They were good at what they did. They cleaned up real good. I can’t say anything bad about them. I will be using them again.

The Aluminum Company of NC was a pleasure to work with from the initial salesman who gave us an estimate, to the installers who did the hard work ,and the close out lady who came by to inspect the job and close out the account. The brand of replacement window used was the best you can get. Our salesman covered all the features in detail and this is what really sold us on his company. In addition to quality windows, The Aluminum Company was willing to take on the siding job where other contractors only wanted do do the windows. The crew that did the actual window and siding work were courteous, professional, easy to get along with, and did exactly what they said they would do. They cleaned up every day and always kept the clutter of their work down to a minimum. They worked hard despite SEVERE weather conditions and completed the project as fast as possible. The gutter crew were equally cordial and professional and completed their work in less than a day. Their work was the finishing touch needed to dress off the front appearance of our home. There were only two minor issues at closing and both were handled quickly and to our satisfaction. The Life Time Warranty on every component and labor (windows, siding, gutters and gutter helmet) of this job was another key factor in our choosing The Aluminum Company of North Carolina for this project.

I purchased replacement windows from the Aluminum Company of North Carolina several years ago. Unfortunately, over time, some of the windows clouded over and needed to be replaced. As I was anxious about climbing on ladders, the company sent out one of their technicians to help identify which sashes needed to be replaced. When the technician, Reed, came to install the new windows, he noticed that my front door (installed by another company) was sticking. He identified the problem and quickly fixed it. He also took care of another issue with the door's threshold that had been neglected by the other company. Reed was incredibly polite, professional, and efficient. He arrived on time, quickly replaced the windows and took an extra five minutes to fix the front door -- I really felt he cared about his customers! Despite losing several days to weather (rain and ice), crew illness, crew injury off the job - the end product was excellent. We feel like we have a new house and we are pleased with the overall results. We are also pleased with the transferable life time warranties for the windows, doors and gutters. We consider this valuable because we trust this company to stand behind it. We had to be patient with a dumpster and porta potty in our driveway for almost 3 weeks but when the work was completed you would never know they were here. The crew did a nice job of cleaning up after themselves. The crew also did some small add-on work free of charge while they were on the premises. This was very considerate and we are grateful. The crew was very professional and considerate. They communicated well and often asked us if we noticed anything amiss. Even though the work was done in the dead of winter, replacing windows had a minimal impact on our comfort inside the house. I did not chase down a lot of estimates for this work but I feel when you add up all the work performed, the quality of the products and the guarantees, we may have paid a little more but it was a fair deal for us.

Excellent work crew. Very responsive to questions. Verified any questionable areas. Cleaned up area very thoroughly after work was completed. Good communication before, during and after services. Good selection of siding materials and colors.

They’ve been excellent. I like their honesty, personality and explaining. What stands out to me the most about them is their customer service.

We called the company to be sure that they did small jobs and yes they do. Made an appointment and person was prompt and very responsive to our needs. Able to provide the type of screen door we wanted with three removable panes and a full screen. Installation went well. They ordered the door and it arrived in the time frame estimated by the company. Installers arrived as scheduled and completed the job in a few hours. They cleaned up afterwards also.

Their price was better than other large outfits, and not much more than some small operations. They were responsive to our needs and special circumstances for our home, scheduled the job quickly, and more importantly, finished the job quickly. A couple of minor issues that needed follow up were resolved very quickly and easily. One small issue that I didn't notice until a year and a half after the work was done was resolved no questions asked. Great friendly folks to work with, with an excellent customer service attitude at all points of the operation, not just the receptionist and the sales guys.

They are probably more expensive than others but they're not the most expensive. They're dependable, they cleaned up and they provide good quality.

My experience with them went very well. I wouldn't say they did a perfect job, but they did pretty darn close. I was very pleased. They are very competitive in their pricing. I know the owner tried his best to give me good quality. They will make right anything that you find amiss, so it's a great company. The products were very expensive, but it was a good value.

I went with the Vendor for $6.5k and it worked out great.

I've used this company before with excellent results so I called them again when it came time to install a wall safe. While I will admit, this really isn't the kind of stuff they do normally, they agreed to do it nevertheless because I had done business with them before. They did an excellent job. The mount is perfect and they did the whole installation in about 2 hours. I am very pleased with their work and will use them again!

I only provided ratings for price and professionalism given I cannot comment on the quality of any work done for me since I won't be touching these guys with a 10 foot pole. If the initial meet and estimate is this unpleasant and unprofessional of an experience, I can only imagine dealing with any issues on any job. Ugh. A complete and utter waste of my valuable time. Update: Dear Mr Monsein, I absolutely assure you I am not "all about price." (I'm actually choosing a somewhat higher priced company for the work). I am all about value and professionalism. If it was all about price, I'd use non certified installers. Your salesman provided a $56,000 quote for all sorts of work I didn't ask for versus $20,000-$30,000 quotes from others. He asked how he was on price, I told him. Then it became a used car buying experience, which he even said "you knew this part was coming." Barf. As for bad mouthing competition, he did it. Pain and simple. As for apples to apples certified companies versus certified companies and crews, of course your crews are certified on top of your company... you subcontract out the installation to other companies (hence part of the higher prices). Your competition doesn't rightfully insult you for your high pressure sales tactics, do the right thing and don't insult them, especially when it isn't warranted.

