A no show

The work turned out great. The cleaning is due to be done again. The guy told me to do it about 3 years after they serviced at that time. I also had some other problems that he fixed. The triggering mechanism of my pump was not working and he replaced it. I was pleased with him and the service. He was very professional and I was confident that he was charging me correctly. He did what he said he would do.

Pumping and check of septic pump went very well. We had just bought the house in February and as part of the sale of a house the tank was supposed to have been pumped. Whomever pumped it did not clean it thoroughly. Jeffery had to back flush into the tank three times to get a majority of the built up debris in the tank. He did an excellent job and answered all my questions about the septic pump up to the leak field and other questions I had. He will be getting our business again in three years when the tank needs pumping again.

I called, was given a time range and an estimate range. The work was done on time, and at the lower end of the estimate range. The mess was cleaned up, the hole filled. The job was complete and done well. I have used these folks before and been very pleased. I will continue to be a loyal customer of this reliable service.

Excellent! Jeff was very punctual, informative, pleasant, and professional. He answered many questions about how the system was set up, laid out, and maintained.

They stuck to the price they quoted. They arrived a little late but they called. The guys were very nice and respectful about not tearing up the yard. They were very pleasant people. If I need any septic service I will call them.

The part of the pipe that was bypassed had tree roots growing in it. The tree is to big to move with out killing the tree so they came up with the idea that they could go around it. By doing this, they not only saved the tree, but our garage. I think that they did a great job, keeping cost and time in mind.

Overall, no problems or complaints--just a good, professional job.

I tried twice on 2 different days to contact this company. I got an answering service and left a message requesting a call back regarding having may septic tank pumped out. I never received a return call at all and I ended up calling another service who performed the needed work promptly AND a real person answered their telephone.

I actually chose this company based on what I read here on Angie's list. So mine is not truly an 'independent' review. Anyway, Jeff Dixon lived up to what I read here. Originally he was going to come on a Friday (the same day I called), and told me he would leave a bill, no questions asked. But he later called and said he would have to reschedule for Monday. This allowed me to be there to meet him. He was prompt, courteous, and was finished in a relatively short time. He then took the time to explain how my field was likely laid out, given my terrain, and we talked about the possibility that a tree that had suddenly died could have been affected by too much drainage into the field (likely not). All in all, no reason to be unsatisfied. This was my first ever septic tank pump, so I have no way to judge the cost. I have no reason to think it is out of line, so I rated cost A, without really knowing.

When Jeff had to reschedule from Mon. to Tues., I couldn't be at home when he came, so he trusted me to send him a check. In a later phone call to him he gave me some valuable information to use when we build our new home. Jeff was very polite and professional on the phone. Wish I could have met him. Maybe at the next pumping!!

I've had the septic pumped one other time (I've only been in the home 5 1/2 years) by another company, but apparently they didn't pump the solids tank because they would have had to dig five feet to unearth the lid. The lid that is easily accessed (i.e. not buried) is the liquid side (not the important one for pumping!). Jeff dug up the lid and pumped my very full solid waste tank. When I asked Jeff about modifying this badly laid out system, he said 'I'd just let them dig the lid up.' Sadly for him, he shot himself in the foot, so to speak, because he'll be digging up my lid up until he ain't pumping no more!
