Aluminum Company of North Carolina

We've had the new shingles and gutters for a year and they still look great! The Aluminum Company is a little expensive, but worth every penny. They showed up on time, were courteous, thoroughly cleaned the area and ensured we were happy before they left. I will definitely use them again in the future.

Their employee came when promised and did the work; in addition, he took care of a problem with a gutter which overflowed. He also had to order the replacement window; when he came back to replace the window, he checked on the work done previously and made a minor repair to that as well. This was the second time I had hired the company; I had hired them to install vinyl siding on a residence that I previously owned and was very pleased with the work done there.

They didn't even go on the roof to look at anything. They didn't even have a ladder on the truck, either. They tried to provide the estimate based from what it looked like on the ground. The quote was higher than others I got and I feel that that's because they were trying to cover any extra costs since it was provided from the ground.

I had several estimates to have windows, doors, siding and deck converted to sun room. Aluminum Company of NC estimate came in just a little above middle but I felt better about the quality of interview I had with Chris and his understanding of what I wanted. Also, he said there would be no payment up front, that once work completed and I signed off on it then he would expect a check. Work involved new siding, replacement of all windows on two story house, replacement of two entrance doors and garage door and converting deck into a sun room with casement windows, HVAC and new floors. Crew was very professional, always on time and cleaned up every day before they left. When it required them to be inside they were very careful to remove shoes and keep work area clean. Originally agreed to lay new flooring over existing decking for sun room. While on travel I received a call from the crew chief advising me that when they started the work on the floor it became apparent that the decking was not level and the new floor would not remain level. He said they were replacing the decking to ensure the floor went down properly but at no additional cost to me. He called just to make sure I understood what they were doing. Additionally, I forgot to include insulation under and over the sun room when signing the contract. They added that at no additional cost since they said it only made their work look better since the room was now heated and air conditioned. We had old doors replaced with much heavier medal doors and hardware. We have been very happy with the new doors. They are solid, the hardware works well and they swing open and closed very smoothly with hardly any effort. The replacement windows are outstanding. They work very well, easy to open and close, open in for cleaning and are very sturdy. They finished within the time frame they said they would complete the job and did cleaned up and hauled everything away. Then Chris came back and we went over everything to make sure i was happy. He had the painter come back to do a few touch up spots that he found (not me) needing a touch up. Overall, it was the best experience I have had with any company doing that much interior and exterior work. The only downside was that when the old gutter were put back in place the flow was such that there was overflow at the corner of the roof of the new sunroom. They came back three times to try and correct that problem. It is better but still overflows in that one spot in a heavy rain. I am sure they would have continued to return had I called them but I stopped calling them. The sunroom is now our favorite room and we use it a lot in both winter and summer. The grandkids play out there all the time. I was very pleased with the overall experience and if I have any more remodeling work done I will definitely use them.

The overall process start to finish was outstanding. The Aluminum Company has a great reputation and it's very accurate. The crew arrived on time and were very professional. They were neat and did a great job of cleaning up after the project was finished. Bill Cramer was my representative and from our first meeting throughout the process he answered all questions and did a great job of communicating. There were a few minor issues and Bill acted immediately and took care of them. He's extremely professional, pleasant and efficient. The final product turned out great. Our home looks amazing. I would highly recommend The Aluminum Company to anyone, and will definitely use them again for numerous projects they handle.

I loved the guy that came out. He was great, really nice and on time. It was an affordable price and I probably would have gone with them. It turned out that I just didn’t even do the metal roof and I went for an architectural asphalt shingles roof. Without the discount, the aluminum roof was going to be $24000. If I have other work to do, I would consider using them in the future.

The existing door had issues. A stain was forming above the door and a visible gap was in the lower corner allowing rain and bugs entry. I selected a new door that matched the existing door and placed the order. No money was required at this time. I was called to let me know the new door was in and to set an appointment an installation (at my convenience). The installers arrived on time and got to work. The came in with a broom and dustpan. They were friendly and answered all of my questions. The job took several hours and required nothing from me. Again, they didn't want any payment. After they left, I received a phone call to set another appointment to review the job and warranty and collect payment. This was a very good experience and I'm happy I chose this company.

Very expensive outfit, must cater to the elite crowd. I called to ask for an estimate on replacing a double door with a single door, no windows involved. I didn't pursue the discussion after the person told me their estimates started at $2500 and went up from there. I went on to get two estimates from Angie's List handymen at $1350 and $1250. Decided to go local with a neighbor who came in with an estimate of $750.

I choose The Aluminum Co based on a neighbors recommendation. They did an excellent job. There were a couple of issues at the window manufacturer and they took care of them immediately.

It was awful lot of work and they were fantastic. I am in another house this week and I got a thank you note from them here, because they knew my address here, it was just amazing.

The quote The Aluminum Company of North Carolina came up with was more expensive than another company so I went with the other provider. I have used The Aluminum Company for another project and they do good work.

We had some problems on our roof, and they gave us the best explanation about that. Although the work and the cost a little more, but they solved our problem, and it's beautiful. They solved the leak we've had a dozen people try to repair that leak on our roof, but they are the one who took fixed it, the guy who came over was Dallas and Patrick. When they said that they will be here on a specific time, they would be here and everybody is ready to work. They cleaned up the mess, there was no junk left around and they were really nice.

Team showed up on time as scheduled. Performed work as planned. Final product looked like it had been part of house from before install.

They are very good, but just a little high with their pricing. I knew their work was good because I had used them before. They are people I can trust.

They did the gutter guards and the whole nine yards. They were great. They came in at about the amount they said they would. They were very thorough. They got the job done in the middle of summer which in Atlanta is no joke. They got the job done in just a couple of days. They did find some spots in the tim work that needed to be fixed. They brought them to our attention and gave us estimates for that as well. They said here is this and we can do it this way and we can do it that way. We had one spot in the gutter that was leaking and they came back three times to repair it for free. I would use them again and I would recommend them to others.

100% satisfied from start to finish. The salesman and installtion crew were top notch. I could not have been more pleased with the entire experience. I have not found one problem with the installion or clean up. The products are high quality and I would reccommend the Aluminum Co. of N.C. to anyone.

I would say to not call anyone else but them. This is the second time I have used them. The price was a little high, but for what I got I thought is was excellent. I would use The Aluminum Co. of North Carolina Inc again.

They answered all my questions and they were very professional. They seemed very knowledgeable but I felt the price was too high.

They were friendly and punctual. They cleaned up. I could not have asked for anything better. We had about four people follow up with the work that they did. I was able to get my rebate for the windows. We plan on using them again in the future.

Based on a recommendation from a friend, I called to get an estimate. While I didn't get any other estimates, I had done some research on price. I felt their estimate was fair so I accepted it. I told them they would need to wait a week to do the work. They did not require a down payment. The next week (when I had told them not to come) they called and said they were coming that day. I called to reschedule and they did it the next week. On the day they were scheduled to do the installation, I left to go to work and when I came home I had gutters. No other evidence they had been there. They did a great job of leaving behind no trace of being there (except the gutters). They scheduled a time a week later to verify that I was satisfied with their work and to get the payment. They always showed up when they said they word.