First, Patrick was about 20 minutes late. He did call to let me know, about 5 minutes before the scheduled time. The sales pitch took about an hour, reading each line from the fact sheet *together*. Ugh. I can read. He figured an estimate of $5780, after knocking off $100 here, and there ($100 for being late, "don't tell my boss"). The came the PRESSURE SALES PITCH, this is why I will NEVER hire The Aluminum Company for any job, EVER. Nor, will I refer friends to them. Too bad, because I did like their product. He really, really wanted the sale, particularly after I informed him that we would be entertaining offers from others, namely Kelly Windows (Window World didn't phase him). Sales pitch went into Overdrive. "What do you need to see on this estimate?" "What would it take to give me this sale?" yada, yada, yada. I told him that Kelly had a coupon for $100 off for 6+ windows. More questions. Finally, I told Patrick that to entertain their offer, he would need to drop the price $500.00. So, he goes outside to call his boss (I assume he did. I didn't listen to their conversation). He returns to tell me that he has been authorized under a few conditions: A positive Google review, Refer my friends, etc. And, here's the kicker, I need to give him an answer immediately. I ask to discuss with my husband that evening. His reply, "Well, see, that's how these offers work. I need to know, right now." He suggests that I call my husband to discuss, over the phone. So, I did. Which I regret, because it should not have been necessary. It was manipulation. Dear hubby said the answer would not be given "under the gun." So, I told Patrick that we could not commit, if the deal would be available the next day, then so be it, but the answer was not immediately available. Now for the best part, as he is leaving, he says that "tomorrow morning would be OK, and that evening would be even better, because the sale would still happen that day." So, he had me call my husband, at work, to force an immediate sale, which was actually still available the next day. I spent the rest of the day thinking about how this all went down. And, it left a really bad feeling for The Aluminum Company. Which is too bad, because they had come highly recommended from two friends. I guess that they had a different sales rep. So, Jeff, if you're reading this, you might have a word with your sales reps about how they pitch your product.

The provider did nothing. They would not return my phone call to set up an estimate.

They removed all of the debris from the removal of the wooden doors. They replaced not only the doors, but all new rollers, tracks and springs. We have used them for multiple projects in the past and have always been very happy with the quality of their work. We would not use anyone else for these types of jobs. I appreciate that you do not pay them anything until after they come out and inspect the work and make sure you are completely satisfied. They have a lifetime warranty as well. They are replacing a gutter that was still under the "lifetime" warranty that was installed in 1988 tomorrow. We would definitely recommend them. They are 100% committed to customer satisfaction and will bend over backwards to make sure you are satisfied.

We chose this company because they had a very good reputation, they have been in business for awhile, have a great warranty and we liked the product. The install crew was very professional and did a great job with the installation. They also installed 2 storm doors that i had purchased at Lowes for me for a additional fee. We are very happy with the new windows.

The current job has not begun. An example of the great customer service we have come to expect is when we were struggling with changing our shingles to a new color; they immediately offered to come out and put our four choices on our roof in 3'x3' sections so we could feel good about our choice. In the past 3 years this fine company has replaced all our windows, replaced all our siding with Hardie plank color, and put a 16 x 14 sunroom on the back of our house. All work has been exemplary and the customer service outstanding. We continue to trust and value our relationship with this fine company and look forward to our most recent project completion.

Our salesperson, Patrick, came out, gave us an estimate and went over all the details. He included quality, manufacturing standards, installation, and warranty. The doors were ordered and then installed several weeks later. The installation crew were polite, clean, and very professional. We absolutely love our new entry way and will definitely do business with this company again.

I was contacted within one day of my sending an email to company and an appointment for estimate was scheduled the next day. John Alexander, the salesman, was very professional and punctual. The scheduler contacted me and we agreed on an appointment time of 10AM on a Thursday. About 9 AM that Thursday, the installer called at 9 AM that he was going to arrive about 1PM. About 1PM he called to say he'd be here closer to 3 PM. When he arrived he had only the railings not the columns. If I hadn't have been home, he would have started installing the railings. He apologized stating that only the railings were put out and stated he'd be back in the morning. He returned mid-morning the following morning and started the installation. It rained during the day, preventing completion. The installer stated he needed another 90 minutes and he would return the next morning. He returned when he stated but required 4 hrs to finish. The installer was friendly and took his time measuring everything. Follow-up by the company and salesman was good. Both seemed surprised I'd had a problem with installation , apologized and stated it shouldn't have happened. I lowered my rating because of the problems during installation. The end product was excellent and I would use this company again.

They were excellent and always top notch. They might be a little bit more expensive than others but whenever I call them to work on my gutter caps, they come out and take care of them. What stands out about them is their punctuality and long-term upkeep. They're right on time, very good, personable and they do a follow up. Their price is a little on the high side but for all the care that you get anytime that you call them is well worth it.

They were awesome. Any issues we had, they were resolved very promptly. They went above and beyond. The quality of service is excellent. They want to make sure that you are happy with the quality of work. We did not pay until the work was 100% completed. They just want to make sure you are happy with everything.
