+ -1 moreWe are very satisfied with purchase of windows for whole house and sliding glass door, from beginning to finished job everyone was courteous and making sure we got exactly what we wanted. The installers showed the process of installing ( amazing), would recommend Champion Windows for anyone wanting a professional job and high quality products.
Description of Work: Windows were old, not insulated well, sliding door track was damaged and condensation with cold weather was horrible.

+ 1 moreWe purchased several windows and a door last April. The company had us resign contracts and we had a separate contract for the door we purchased. I only agreed to do this and spend 4,000 on a door because we got a discount on the windows by purchasing the door. After several months of waiting we inquired about the status of the windows and discovered our order had been canceled because they could no longer honor the price we were quoted. Due to he companies negligence and our lack of trust in them we decided to cancel the order for the door. We were told we wouldn’t get our 1,100 deposit back. Customer service has been extremely poor with this company.

+ -1 moreFrom the beginning, the service was top-notch. I got a great explanation of their options, quality, and timeline, and although their windows weren't the cheapest, they went out of their way to make sure I got a decent price. They maintained the timeline originally described, despite COVID, and were extremely prompt, professional, efficient, and friendly the day of. They even removed old lumber from my patio that I wanted to get rid of. I was very happy with Champion and would gladly recommend to others.

+ -1 moreNeeded windows put in on our screened in porch. The initial person came out and gave us a quote, measured and completed the contract with us. A second person came out to confirm the measurements several days later. Then a few days after that, after a contract was in place and promises had been made to do the work, a sales manager called to cancel the order because he didn't like the quote the original man had given us (that we had signed a contract on). Very disappointing and incredibly unprofessional. As a project manager, I know that if my company makes a bad quote/estimate, we still should honor it and deal with the individual that made it within our company and eat the overage. You cannot just decide that you don't want to do it after 2 meetings (that I had to set time aside for) and a signed contract. There was a small line in the fine print of their contract saying they could cancel the contract prior to work being performed for any reason - and that prevented me from being able to pursue anything further with them, however, i do not want anyone else to fall victim to their bait and switch. The sales manager told me the only way they could do the work would be if we were to pay nearly double the original agreed upon amount. He then emailed me the contract with that line highlighted just to prove a point after I called him on his company's unprofessionalism. I feel like they should have honored their word and followed through with their promises. Do NOT fall into this trap. The technicians that came to the house were very friendly and nice, however they were overruled by their sales manager and we wound up without a project in place. Very disappointed!

+ -1 moreExcellent. No complaints. I can't remember the exact pricing, but it was not unreasonable. I don't think they were outrageous, and I think they did a fine job. They were here when they said they would be here. We were very pleased. They did everything well. They came in; they worked quickly efficiently, knew what they were doing, cleaned up after themselves. We were very pleased. They did it in the period of time, I can't remember how long they said it would take, just a couple of days, and they did it quickly and we have had no problems since. I would never hesitate to use them again.

+ -1 moreThey came to my house to do an estimate. They came out to get the contract initially and then they did the roof. We paid enormous money for the roof. After the fist rain, almost my whole ceiling in the den came through, water and chunks of the den. The guy who did the work was not longer with them. They fixed it, it was a hassle for me It was not good work at all, they were cooperative, had a listening ear and came out and assessed. They have a select few that do a good job. The price was very expensive. They made a great effort to fix everything make it right. One time it was hard to get a hold of them and I had to leave messages. It was not a great experience, for the price I paid it should have been done right in the first time.
Description of Work: I used Champion Windows and Home Exteriors of Raleigh to do my roof, there was bad damage in my living roof.

+ -1 moreWe told Tony as he was measuring the windows that we had looked at the website and liked the $250 promotion. When he gave us the quote, I was surprised that he only gave us one $250 promotion off on 9 "Champion Premium High Performance Vinyl Windows" when I thought it was $250 off each window. I was right. When he left, I checked the website and emailed him with this information. One week later, his boss Blake called me to say that the quote he gave us was for "Founders Series" windows and not the ones that were $250 off. That's not true. Tony never mentioned giving us anything other than the ones listed on the website, the window he showed us was the one listed on the website, and he gave us the promotion -- just for one window instead of 9. PLEASE USE CAUTION WORKING WITH THIS COMPANY. We, of course, are hiring a different company in whom we have confidence.

+ -1 moreIt went well except for in phase 2 the windows were slow to arrive due to an issue with warehouse ownership change over or something like that. I was never contacted about the delay and I was irritated about how long I had to wait and there was no communication. As soon as the windows did come in they immediately got them installed

This was not what I was told when the appointment was scheduled and on the last call, the sales representative initially called to change the time again. When that time did not work is when they mentioned needing the seller present.

+ 3 moreThe team of Shawn and Greg were fabulous to work with . They were efficient, cleaned their workspace, and very knowledgeable. I would recommend Champion to anyone who needs their services. We also had them install windows many years ago and still love them. The management was very helpful and patient, since this was an insurance claim job.

I called the office number at 6:08 and left a message. It was not returned. That was our first and last experience with this company.

I could have got it cheaper but I just wanted it on. I just needed to do it. It was very good quality. It had good fit. There was no problem with the door. Everything was working fine. He was excellent. I would call him again.

+ -1 moreIt was bad way over priced they have so many setups they wanna show you like the like gimmick the windows and how theirs are much better than all the rest. how the siding is superior in many different ways. Wasted his and my time. Says its all about quality thats why they charge more if they were confident they would have to explain and do "shows" about the product.
Description of Work: Champion was the second to come out. He was over an hour late, which actually turned out to be terrible since he stayed so long. He glanced at one window and said he was ready with a price. (It was more than an hour later before he would actually tell me a price.) I kinda felt sorry for the guy or I would have kicked him out a lot earlier. He spent several minutes trying to convince me that I needed new windows, even though I told him up front that I was gathering estimates and was planning to do the work. He spent the rest of the time telling me dozens of different ways that Champion was far superior to everyone else. He showed me a cheap window and claimed that was the window all the "other guys" use. Basically, the whole process was insulting. I tried to hurry him along several times, but he kept stalling and dragging it out. When we finally arrived at the price, he quoted $7800 for 9 windows (he combined a double window into one to save me money) and told me that I was lucky that there was a 30% discount reflected in that price, i also had over 2500 in savings coupons. I informed him that he was twice as high as my next bid and he started his spiel about the quality of his company over all the others. His techniques were so transparent - he tried to wear me down with too much information, he lumped all the "other guys" together for comparison (though he really was only describing the worst-case scenario), he kept asking leading questions (you do want the better one, right?), and he even brought out a lamp and some samples and a meter that supposedly measured everything great about his windows and exposed everything terrible about everyone else's. I finally put an end to it when he started the if-you-sign-today part of his presentation. Needless to say, I will be going with another company to install my windows. Also price for siding, gutters, and gutter guards. It also included a combo discount.
