Description of Work: DAC recovered some awnings we had put up by them more than 15 years ago. They did what they said they would when they said they would. The awnings look great. I was surprised at home much it cost -- just $300 less than when we had them put up, but it was a lot of work and they do look great.

Description of Work: Receptionist answering phones very non-descript and almost seemed bothered each time company contacted. Sales person good. Slow at returning calls or doesn't return calls after messages left on voice mail. Have had to call three times and still no return call. Workers very professional, prompt, efficient, friendly on both take down of old awning and installation of new awning..New awning sewn and completed in two weeks rather than 4-6. Had to scramble to find painters to paint outside patio area covered by awning. Gonzalez Painting used. A+++!!! Previous awning (Sunbrella material) lasted over 12 years. Fantastic life, excellent quality. New awning (Sunbrella material / gortex stitching) is supposed to last even longer, but after being up only six weeks, a large corner portion is spotting which looks like water marks. Material is supposed to be protected with water protectors.. Upon install, workers informed about two end corners of new awning appearing crooked / not sewn evenly and creased, Workers assured the crease would fall out in a week or two which hasn't happened and water marks appear darker. Run off staining is happening also. As of June 6, 2011, after three voice mail messages to sales person -- no response. Will update review as necessary. 14JUN11: Update Happy to report all concerns have been met and awning looks great. Installers fixed creasing, crooked sewing problems which were our major concerns.. Sales person out today to look at water spotting on one corner of awning. Will get back to us with solution. Very pleased now and will certainly recommend and use again on future commercial and residential projects.
