Description of Work: Sold us wall to wall carpeting for 3 bedrooms and hall. GOOD QUALITY CARPETING AND AS WELL WORKMANSHIP IN LAYING THE CARPET. THEY DID IT ALL IN ONE DAY, MOVED ALL THE LARGE FURNITURE, AND WERE PLEASANT AND PROFESSIONAL. |My only issue was that it is a small operation and had a limited number of choice of carpet. I could not find what I had had before (LARGE WEAVE BURBER), but several other places also told me it wasn't made any longer. I went with the smaller weave burber an am quite pleased with it.

+ -1 moreThe team did all that they promised. They were punctual and worked very long hours. The actual job took a couple of days longer than the salesperson originally proposed. Overall the team did great work with a high degree of professionalism.
Description of Work: Lower level floors were stripped and refinished. The family room carpet was removed and hardwoods were installed.The team removed all the furniture as well as appliances and stored in a padlocked trailer and my garage. Upon completion, they returned all furniture properly.they checked in with us roughly a week later to touch up the floor and to ensure that we were satisfied.

+ 0 moreThe representative from Flooring by Design was very pleasant. My only complaint really is that I still haven't seen the quote. So I am going with someone else. Still very pleasant. Had she actually given me a piece of paper with the actual quote I would have gone with them. I would not take a quote from her in the future.
Description of Work: I got an in home estimate from Flooring by Design. She wrote the estimate down on a piece of paper. It is not an official quote and I have not received the official quote yet. It was for laying carpet in the master bedroom.

+ -1 moreThe young man that came to our house was extremly polite and professional. He answered all our questions & addressed our concerns. He was one of 3 bids. As soon as he left our house we were 99% sure this was who we would hire even though we had one more bid to get. Then the bids came in & his bid for a tile floor in a small bath was $1800. I called & questioned this, he advised this was an error & the correct price was $1178. Then the other bids came in & he was hundreds if dollars off. I called him again & this time he came down to $700. I don't know what the issue was because his bid for the hardwood floor was in line with everyone else. That being said, we went with another company that did the bath for $500. I think we would hire this young man but do have a few reservations regarding the high bid.

Description of Work: Chris and his team fixed the issues of crowned joists and was able to level the floors to install the laminate flooring. His team was very professional and courteous. They came in and finished the job, cleaned up and moved furniture back into place. Great job
