We have used APS since the 1980's and have had uneven service. But what happened today sends me finally to search for a new company. APS did not provide any services. I called the company because they had replaced the last security system battery we needed, which was in 2004. The person who answered the phone did not identify himself or the company! I asked him if they still carried the batteries and he said yes. But when I tried to arrange a time to pick a battery up, he was very vague. I finally asked him when he is the office, and he stated between 9:00-4:00, but he is in and out. I asked him if I could come in two days at 9:00 and he said yes. He suggested I call first to confirm. The day came and I called but no answer. Since the office was not that far from our home, I drove to their office. No one was there. I sat in the parking lot for about 10-15 mins. and continued to call the number I had. Finally the same gentleman answered but said he would not be there for at least 45 mins. I could not wait that long and asked him when I could come back. He didn't know - I would have to call him! He was uncooperative and quite rude.

THE GUYS THAT CAME AND PUT IN THE ALARM SYSTEM WERE VERY GOOD. THEY SHOWED US EVERYTHING THEY WERE DOING. THEY WENT OVER HOW IT WORKED AND THE PROCEDURES THAT WOULD BE TAKEN IF IT WAS SET OFF. THEY EXPLAINED EVERYTHING VERY CAREFULLY.
Description of Work: THEY INSTALLED AN ALARM SYSTEM IN MY HOME. THEY ALSO MONITOR THE SYSTEM AND DO ROUTINE MAINTENANCE WORK.
