They charged me double for what I was told. They had to buy some extra materials but I didn't think it was that much material. I felt like he overcharged me. I would use him again, but based on thinking I was getting a great deal thru Angie's List. If I had went thru Angie's list I would have been better off, and which is what I wanted to do, but he didn't want me to do it that way so that bothered me. My husband and I both offered to go to Lowe's to buy the materials but he didn't want us to. We ended up paying 2 people for the time to go purchase the materials for whatever they charge per hour.

Great, see the pictures. You can see a little outline on the ceiling but honestly no one can tell the closet used to be there and the space is now use-able and inviting

I love my new garage for my tools and my motorcycle. And my neighbors are always complementing it.

The result is fantastic, we love our laundry room/mudroom and it looks great inside and out.

I paid for 2 workers for 8 hours, They tried to leave work incomplete after 3 hours. I showed my AL receipt to them. The rest of the day only one worked and the second looked. They patched every thing instead of repaired eveything, They broke several siding pieces that were not broken and left trash in my back yard.

We bought a deal for 4 hours of labor. Alexis contacted us soon after we bought it, and set up a time via email and text message. He was punctual and did everything we needed done with an hour to spare. He also took a look at a few other larger projects and gave us an estimate. Very professional, will definitely call him when we have future projects.

I would definitely use this company again! I am very pleased with the finished product, it looked better than I could have imagined. They corrected the prior issues which was not an easy task and added new panels. We also have lots of red clay but the guys were surprisingly efficient. Alexis called prior to the job to schedule and review our needs. He let us know what time the guys would arrive and called again the morning of as a reminder. They were prompt and arrived on time. The guys were professional, provided updates on progress/time, and cleaned up afterwards. They were not wasteful and noted leftover materials which could be returned to the hardware store. I would recommend them to anyone for both exterior and interior work.

Couldn't be happier with Alexis and Luis. They are professional and highly skilled contractors. I'm already putting together another list of jobs to hire them again. I highly recommend them!!

Alexis did a great job - he was on time, did a great job cleaning up and explaining anything we needed to know. All of the jobs we needed done came out great. He cleaned everything up and is just overall a very nice guy. We will absolutely call him again next time we need something fixed.

I purchased services for (2) 8 hour days for repairs or remodeling for $480.00 from B & D Remodeling. Alexis sent several messages via Angie list requesting that I call him. When I called we discussed my deck project: removing and replacing parts of my deck. He was somewhat hesitate when I told him what I needed so I asked him if he did remodeling and he replied "yes" and he would get to me in a couple of weeks. He asked me to call him again via Angie list. When I called no answer and he returned my call about 9 hours later stating he would send someone out on Saturday. On Saturday morning at 8am (11/28/2015) Luis(who was very nice) came to see what I needed and said he would have to contact Alexis to let him know what I wanted. He wasn't able to reach him by phone and wasn't sure what to do because he was just a laborer. He decided to remove the existing deck until he was able to contact Alexis. Alexis call back after 2 hours and said he would be over. When he got to my house, he said he needed a permit, then the cost to complete my deck would be $3600.00 without materials and it would take a week to complete the job. The area was less than 200 square ft. I refused to pay that amount so he charged me $60.00 for what should have been one hour of work for removing the deck, because Luis was waiting to contact him it went on for 2 hours. He wrote me a check for the difference $420.00. Now part of my deck and my steps have been removed and I'm not able to get off of the deck . I paid for 16 hours of service and he could have done what he could for the 16 hours but he wanted to charge me more. After contacting several contractor today, All have indicated they could complete the job in two days. I believe any experienced contractor could have done the job in that amount of time. All of my estimates have been less than $1300.00. What a rip-off!!! I don't recommend that you use this contractor.

They did a good job. The price threw me down the most. Overall, the workers were pretty good. I had them do many little things. They were here for about 4 and a half hours.

