The only part of the gutter shielding that had to be replaced was due to hurricane damage. Ever since then, I have never had a bit of trouble. I have not used them for a long time because their work has been excellent. I have used them on Angie’s List, but I would highly recommend them. They were excellent. I would definitely call them again should I need something, but they are so good that I don’t need to call them.

They are very customer oriented. They are very honest and they really do good work. I will recommend them. They are the best! They cost a little more than some companies but their service makes it worth while.

Their work included moving the wiring that needed to be moved due to the new framing. I found that they were very easy to work with. They tried very hard to reflect back to us that they understood what changes to the room we wanted to have made. When I had some minor issues with a torn screen and a missing plug for a mounting screw for one of the windows, they sent their service guy out at no charge. He repaired the screen and put a new plug in that looks better. They were very responsive to any issue I had with any of the construction. They wanted to make sure that I was happy with their work. When I mentioned to a friend who I was going to have do the work and the work that I was going to have done, my friend thought that I was going to be paying more than I needed to. I think I got my money’s worth through their customer service. I was very happy with their work and their customer service.

I've been using their services for ten years. They're a general contractor and they do a little bit of everything. They're a little more pricey than most but the quality of their work is good. I will continue to use their services in the future.

Jeff Hoffman from the Aluminum Company of North Carolina came out to the house twice to show us what windows we were getting and to tell us how the whole process works. Everything sounded good and the windows were ordered. When the windows arrived, Matt called back to schedule. Chris and Kevin showed up and got right to work. They got the job done quickly and cleaned up after everything was installed. Bottom line: If you know that you need replacement windows and don't want to deal with fast talking, hard selling salespeople, call the Aluminum Company. You will have a very pleasant experience and get more than what you pay for.

They were wonderful every step of the way - from the first appointment all the way to final job completion. When I called for an estimate, I was prepared to purchase a new door, and Bill could have easily sold me a new door. But, after looking at the door and the damaged wood he told me that I didn't need a new door. All I needed was a simple fix. The service techs were polite, professional, and answered all of my questions. They even took time to show me what they were doing every step of the way. They did their best to keep the work area dust to a minimum and cleaned up so well after themselves I couldn't even tell they had been there!

Everyone that you deal with there is very professional. They take pride in what they do. If they make a mistake on the estimate, they give you the estimated price any way even though it is a loss to them. They work with you around your schedule.

There were a few glitches along the way in the remodeling project. The travertine tile was not laid smoothly,some pieces were higher than others.But our project manager was right on top of this and he had everything replaced even though it was a pain in the neck.I did not have to even mention this issue as the project manager saw it before I did. The ordered french doors did not come in when they were supposed to so we had to wait 3 weeks with the room torn up and the openings to our home were closed off with plywood.. But once the doors arrived, everything went pretty smoothly. Sometime some of the sub-contractors did not show up when they said they would which was only a big deal because we were taking time off from work to be home for this.However, like in any construction project it is the sub-contractors that work on their own schedule. We found this especially true with the tile layers.The other subs were pretty much on time(if you consider any time the day promised as on time) and did a good job. Lesson learned- do not count on the times planned for the sub contractors to come in. They will not be there when you expect them.Be patient with your project manager as it is not his fault.

I'll start by saying the end justifies the means, meaning that at the end of the process I was very satisfied. However, the project was not without glitches. First, the salesman came to give a quote. He was prompt , professional, and helped to chose the sliding glass door design and match the windows. Then a second person was sent out to remeasure the windows that were being replaced...which gave me confidence. Strangely however, after all that, the replacement windows had the wrong size inserts and more than I needed had been ordered. So back to the drawing board. We recounted, and remeasured only to find when this set was delivered, the inserts were still the wrong width. A company representative drove out to the house to bring samples of the various inserts so I could chose. 3 times is a charm, the next batch of windows look perferct. As for the installation of the sliding glass door, it went very well. The electricians were great arriving well before the Aluminum company representatives on the appointed day. They had to move all sorts of things around before the carpenters could start knocking out the wall and rebuilding the frame for the door. Took all day but everyone stuck with it. The door looks terrific, works beautifully and if someone would just come wash it every time it rains I'd be beyond expectations. The dry wall work was completed in good time, and the painting as well. I could suggest the company should have sold me on repainting the entire room, because of course the paint did not really match after 4 years. Still, well done. The work crews were attentive and timely.

They were very professional, but we decided to go with another company.

This com pany is fabulous to work with and the finished job looks wonderful. They were always on time,polite and answered any q questions that we asked them. Every day they cleaned up the work site. Owner on the company can by twice to check on the job. The rep. from window copant also came by. They did a beautiful job and I highly recommand them.

