+ -1 moreMr. Barnes first came over to look at the roof when my husband and I were at work. Later I spoke to him on the phone so he could tell me what the roof needed. He was very straightforward with his recommendations and advice. (I had previously spoken with other roofers but did not find them to be as forthcoming and trustworthy as Mr. Barnes!). I called again a few weeks later to request that Mr. Barnes come out and meet with us, so he could better explain (and actually show us) what needed to be done. He didn't mind doing this at all. He's really nice in person and I immediately trusted him. We agreed to have him do the work. Mrs. Barnes drew up a contract describing the job in detail, which we signed. We paid him $400 in advance so he could purchase the supplies. The work was extensive, but they finished in just 2 days. We then gave him a check for the other $800 the day he finished. (Note: Mrs. Barnes talks to the customers on phone, schedules the work and handles all the billing).
Description of Work: Mr. Barnes and his sons replaced the fascia boards under our gutters and replaced/added new shingles to the entire back of the house to correct a major problem with our roof that was causing water damage.

+ -1 moreTHEY STAYED WITHIN THE CONTRACT QUOTE. I THINK THEY WERE REASONABLY PRICED. THEY ARE EXCELLENT IN TERMS OF KEEPING THEIR SCHEDULE. THEY DID A WONDERFUL JOB OF CLEANING THE YARD WHEN THEY WERE FINISHED.
Description of Work: THEY REMOVED AND DISPOSED OF THE SHINGLES AND REPLACED THEM WITH NEW ONES ON OUR HOME.
