FORREST TREE SERVICE

It was hard scheduling because I am out of town a lot on business and we've had so much rain lately that often the area to be worked in was too swampy to remove the tree without tearing up the lawn. Forrest tree service worked with me looking for windows when all factors were aligned, including me being in town, and performed the cleanest possible removal that they could considering the (still mushy) state of the yard around the tree. I was impressed with his friendliness, the quality and safety of the removal by rather large and heavy equipment they considerately operated from the driveway, and although fly-by-nighters quoted less, this tall tree was right near the house and deck and I was happy with his price bonded and insured. His already good references on this list was the reason I chose his quote over the others.

They did a fine job. I had a large pear tree and a large broken pine tree that had to be removed. They removed it without damaging the land. It took a little while for them to get out here but they came out and did it. I was satisfied with their work.

From start to finish, this was an A+ experience.

Forrest Tree Service came out on a Saturday because of weather delays to get the work done within the promised time frame. The crew was professional and cleaned up after the work was complete. This is the second time we have used Forrest and would reccommend them to everyone.

We have had a very good experience with him. He charged $100 to take down a tree. I didn’t have him haul away the wood. He doesn’t do the hauling himself. He works with somebody else. He did a fine job.

What a great group of guys! The worked quickly, efficiently, and neatly. Forrest is wonderful to work with and his workers are great-very friendly. I liked them so much, I plan to have them return to do more work in my heavily treed and forested yard.

I called for an estimate and Forrest Steele (owner-manager) called me back within a day and came within two days and gave me an estimate. We agreed on a price. Within two weeks, Forrest and his crew of three men came on time with all necessary equipment and completed the work without a hitch. They cut down the three trees, chipped the limbs, and hauled away the pieces of the trunk. They cleaned up very nicely after they finished cutting down the trees and made it look like "nothing ever happened". Forrest is a hands-on owner-manager. He and his crew are very responsible, professional and polite. They completed all the work on time and avoided doing any damage to the garden area around two of the pines. They have gone on our list of service companies that we can count on in the future.

We had a dead tree near the house and called Forrest Tree Service. He was prompt coming to give an estimate, responded quickly when I called to have the work done, and they were on time and performed the job safely, professionally, and neatly on the scheduled day. I would use them again any time.

They responded to my inquiry promptly, showed up to do the work when promised, and completed the work to my satisfaction.

They were prompt, professional and had good customer service skills. Their pricing was reasonable as well. The quality of their work was good and I was satisfied with their service.

I had some dead and dying trees on my property and a tree had fallen recently narrowly missing my house. I called Forrest Tree Service and Forrest (the owner) came on time to walk through my property. We identified a number of trees that were dangerous and agreed on a price and date for service. Forrest and his crew came by right on time took down all the dead and dying trees and fed it right into the chipper they brought with them. When is crew were here they identified a few more smaller trees that looked dangerous and (with my permission) took those out too. Then they trimmed up a tree overlooking my drive way (at my request) and removed some bushes (which I had just remembered had to go). Then they trimmed my yard and cleaned up my drive way. All for the same bid price. Absolutely fantastic service. I've already recommended them to a few of my neighbors.

Forrest Tree Service provided one of the most satisfactory experiences I have ever had with a contractor. The price was unbelievably reasonable, the work done on time, with a great attitude. One of the limbs partially broke an azalea bush; and although I did not ask for it to be replaced, they volunteered and scoured the county until they found a perfect match for a 35 year old plant! Staggering.

Mr Steele returned my call and came out to give estimate on the same day that I called. He was polite and easy to deal with. They did the work within a week. They showed up on time. The work was done quickly and precisely, as planned. The crew was professional and friendly. I plan to use them again in the near future.

Forrest and his crew were fantastic. He was very prompt returning my call, coming out to estimate the work, and scheduling the actual job. Very professional and would not hesitate to use again.

Went well. I wasn't there when he arrived, but when I went back it was gone. He'd been pretty busy the few days prior, but made time to stop by after leaving another job. At first, the cost startled me but after realizing the equipment necessary to remove it and dispose of it, I understood.

They had good reviews on Angie's List. This company was responsive and gave us a good price. He was busy and it took him a while to get back to me. He showed up and did a good job. He removed the dead tree debris and left the ground up stumps.

They are proper and honest. Their prices are very fair. He came when he said.

Returned my call, came promptly and gave me an estimate, scheduled the work and did it as promised. Very professional and friendly.

Could not get a call back so did not use this service.

I had already gotten a bid from another company to take down the tree. The other company never called back when we told them to do the job. Out of frustration, I then joined Angie's List and found Mr. Steele's company which was highly rated by others. Mr Steele was very polite and professional. He always got back to me within a day or two of leaving a message. He came by and gave us an estimate that was $100 less than the bid from the other company and said that he could do it in a few days. Since we were about the go on vacation, we waited until we returned and arranged for a day for the job. Mr. Steele was on time, did the job quickly and cleanly. In fact, you can't even tell that there had been a tree there. I am very impressed and would highly recommend Forrest Tree Service.

He gave me a free estimate and then did a good job. They cleaned everything up and my yard looks good. I will definitely use this company again and I would recommend them to others. The crew is very reliable.

Forrest responded quickly with a written estimate that was slightly below others I received. He scheduled the work, preformed it on schedule and cleared all limbs and shavings from the site. The job was complicated by the fact that electric power, phone and cable lines needed to be disconnected from my neighbor's house. Forrest arranged to have the power, phone and cable lines disconnected and made sure they were reconnected before leaving the job site. I could not be more pleased with the work performed.

It went very well. He did a good job. I would highly recommend him. He is honest and reliable. He keeps his customers happy and is prompt with getting the work done.

Forrest and his crew of 3 arrived around 9:30am with chain saws, a wood chipper, a stump grinder and a Bobcat in tow. They cleared out about a dozen or so small trees and a few larger ones. They then ground the stumps with the grinder and scraped up all the brush and vines, etc with the Bobcat. Forrest also flattened out the ground where a couple of large trees had uprooted. All tolled ,they spent a good 6 hours in the yard. Everything went into the chipper and was hauled away.
