From start to finish they were efficient and effective. The work resulted in a substantial improvement in the appearance of the lawn.

It has been a great experience from start to finish, We have worked with Brent and he is completely on top of things. He is honest, hard working and fair. Whenever we call for service, he schedules us within the week and he and his crew come out and always do an excellent job. We have been completely satisfied with the work and Brent is very fair with the pricing. If he can think of a way to save you money, he always points it out. We hope to continue a working relationship with this company for many years to come--my husband respects Brent, likes the pricing and the work and I am just happy not to have to do any yard work!

Agape keeps my lawn looking great for a very reasonable price! They are professional, courteous, and responsive. First, Brent was willing to work around my schedule and meet with me in the evening to discuss their services and provide an estimate. Then, they followed through with great service! They know how to care for a lawn, and they use quality equipment. They have cared for my lawn all season now, and I am very pleased with their mowing, trimming, and edging services. With a steep slope on one side and various obstacles throughout, my lawn isn't the easiest to care for either. They also blow off the porch and driveway when they're finished and leave them looking even cleaner than when they arrived. If the weather keeps them from coming on their scheduled day, they come the following day, and if dry weather has slowed the growth of the grass, then they don't mow until the lawn is ready to be mowed again. Last year, Agape planted several shrubs for me (which have turned out well in spite of the hard and rocky ground around them), and they provided great services in the fall to help me establish my new lawn. The lawn was about a year old at that time and the grass planted by our home-builder didn't survive the summer well. Agape came out to aerate, overseed, slit-seed, and fertilize, and about six weeks later I had a lush green lawn. Last but not least, they kept my lawn leaf-free throuhout the fall.

Brent was terrific about setting up the appointment, and very responsive. When he came out to the house, I learned that their company did not do landscaping, and that he actually did not know a lot about individual plants. I was disappointed and told him "I'll be honest, I had hoped to find someone that did both lawn and landscaping services", but that was the complete extent of it. He also couldn't identify a weed that was in (all over) my yard, but again, who cares - he said he could get rid of it, and that was enough for me. Brent provided estimates for lawn care, clean-up, bush cutting, mulching, and tree removal. All estimates were reasonable except for the mulching ($100 to mulch perhaps 50 square feet of previously-mulched area) and the tree cutting ($900), but that was fine. I replied to his estimate with a "YES" to most of his services, and asked for a price reduction for one, omitted the other. Something must have happened over the weekend to make Brent change his mind, b/c today he replied and said: "I am going to have to decline the offer to work for you guys. Honestly you came across as rude to me several times in things you said and your body language and one advantage to owning your own company, as I'm sure you know since I believe you are also self employed, is that you get to choose who you work for. We have plenty of work so I am starting to be more selective in who we work for, we have over 130 regular clients, I give seven or eight quotes for service weekly easily, and I am not looking to pick up clients who I feel may be difficult to work for. Best of luck in getting your lawn care needs taken care of. Brent Droege" Needless to say, my wife and I were - and are - completely flabbergasted by this. On the one hand, I respect the position of choosing who to work for, and taking a stand re same. On the other, this was about as out of left field as one could imagine, lol. He was extremely, openly apathetic about the landscaping things I asked him about, but other than that the entire interaction seemed fine to me (and my wife). So we are really scratching our heads. The only other thing I can think of was that he felt my asking if he was still in college at State (me making small talk) was rude, or hit a sore spot with him. Neither my wife nor I were "rude" to him in any way, shape, or form. In any case, it seems Brent is doing quite well without our business, and I wish him luck. But if you have him come out to your house, you may want to limit the number of questions you ask him, so as not to offend.

Ricardo and his teammate showed up on-time and were very friendly and professional. The work was completed on-time, and Ricardo walked me through what had been done. Everything looked great, and I will definitely work with Agape again!

Very, very pleased with the service provided by Agape. I had purchased the BigDeal ($89 for 4 man-hours). I am sure they spent much more time on my huge unkept yard - mowing, weed-cleaning, trimming, blowing, spraying round-up and even killing a snake that had crept in our yard. The yard looks clean and well-kept. Professional, Punctual and nice people too! Completed their job what they promised and much more!

Although their mowing charge is slightly higher than previous companies I have used, their work is much more conscientious than companies I previously used. I have a sloped lawn on which riding mowers tend to tip and cut at inconsistent heights; so, Agape Co. has hand mowed this lawn and has gotten uniform and professional results. Also, we have a bench around which previous mowers would use trimmers, resulting in damage to the grass under the bench; my wife is particularly happy that Agape Co. does not trim around the bench but moves the bench, mows, and restores the bench to its position, resulting in very uniform cutting under the bench and no damaged grass. I am very happy with the job Agape Lawn Co. is doing.

