My experience was excellent from start to finish, including the selection of the door and glass panels.  The salesman provided tremendous assistance with selecting a new door, color, and style of the glass in the sidelights and transom, and he took his time to make recommendations and to look at different options with me.  He was able to transpose the new door and glass onto a photo of the front of my house to ensure that the final product style and color would be appropriate. 
When the ordered door arrived the customer service manager contacted me to arrange the installation, and the company was very flexible and cooperative in working around my schedule.
The installation team arrived on time, they were professional, and made very little noise during the removal of the old door and installation of the new door.  They cleaned up completely inside and outside, and there was no sign that any major work had taken place at my entry - other than the beautiful new door that enhances my foyer and my front entrance.
I've worked with this company on other projects, and I continue to call on them because of their excellent work.  They are not the low cost contractor, but their value is certainly worth the price.  I also appreciate the fact that they respond quickly to any service calls, and they've made some minor adjustments on my  other projects for no additional service charge.

We had a great experience with this company and can not say enough about their professionalism and craftsmanship.  They removed 33 wood windows and replaced them with vinyl windows.  We have plantation shutters in about half of those openings and they worked around the shutters to allow installation without damaging the existing shutters.  We had two windows removed and replaced with one picture window, which required the inside window sill to be replaced.  It was stained and finished to match the existing wood.  
Our home is half brick, half siding.  They removed the existing masonite siding, and installed James Hardi plank siding.  The exterior window frames were wrapped in aluminum.  Pictures of the trim detail were taken before install to aid the installers in reproducing the same look.  
Finally, small paint touch up's were made and new gutters were installed.  
We lived with a dumpster and port a John for 4 weeks, a minor inconvenience.  The workers were amazing.  They arrived everyday at the same time and were finished by 4pm.  Before they left they picked up everything and left the yard neat so that we could enjoy our evenings.  I have massive plantings around the foundation and they were very careful to avoid damage.  The whole process was impressive to watch, lots of details. 
The finished product is beautiful.  We could not be more pleased.

We’ve done work with them 12 years ago so we really knew about them.  It looks very good.  They did a good job.  The crews were very efficient.  It was very hot when they were working so they intended to knock -off 2-3 o'clock because of the heat; they didn't work the whole day.  They would be there by 7:30 or 8:00.  They got it done pretty quickly; it was a big job but it didn't take them too long.

Aluminum Company of NC installed new Gutter Helmet gutter guards on our existing gutters. It took them about one hour to install flashing behind the gutters and the Gutter Helmets. The color matched the existing shingles very well. The crew cleaned the existing gutters before installing the guards.They did good work and cleaned up everything before they left. The price is a little high because they have a lifetime warranty to fix the gutters if they every get blocked up. Yes I would use then again.

Our screened porch was very nice when we could use it, but in the spring when temperatures are ideal to be out there, the pollen
is so bad that the porch was unusable. Our plan was to replace the screening with screened sliding widows that can be closed to
keep the elements out but opened when appropriate to create essentially the same feeling as the screened porch. Aluminum
Company completed most of this work in March, and we discovered an added benefit of our new sunroom in that with its
insulated glass we could use the area much earlier in the season than when it was just a screened porch. And when the spring
came most all of the pollen was kept outside its windows so once again we had earlier use of the space.
Aluminum Company's work resulted in a very attractive addition to our home that actually looks like it was always there. Two
of our neighbors have come by to see the end result and are now interested in contacting Aluminum Company about having
similar work done to their screened porches.

Everyone was professional and easy to work with.  It was not easy to get the initial appointment scheduled, and it seemed to take a long time between the initial visit and when the windows were available to be installed.  Once the windows were in stock and a date to replace the for windows was set, all went smoothly.

Now?  The windows ARE EXCELLENT, the screens are integrated into the window, my hands do not have to touch the window to open or close them (think about it) because of a small ledge at the bottom of the window, tilt in. warranty is great and transferrable to the next owner of the house. 

