 + -1 moreDJS recently obtained the contract for my townhouse community. They are doing the bare minimum. In a month's time the natural areas are overrun with weeds. The monkey grass in front of my home is so high it's a snake habitat. Communication appears to be a huge issue. Our property manager is communicating with the owner of DJS. These communications don't appear to make it down to the workers. When I have contacted DJS directly, they rudely let me know that I shouldn't be contacting them directly. You would think a business would want to know of the poor quality of the product they are delivering???

 + -1 moreThe crew takes excellent care both of the landscaped front yard and the "natural" back yard. They are careful & efficient. They make excellent decisions about when to prune & when to trim the weeds in the natural areas. They always clean up the driveway, walks & my deck.
Description of Work: DJS has been taking care of my landscaping for 4 months. They come weekly to mow & trim and prune shrubs as needed. Periodically per their schedule they apply fertilizer, mulch, and reseed.

Description of Work: Full service, aerating, seeding, and follow on chemical treatments. Lawn looked great until June. Most every thing died then. They would not come back to discuss what went wrong or what actions needed to be taken to improve the situation. Had they followed up like they indicated they would, we MIGHT have considered using them again.

Their Operations Mgr returned my call promptly and came to see the property the next day. Not only did he provide suggestions regarding how to improve the quality of the grass and the attractiveness of the flower beds, he also made several great recommendations about improving the curb appeal of my house with a colorful garden flag and some artwork near the front door. His ideas were spot on, and I appreciated receiving his excellent advice. I really felt that he went the extra mile, which is a rare and special bonus.
Description of Work: Maintained lawn and flower beds for my townhouse.

 + -1 moreWe have been using them for about 25 years and they are great. Their last service was okay. It was not as good enough at that time because there was not so much to do. They charge $75 for a regular visit and they are very hardworking.

 + 1 moreThey were okay. They were responsive in providing a quote but that's about it. For the service they provided, I thought it was a reasonable quote. I'm thinking if we're going to proceed with this, we're going to be using them.
