My yard was a mess! I had been procrastinating getting someone in to clean it up and then I saw the Big Deal offered on Angie's List by Agape Lawn Company. I bought the deal and was contacted via email by Brent that same evening. His email instructed me to reply with what types of work I needed done and when I would like to schedule the work. I replied to him last night and his crew was at my house bright and early this morning! The deal I purchased was for four "man" hours of work. In total, the crew gave me a bit more than the four hours. They didn't stop just because time ran out...they wanted to make everything look nice. And they did! They trimmed a bunch of bushes, cleaned up the bed along my driveway, mowed down a bunch of poison ivy and sprayed Round Up, distributed pine straw that I had previously purchased and put all the debris in one big pile on the side of my house. (They are going to return soon to haul it away for a small fee.) All three guys were very personable and professional. They were prompt, followed through on what they said and offered suggestions for improving my landscaping. I will definitely be using Agape Lawn Company again!

Taking advantage of an AL offer I scheduled for a lawn care and trim service. Confirmation was prompt, crew arrived on schedule and work progressed at efficient pace. Contact was professional and very courteous.

I found myself somewhat incapacitated this spring and on crutches. Normally, I do all my own landscaping and maintenance. Since I couldn't do that this spring and had fallen behind on a list of jobs I wished to accomplish this spring, I had to bring in some help. Agape did the transplanting I couldn't get to earlier. They also mulched all my beds and built a new one. They also mowed and fertilized my lawn. They provided all the materials and labor. They were extremely punctual. They did a good job and were very responsive to my instructions. I continue to rely upon them for lawn maintenance and recommend them to others.

We had 16 cubic yards of mulch delivered by truck, and they were able to come within a few days of delivery and transport the mulch to where it needed to go. All work was done by hand with wheelbarrows, and after the work was completed they cleaned up the area with a leaf blower. No problems were seen and they took care not to damage the ornamental shrubs as they spread the mulch in one of the gardens.

I am an avid gardener and always do my own yard work, but this year we are selling our house, and there are a million things on my to-do list, so I wanted to hire someone to do the mulching (8 yards of mulch). I contacted another company that I found on angieslist and had a bad experience. After a few weeks of waiting for that guy to get back to me, I decided to find another company, and lo and behold I stumbled upon Agape on Angieslist. I emailed the company in the late afternoon and heard back from Brent immediately by email. We scheduled a time for an estimate and he arrived early, waiting patiently in his truck for our meeting time to come. I was ready early too, so we met, walked around the property, he calculated the estimate as we spoke (adding the numbers in his head!) and gave it to me in writing, right then and there. We talked about his returning regularly for mowing and blowing after he did the major work. He came by the very next day and in 4 hours flat he and his worker did everything, made my home look better than it has in a long time. At the end, he asked me if I still wanted to have the regular maintenance, and I said that it wasn't much mowing, and he said, "Yeah, I agree. Why don't you email me when you need me then." He was above-and-beyond honest, professional, courteous, smart, and he knows his business well. I would go further than an "A" mark if I could.

Brent, the owner came out and gave an estimate. He figured we would need 15 yards of mulch. The work was done on the day he scheduled for the mulch to be delivered. The work was done very professionally. They took out all the weeds from the beds before laying out the mulch. Work was completed in 3-4 hours. The yard looks all spruced up. Very nice job. I would highly recommend these guys.

Shrubs cut unevenly. Azalea was hacked back. Now it is the end of February and I can see that it will NOT be blooming this year. Some debris was left underneath bushes. Most cuttings were dumped in the area behind our yard - some on our neighbor's property. Will not use this company again.

Brent did a great job seeding and aerating our lawn. We also hired him to come every two weeks to mow, edge, trim, and remove leaves. He always came when he said he would and called if he couldn't make it when scheduled. If I ever had any extra requests, Brent was happy to accommodate. He was always polite and responsive and we are very happy with his work.

I got Brent's information from this website and immediately emailed him. He responded back to me within the hour and was able to schedule an appointment with me within the next few days. He was on time and very professional. He agreed to come back the next day to mow my lawn. Unfortunately, it had rained so when he arrived he informed me that he did not wan to put ruts in my yard when he mowed and assured me he would come back the next day to complete the work. He did and my yard looks fantastic. We are so impressed with his professionalism and his work that we are signing a 12-month contract with him to take over all lawn care for our yard. We would definitly reccommend him to anyone. He is wonderful and his prices are very reasonable.

They were very professional, very timely, and responsive. I was very impressed. They also did a great job with the mulch they picked and the spreading of it. However, we were disappointed in the weeding job they did. In many places, we just found the mulch covering the existing weeds with no attempt to remove it. We would probably still use them again.

I phoned Brent, he came to our home and provided an estimate for mulch and work on the landscaping beds in front of our home. He provided the estimate via e-mail within 24 hours of visiting and scheduled the work within 2 weeks. His crew arrived and worked diligently until it was done. The were able to follow my crude diagram and moved large shrubs, divided grasses, weeded and mulched. They did this the same week Brent was graduating from NC State. I was impressed!

The estimate was for 2 hours work at $50 per hour- this was for special work (i.e., not routine mowing). When I got home, the yard looked great, and because the work had not taken the full two hours, I was only charged for one hour. These guys are honest! I used them throughout 2009 for routine lawn mowing and leaf pickup and they always come at the designated time, the price is reasonable, Brent is great to work with.

This experience was a nightmare. There are leaks and some of the sprinkler heads don't even function right. I have tried repeatedly to contact them and get only a machine, and they never return a call. I had heard good things about this company, but for me it was just a bad deal.

Bobby and his partner were great. They were really friendly and very thorough in explaining everything. They also gave us some upgrade suggestions with a written estimate, but did not push us to do it. They assured us that what we had was fine and the upgrades would be more of a convenience than a necessity. From calling a few companies before deciding on using this one, it seemed that their rates were more reasonable than the other companies I spoke with. We are really happy with their services and will definitely continue to use them.