This was a replacement of aged woodwork and lack of safety railings with a no maintenance design. The finished product looks great and will provide future savings on repairs.

They are real good. They stand by their work and honor their warranties. They are a great A1 company. Extremely honest.

I chose a specific siding and they were a preferred installer from HardiePlank. It took them about a week and a half to complete the job. There were not a whole lot of unexpected issues. They didn't run into any unexpected issues. They had to come back out a couple of times and address some things that I didn't like the way they had done it.

They did a good job.  I think they over charged but they said they will come and fix it.  They were punctual.  They fixed the problems that came up.  I had some problems with the flushing.  I don?t think I was impressed but the company has done a good job.  But because of my other experience with them for the siding I will not recommend them because I don?t know what you will get.   

None of them spoke English.

It was a nightmare.  They sent unqualified people to install.  Only one person did the film on it.  They just did poor quality and they messed up with what they did.  They pulled out the air conditioner and that is why I had to replace it.  They did not tell me that I just heard the Freon blow and then they denied that they damaged.  There was paint all over my porch.  They broke my brick stand and they sent me a cheque for $500 and if I cash it they are free and clear and I won’t tell you what they can do with that cheque.  In other words, run from this company.  My husband went online and their advertisement showed that they are professional installers of the hearty plank that is why we chose them.  They had to take down a wall but they put up a sloppy one.

From the initial meeting with Jeff, our salesman, to the installers, painters, and project managers, everything went great. We had a slight delay due to an ordering mistake, but they worked quickly to reorder and install. They really did a great job with cleaning up, and worked with us on a potential lead paint situation. We really appreciated the time they spent at the final walk-thru, too. Would definitely recommend them for windows, and will probably hire again when we decide to replace exterior doors.

The folks at the Aluminum Company made the whole process very easy, from the time that Dallas came out to develop a quote to the walk-through with Tim at the end of the project. It was great that Dallas and members of his team had ideas about roof and gutter colors - we went with colors we wouldn't have thought of, and love the result. They installed different shingles on the roof so we could more easily decide. Dallas worked to get us on the schedule and the work completed before house guests were due to arrive.
The roofing and gutter contractors who did the work were all friendly and professional and responsive when we had questions or concerns. We had many days of rain as the roof was replaced, but Tony and his crew only removed those shingles that they could replace before the rain returned. We have a difficult roof, with lots of dormers, but the finish looks fantastic. The gutter folks were also super. When we didn't like the angle on one section of gutter, they came back without complaint and changed it until we were happy. 
Everyone cleaned up beautifully, and we especially appreciated that Tony built a platform over a flower bed during the roofing project to protect the plants. Tim came out personally to connect our vents through the attic and also vacuumed the attic to remove debris roof debris that had escaped the tarpaulins that Tony spread in the attic. Tim has an eye for detail and was diligent in making sure that everything was done right and to our satisfaction.

We just finished a large window project with the Aluminum Company of North Carolina.  I was very pleased with everything. The salesperson, Dallas Spruill, helped us choose the right windows at the right price for us.  I had a lot of questions, as I knew nothing
about windows, and Dallas provided much great info to help us make our decision.  The installers, David and Paul, were so detailed oriented and fixed a bunch of rotten wood around our windows with great care. In addition, Dallas and others from the ACNC worked closely with our contractor for a room addition, and the entire process was seamless.  They made everything easy for me and I am impressed with the quality of the windows and wonderful customer service

Did a good job and they cleaned up well! They did have to return after the job was complete, due to a repair. However, it was interesting dealing with them. We talked to: a salesman,a coordinator in the office,  a warranty specialist, a work crew, and another person to get the payment.

It was the smoothest installation ever!  John Alexander was great to work with and the crew did a perfect job.  It's over a year later and we have no complaints.  As expected, our rooms are definitely more insulated than in the past from the outside temperatures.  We are very happy!
