We had nine tall trees dead branches and understory trimmed and removed plus one tall pine tree cut down. All work was done professionally and cleanly. We were very pleased.

Excellent team and work! We had 9 trees and they completed the task in less than 6 hours, they didn’t stop until it was done! Well organized team and great customer service from the whole crew! The equipment used was impressive, top of the line. And they cleaned everything including leaves/branches from my and my neighbor’s roofs. Considering the amount of work and their efficiency, the cost was very reasonable. Our neighbors were very impressed, they asked for the company’s contact info. I highly recommend them and plan to use their services in the future!

After attempting to get quotes through Angie’s List from various companies that prune and remove trees, BroadLeaf Tree & Shrub was one of only a few that even bothered to get back with me; apparently, pruning trees right now is not the highest priority for many tree companies. I needed to hire a company to prune back a tree that was giving squirrels access to my roof, and thus, to my attic. That said, BroadLeaf did not give me the least expensive, nor the most expensive, quote; however, they did give me the most "bang for the buck" quote, focusing the work on the Oak tree that needed it. (Another tree company wanted to remove only a couple of limbs from the Oak, and then do some work on a Maple tree in my front yard which was not a real issue at this time - basically, an easier job for them.) When I met with Blake Mills on November 23, 2020, he was genuinely nice and professional, and was willing to answer all my questions; he provided his expert opinion on what needed to be done, which was in line with some of the more expensive quotes. He also recommended one limb of the tree be removed to prevent squirrels from getting onto my neighbor's roof; I actually expected this advice, but a couple of company reps did not give it, either because they were afraid of sounding too pushy or wanted a second job – along with another minimum fee. What really made BroadLeaf stand out was once Blake knew that I needed to move quickly on this project, as I will be replacing my roof immediately after this job, he was able to get me onto their job schedule today, December 10! (Most companies were not willing to schedule anything before January or February, 2021.) The crew that came out was on time, if not a bit early; I give kudos to any company that is on time! They removed the limbs originally indicated on the quote, but then also removed a couple of other branches that they thought would have allowed the squirrels to get onto either my roof or my neighbor's roof; this additional work was done without charging extra! They disposed all the tree limbs and debris, leaving the job site cleaner than when they arrived (yes, it is that time of year with a lot of Oak leaves on the ground). In the few hours since the work has been completed, and me writing this review, I have already given a verbal recommendation for BroadLeaf Tree & Shrub. As you can guess, I highly recommend them; I would use them again in the future if needed.

Very good. They were on time. They had me move my car as a precaution. They moved a swing set to make sure it wasn’t damaged. They all had on proper PPE. They worked safely. No shortcuts were taken. Will call them again if I have more work needed.

Broadleaf did a great job. The price was less than I expected, completed in good time, and with consideration for my neighbors (minimal noise and thorough clean-up). The stump grinding was sub-contracted by Broadleaf to a specialist, who appears to have done a good job. I will definitely use them again, but in winter, before the birds have built their nests. They hate pruning, but they come back.

Blake is a very honest and professional business person. He provided an assessment of the trees surrounding the area for a storage shed. He told us exactly which trees needed to be removed thus saving us money from removing unnecessary trees. He and his team arrived a little ahead of schedule, ranged our doorbell on schedule and did an excellent job. As expected, the removal of the logs and stump grinding were not done on the same day but ahead off the timeline provided for job completion. We are absolutely pleased with his work and would highly recommend Broadleaf Tree & Shrub!!!

They arrived on time, and started working immediately. The job was done by 3 men who worked quickly and efficiently. They took care not to damage our plants during the work. They also made sure they were well protected, by using good safety equipment ( helmets, ropes, blue tooth ear phones). After the tree was removed, which took 3 hours, they took away the big logs, and branches were shredded in a chipper. Finally, they cleaned up the whole area well. We will definitely request their services again, whenever we need another tree removal.

Broadleaf Tree and Shrub was excellent to work with. They are great at communicating, show up when they say they will and do what they say they will do. The work they completed was just what we needed and what I talked to Blake about. After they cut down the limbs and shaped up our trees, they cleaned up the entire area. My back deck was cleaner that it's ever been. ;) We really enjoyed working with them and will do so again in the future.

I had a great experience with Broadleaf Tree and Shrub. Blake arrived when he said he would, walked around my property with me, and discussed the various tree needs. He gave me an estimate on the spot, then followed up with a more detailed estimate via email. He was knowledgeable and professional. Blake and his crew showed up at the arranged day and time, took care of everything on the estimate, and cleaned up all debris. When the job was finished, Blake walked around my property with me again to review the work that had been done. I plan to have Broadleaf Tree and Shrub come out again to take care of further tree needs in the winter.
