everything's good about him. It was great. It's an A+.

I have used Forrest several times over the years. Most recently, before last week, in 2011, I had a huge oak (30 foot in circumference) in my front yard that had been damaged by lightning that needed to be taken down and ground. I had five estimates for this job and Forrest was several hundred dollars lower than the next to lowest bid. I don't even bother now getting estimates regarding tree service because Forrest has always been the lowest (without ever asking what the other bids were) and Forrest just does a good job. I am going to have him come over and take down 2 more oaks this fall that are unhealthy and have a lean toward a Duke Energy guy wire. Duke won't come out until after they have fallen, which is just matter of time before they do. Anyway, if you need some tree service, by all means get some estimates from others. I personally would consider it a waste of time.

This went very well. This representative and his workers were very efficient and satisfactory. I would recommend them.

It took a while to get the calendars to work. The crew came by 9:30am and left by 3pm, cleaned up and did a great job. Forrest is very good to work with and his crew is well organized. I have had several tree service providers over the years and I really like Forrest Tree service.

Forrest came by himself and cleared enough debris so that I could use my drive. After the area had sufficiently dried, he returned with his crew and equipment and removed all debris, leaving the site clean and neat. This could not have been done better.

Forrest and his crew worked around a power pole that my neighbor and I share. His crew cleaned up everything. Very satisfied. For the people that gave him lower marks for his scheduling, I'd ignore them. Weather, people's schedule change are both reasons he cannot get into lots or yards sometimes. He did my job when he said he would. He crew was fast also. Can't say enough about how well he did. Overall, I'd hire him with no reservations. Great crew.

Forrest Tree Service came out quickly when I called to provide a price for the job. The only negative was he did not come back to do the job as soon as he said and I had to call and remind him of the job. We were waiting to build an outbuilding. They got the trees down and limbs down just as I asked. Forrest said he would send me a bill but he actually forgot. I had to call and remind him I owed him money and get his address.