They came promptly, did the requested work quickly with great quality and then did some extra work also. When they were done the yard looked very good, and my husband had a relaxed and trouble free Father's Day.

My front and back yards were in serious need of work. I called on a Tuesday afternoon, and they had an available slot for that Wednesday morning! The crew--three guys--arrived 10 minutes early and ready to work. They did an excellent job shaping the bushes, mowing the grass, cleaning out brush (from as far back as the winter!) and making the yards look great! The guys couldn't have been any nicer. The foreman was very professional and told me exactly what they would do. He answered all of my questions and also asked me my preferences for the bushes. The entire crew worked hard every minute they were here! I will definitely call them back to keep the place looking as great as it does today!

Great. The entire group was very professional. I purchased the Angie's List Big Deal coupon for 4 man hours of work. They finished all of the work we had for them in less than that time and mowed and edged the lawn with the leftover time. We were not expecting to have that done when we got home and it was a nice surprise! We would love to use them for routine lawn care but they said they are located too far from us and would have to charge extra for the commute so they recommended going with another company. That is honesty!

Brent and his crew showed up promptly, reviewed the work I wanted to have performed, and then went right to it. They were very professional and Brent was very easy to work with. We were more than satisfied with the work they did and would highly recommend them.

Snapping up Agape Lawn Co.'s $89 deal on Angie's List for four hours of lawn service was sheer genius on my part (or so I like to believe). Brent responded lightning-quick to my email, though I'm sure the company was inundated with responses to this deal. His communications were superb, and he helped me prioritize what I wanted to accomplish with four hours' worth of work. Brent was considerate about timing, too; he didn't want me to have to hang around waiting for his crew. Indeed, Clarence called when he was finished with another project in the area and asked whether I wanted him and his crew to come early or just keep to the original time. Very considerate! Clarence, Mario, and Julio were so easy to work with; we actually had a really fun time. And they went above and beyond in my woebegone yard. We talked about my vision for a new garden area, and I warned them that outcroppings of granite in my yard were a mowing and gardening challenge. So when Clarence came across a particularly huge hunk of granite, he wondered whether it would make a good detail for the new garden. Then he and the guys dug it out, scrubbed it clean, and installed it as the perfect centerpiece. Who else would do something like that? They did so much in the time they were here. My front yard is completely transformed, and Clarence and Mario offered solid advice on how I can continue to develop the garden areas they and Julio created. I will definitely be contacting Agape again and recommending the heck out of them in the meantime. I'm really delighted. Thank you so much for my new yard!!!

I used an Angie's List coupon to do the work. They were very hard working. They did what I asked for the most part. They were certainly worth what I paid them. On the other hand, like many landscaping people, the people working aren’t hugely skilled so they aren't as good at telling the difference between weeds and things you want to keep. They were easy to deal with. The coupon deal was $69.00 for 4 hours of work. It was pretty reasonable. I would use them for certain things like the kind of clean-up I hate doing.

Brent and his crew did an excellent and thorough job cleaning my yard. I will definitely use them again and have recommended them to friends.

When I saw that Angie' s Big Deal of the Day was 4 hours of yard work for $89.00, I jumped on it! It was easily one of my smartest purchases. Agape Lawn Co., llc. employees, Clarence and Tommy (who've been friends since they were seven) showed up a half-hour early, full of good cheer and ready to work, which was a good thing because our back yard needed lots of attention. Besides giving us novice gardeners lots of good tips on which plants would do well where, they also rated high on the integrity scale by pointing out the tasks that we wanted to outsource were well within our competency range. My husband and I were so taken with their positive attitudes and friendly demeanor that we hung around the yard and chatted with them as they went about putting our woebegone backyard into pristine condition, which also included hauling away metal debris. They didn't seem to mind our presence and if they did, they were gracious enough not to show it. When the backyard was done, they turned their attention to our front lawn and did a great job there, too. I cannot recommend Agape Lawn Co. highly enough. Their care and attention to quality and detail truly exceeded my expectations.

We bid on an Angie's List Big Deal and paid $89 for four hours of yard and lawn service provided by Agape Lawn Company. Brent contacted us very quickly after we made our purchase on the Angie's List web site and did a good job gathering information on our job. We hired his crew to provide a spring yard cleanup, including trimming of some shrubs and bushes, edging and cleanup on beds, and remulching. Brent and his crew arrived right on time, were friendly and professional, and completed the work with great care. We were very impressed. We would definitely consider hiring Brent again--in fact we are thinking about canceling our current mowing service and going with Agape's annual lawn maintenance package.

They did a great job. Three people came to do the work. I would recommend them. They came ahead of time; they were early. I would use them in the future.
