Aluminum Company of North Carolina

Aluminum was excellent. We had a problem with one section that had nothing to do with their work and they came back 4 different times until they fixed it completely. They were very professional and was very quick. They got the whole roof replaced in two days.

My home was broken into in the middle of September. I initially called Aluminum Company of NC to replace a broken thermopane window and provide an estimate for a premium patio door to replace the one jammed in the break in. They replaced the broken window in two days. The patio door took longer as parts had to be ordered, but was not as critical. As I needed a new door lock anyway it seemed wise to replace all of the old locks and deadbolts with better hardware which used the same keys. I also had them rebuild my back deck which was in very poor shape. The work was done very professionally, and in all cases finished ahead of estimated schedule. A year later I am still entirely entirely happy with the work done. The Aluminum Company of North Carolina is not the least expensive of contractors but my experience with them has been that they do reliable and quality work.

The installation of siding, windows and front door took at least a week (trying to remember, since that was 10 years ago!). The crew was efficient and respectful at all times. We are less than satisfied, however, with the cleanup, since we are STILL - 10 years later - finding nails and small pieces of vinyl siding when we are tending the foundation shrubs. In fact, I believe I recall at least one tire puncture from a nail left in the driveway. I should point out that when they install a new door, they also install a new woodwork door frame; but they do NOT finish the wood - that is up to the homeowner. So it was a bit of a trick to match the new stain to the existing woodwork. We are very satisfied with their responsiveness to any issues we've had - such as the cracked window, broken screen, and the unclad area. All in all, our experience has been positive, and we would use Aluminum Company again.

They were exceptionally professional and very prompt and responsive. They came out and got the job done and it was awesome.

It was pretty good. They did a quote while I was at work. You didn't talk to them for very long. The quote was a little pricey.

We hired Aluminum Co. for a complete exterior remodel: new windows, doors, storm doors, porch decking and HardiePlank siding. Jeff Monsein went out of his way to describe their products and our options in detail. They started the project a week before they said they were going to start, which was great for us. We do not have much land on either side of our house and it was important to us to not inconvenience our neighbors. They were very conscious of our tight workspace, and cleaned up daily. We had complications with the existing siding and windows that added extra work and they were able to accommodate us without delaying the project. They finished the work in a little over two weeks. If we had a problem, we were able to reach someone right away to help answer our questions or handle our concerns. We were very pleased with their overall professionalism and the quality of their work. We love our new windows and our house looks brand new! We highly recommend the Aluminum Co.

We had a good experience with the Aluminum Company of NC. They are professional and responsive but expensive.

From start to finish the job went well, we had a couple of small issues that were corrected immediately.

The windows are beautiful and greatly enhance the look of our home. The outside noise level has been reduced and we have seen a reduction in our electric bills. The aluminum company employees (from the salesman - Danny Newman, to the installation technicians) are very friendly and professional. All work was completed in one day. We would not hesitate to use the Aluminum Co. in the future for other projects.

They did what they said they would do at the price they quoted. They were prompt and efficient and everything looked good in the end.

The crew came out when they said they would, installed the windows while my wife and newborn were home. They were very conscientious, courteous, and friendly. They cleaned up when done and did a very professional job.

It went great! There was a bit of a scheduling snafu but otherwise they came in, did their thing, cleaned up, washed the windows and went home. The windows look great and work nicely. The neighbors are jealous!

Not well, unfortunately. I had heard some good things about the company.

They were quick and flexible in coming out to give us an estimate, their price was in the ballpark of others. The downsides were that I had to measure the inside dimensions again for them when they called me because they apparently misplaced them, and there was a surprise $70 shipping charge that they said they just found out about.

They were quick and installed it right away. We will use this company in the future.

We had a good experience with them. They did a good job of replacing our gutters. However, there were some communication issues with them. They didn?t finish the job the first time around, and I had to have them come back and redo a part of it. The internal communication within the company about what needed to be done was not proper.

They are great. They are efficient and got the job done! They even sent out another person from the company to inspect the work. I am just ecstatic with their work. They are fantastic. The technician they sent out did a great job and the salesman was also great and knew exactly what I needed. The quality of their work and the product is great. I am going to use them in the future!

They are good. They guarantee things forever. The only problem with them is that they take a long time to get the products in; we don?t understand the reason for the same. When they put in the garage doors for us and when we told them that there was a problem with a panel, they were glad to replace the panel. They are nice and easy to work with. Even my neighbor uses them. They were recommended to us by our neighbor. Other than the delay in getting the products in, they are fine. The delay doesn?t bother us but we sure are surprised by the delay. Their prices are a little expensive, however, we can?t comment on the same.

After interviewing a few companies (some of which seemingly had no idea what they were doing), we signed the contract to have the Aluminum Company complete this work in December, 2008. Our old wooden entry door was worn and cracking due to sun damage (and probably some neglect on our part). What went bad: - apparently it took the manufacturer of the transom 3 or 4 tries to get it right - due to this, it took nearly 8 months(!) to have a finished product. We probably could have torn down the entire house and rebuilt it in less time (with a new door). There probably should have been more communication to let us know what was going on. My wife called every few months to get some status, I had practically forgotten we had ordered the thing. - after installation, the peep hole was broken and some of the hardware scratched. Was a bit irritated that they would bother installing hardware right off the bat that was obviously defective. What was good: - the Aluminum Company did make sure the job was completed to our satisfaction (and frankly, I'd rather have them send back the transom 10 times rather than installing a faulty one that starts falling apart after a few years) - Once the job was started, they were very responsible and always professional. They clearly care about their customer and want to make it right. - they were very apologetic about the whole delay. This was clearly a series of delays that they had little control over. Overall, I am happy with the finished product but the lower overall grade reflects the long delay. I would consider using them again because I do have confidence that they know what they're doing and that they will make sure the job gets done right.

They were very responsive, they sat down and discussed the estimate with us. They were very professional. After I started looking around and comparing I found that their price was very high. I will not be using them in the future.

I had my roof reroofed recently and found out that I had some roof damage because of the gutters. During this time they would not honor the warranty because someone else touched them. Also, found out the overhang on the roof was incorrect and that made the gutter guard not perform correctly. Thus, creating the roof damage. Every time I talked with them it always took 5 days to get back with me. They offered to pay half of the surcharge of the roofing company. I thought they should of pay the full amount. I also had sign a waiver to waive the warranty as well.

Sales person offered details and was knowledgeable. Work was scheduled and started in a timely manner. The roof was replaced in a single day, and work appears to be of high quality, however they crushed a lot of plants and bushes and offered apologies. Siding work looked good, but the trim repair didn't match well, offered apologies but said it was they best they could do. During walk through, we gave a fix list prior to paying. Most issues were addressed before the next walk through. We paid, I gave them a bag of nails I picked up from the driveway and they apologized. Now I'll finish caulking those nail holes in the siding myself.

They gave me an estimate before they started the work. There was lot of hiccups, like the weather which was not in their control. But they finished the work when they said they would do. They kept me updated with the changes. They gave me life time guarantee on their work. They cleaned up after themselves.