They showed up on time and did first rate work. The storm door is very high quality and perfectly installed. The gutters look great and they cleaned up after themselves carefully to protect my dogs from stepping on shards of metal. We did have a minor mishap that they went above and beyond to make me happy and I will be having them do a lot more jobs for me.

Installers were very punctual and professional at all times. Thoroughly enjoyable experience.

They were absolutely stellar. When there was a problem with them, the technicians came out and fixed at no charge. Once a year, they came out to clean the lip of the gutter. They are wonderful people with great customer service and it's a great company overall. They really stand by their work.

We had two estimates. Aluminum company was cheaper, but also more organized and responsive. They were very professional. Installation was on time, efficient and the workman was friendly and helpful. Made sure he reconnected all the alarms. They did a follow-up to make sure all was ok and go over the warranty. We were very pleased with their work. Would always include them when getting estimates and keep in mind the professionalism even if you might get a cheaper bid.

The final product was satisfactory. However, there were some issues along the way. The roof was estimated to take about 1 1/2 days. After the first day with a crew of six working a long day, it was obvious they were a long ways away. The second day the came with a double crew and worked a very long day and still weren't finished with the roof. The third day they came with a smaller crew to finish the project. They had a different crew leader the third day and a lot of damage was done to the plants in a couple of areas of the house. In addition the wrong color flashing was used. There were also a few other minor issues. I emailed Jeff Monsien, the owner, with my complaints. He immediately responded and guaranteed the work would be corrected and we would be satisfied. He said they would pay to replace the damaged plants. I requested that they replace a rotted fascia board in lieu of payment for the plants and they agreed. They work was completed promptly and satisfactorily. Jeff personally followed up to be sure I was satisfied.

The job went very well. The price was good. They were great. I would most definitely use them again.

They are a good company. They charged me about $1500. I liked everything and there was nothing that I didn’t like about them. They are a long time reputable company in this area. My overall experience with them was very good.

After some initial bumps in the road, the Alum Co has made me a believer in them as a company I can comfortably recommend. It was a real challenge to get an appointment in a reasonable timeframe. At first they wanted me to wait 2wks so I was going to pass. But given the reviews and warranty information I read in Anglie's List I called back and was persistent about having an appointment within a week; particularly since I often travel for work and had set aside the following week for meeting window replacement companies. After some pushing, they apologized and said they were unusually backed up and did set up an appointment later in the week on Saturday late afternoon. The meeting did not go particularly well. I did a review on Angies List and decided that replacement windows were just more cost than I want to spend on this project this year so I would be seeking window sill repair/replacement instead but would still certainly consider using this company when I am ready to do replacement in a year or two if I can work with a different salesperson. Unfortunately I received a company response in Angie's that was incorrect and inappropriate, and I responded correcting the record. UPDATE RE COMPANY RESPONSE: I have to give so much credit to Mr. Monsein, the owner of the company. Once he reviewed and read through the details, he picked up the phone and called me personally acknowledging errors/mishaps, apologized, and offered to do an estimate on the cost of repairing the sills. His call demonstrated an incredible amount of integrity which seems to be a quality that is increasingly rare these days. I so greatly appreciated and respected his ethics as a businessman that I decided to go ahead with the replacement windows for the entire house. I believe that anyone that operates his business with this level of honesty and integrity to acknowledge missteps and seek to correct them, is someone that will truly stand behind his products and work. And they did. Everything from there went really well. His salesperson did a good job and the crew did great work. And, best of all the windows were installed in time for the tax credits, too. The followup to ensure proper installation and satisfaction was very professional and timely. The Aluminum Co has made me a believer in them as a company of quality and integrity. I would certainly use them again and highly recommend them without hesitation.

They installed our new gutters. They were very east to work with and professional. They did a really good job and they were great.

They did such a good job with window work for us last year so we called them for this job. It was great. They come in, go up there and tell me exactly what they would do. They tell us what size we need and what size we want, we agreed on the design. The guys came in for one day and left, they didn't have any trash. They had an even better design for the backside of the house so I said lets go with that one. the work is top notch, I was very very pleased. I've had many compliments on the system since having it installed. When they said they'd be there at a certain time they were. I would definitely use them again, probably next year to put my screen porch in.

I called the Aluminum Company of North Carolina for an estimate on the two runs of gutters, downspout and deteriorating fasching board. They came out and gave an estimate, which I accepted. They are a little more expensive than others, but they guarantee their work (and in my experience honor that guarantee.) They came out and did the requested work more than adequately in a single day, within both schedule and budget. My only complaint is that they sometimes don't follow up on unrelated questions I have asked.