I accompanied Luis to Lowe's to purchase materials needed to complete the necessary repairs. Alexis and Luis did an excellent job repairing the casing around my front and back entry doors. A section of casing was also repaired in one of my downstairs bedrooms and a section of casing to a door in an upstairs bedroom was repaired and the hinges re-attached. There was also a section of drywall that had to be replaced under the bedroom window. They also plastered a couple of small holes on the wall in my living room and hallway. I will use B & D Remodeling LLC again and highly recommend them for anyone who needs general contracting services.

Luis arrived on time. He quickly assessed where to set up to cut the moulding. He brought in and set up a compressor on a piece of cardboard and pressurized it for nailing with an air gun. After the installation, he filled all the little nail holes and caulked the rail. In addition, he filled some scratches in a door frame and filled a popped nail in the ceiling. I will definitely call B & D Remodeling again for future jobs. I recommend them very highly.

I found B&D Remodeling on Angie's List and they were able to come out the same day. He cut back an opening so it would fit a new appliance but the connection also needed to be changed so it still would not fit. We had the connection changed and it still would not fit so I called him back. He returned an email saying he could come early the next morning, which I was not available for since the email came late at night. I asked him to come as soon as he could. I called and emailed several times, with no more response so I wound up getting someone else to fix the problem. He also never sent me a receipt, which he said he would do and the cutting he did is uneven. Very nice person but would not hire again.

Update: Not only did Alexis reach out to me to make the concern right, he and his crew did an amazing job with the repair/painting work. as I originally stated I was pleased with his work and would use him again. He did the repairs and painting at his cost and I only paid for the paint used. That in my opinion is more than fair! I am glad l gave Alexis the chance to make it right. I will use him for future projects around the house.! They did the original worked that was requested. They are nice men, but when I experienced an issue with a leaking faucet under my tub and called, I was told it was several months since the work (3) and they were not responsible for any issues with the work. My garden tub is enclosed with a cultured marble panel. When installing the new faucet the panel was removed and cracked. They tried to glue it and put a piece of wood behind it. I was also told it was like that. It was not and I said so when told that. I was also told that there were no shut off valves under my tub and that I should have them. They went to Lowe's Home Improvement store purchased the valves and installed them. I paid for the materials. In January I noticed my ceiling in my living room directly under the tub was leaking in two areas. I immediately called Alexis and he said he was not responsible for the issue since the work was done a couple of months before. I asked him what I should do since my ceiling was dripping and was told he couldn't come and would not warranty the work at that point. (he was in church and would be there into late into the evening). I had to have another contractor come out to the house that evening and pull everything apart again. He asked who glued the marble panel liked that and then informed me the valve was what was leaking. I had to pay for another valve and his time to replace it. My living room ceiling now has to have two areas of sheetrock replaced and the downstairs will need to be painted because it is an open floor plan and hasn't been painted in several years (cannot blend it in). I am a single woman who chose to use Angie's List because I thought the work was reputable. I am hesitant to have any further work done. I have spoken with Customer Service and was advised to update this review and my experience.

We had a fantastic experience working with Alexis of B&D Remodeling to have a combination washer/dryer installed in our condo. The project involved expanding an existing closet and establishing the necessary plumbing and electrical work. Alexis performed the work himself with the assistance of one other person and they were both meticulous, friendly, and knowledgeable. The final cost was exactly the same as the estimate Alexis had provided, and the work was even finished nearly a full day ahead of schedule. We are very impressed with Alexis?s work, recommend him highly, and would not hesitate to hire him again.

Alexis does very good work. He is conscientious to do the job right. Including crawling under the house to repair a disconnected dryer vent and ensure it was attached to the dryer properly. While these weren't complicated task you could tell by the care he took that his name is on this work and he wants it to reflect well on him. I'll definitely use Alexis again.

Excellent. I don't usually write reviews--but this provider deserves it. Always prompt, really hard worker, very personable, reasonable pricing above & beyond package deal--- terrific all around deal. Alexis Garcia can do it all. We will be using him for all our future home repairs, painting, etc. Highly Recommended!!
