Agape Lawn Company and Greenway Irrigation

I can't say enough good about Greenway Irrigation. They service what they sell. They installed my irrigation system when I built my home in 2000, and twelve years later, they still respond promptly when called. Very professional, friendly and fairly priced. Thanks Greenway Irrigation !!

I have an extensive lawn. For many years, I have tried to maintain it but as I have gotten older, I have tried various lawn services in the Triangle area to maintain the lawn for me. The previous services failed to maintain a viable lawn or were not reliable in their service. I met with Brent during this past September. We had talked originally by phone and made an appointment for Brent to meet me at my home on a certain date and time. He arrived right at that appointed time. Brent was very friendly and professional. He reviewed my lawn situation and we discussed my desires both for the lawn and the landscaping around the house. In the end, he presented to me a package that included all the lawn care and maintenance care for the rest of the landscaping, on a yearly basis, for a very reasonable monthly fee. We agreed on the contract and the next week, his crew began the lawn and landscaping care on my house. It has been an AMAZING experience. His crew came exactly on time, and performed a BEAUTIFUL job on the entire lawn and landscaping. Absolutely meticulous and professional care. I was "blown away" as to how neat and pristine the landscaping looked when they were done in their first visit. Since that time, over the past 6 weeks, they aerated and seeded the lawn, mowed and edged, and have come by to blow all of the fallen leaves off the property. I now have a beautiful and meticulously maintained lawn. Brent and his crew are FANTASTIC!! They are very friendly, courteous, professional, punctual and reliable. I cannot say enough great things about them. I would highly recommend Agape Lawn Company without any reservations.

Agape sent out messages through Angie's List with a special promotion of $33 for three treatments that included fertilization and weed control. When they arrived to treat the yard we were told that the promotion only applied to yards up to a certain square footage. Our yard was slightly over but they agreed to provide the service since they did not put the limit of the yard size in their promotion. After the first treatment there was quite a bit of crab grass that continued to thrive and we applied our own treatment. We had to stay on top of them for each subsequent service. When they came the second time they completely missed sevaral large areas of weeds and they missed this same areas on the third service. When they arrived for the third treatment, they complimented our yard and asked how we kept it in good shape. We had to put our own weed control down, along with lime and fertilizer. On this third treatment, their product did seem to help with the sedge nut weeds. This was after we made sure these weeds were pointed out to the staff. The only reason we signed up for their service was the great price, but the old saying of "you get what you pay for" applies in this case. Overall we were not impressed, we will not use them again and do not recommend them.

They were great. Very courteous, efficient, professional, and quite when they came to service. I had them spread mulch and they cleaned up after themselves. I would highly recommend them to others and would use again in the future.

We signed up for the company's promotion in Spring 2012. Services appear to have been delivered as promised. This was not so much proven, as we did not receive several of the promised confirmations of applications, as it was hinted at by the good response our lawn had both with respect to greening and to reduction in the number of weeds. We had hoped to renew our contract, but Brent has not returned our request for a full price quote for around-the-year service. This was our first experience with professional lawn treatment. It won't be our last, but future contracts will be with someone more reliable.

They did a good job. When they finished up with the list I first came them, they asked me what else they could do to fill up the time, which impressed me. I was pleased with their work.

The estimate for the lawn work was performed as part of a previously-purchased fertilizer treatment program. I let them know that I was interested in them doing the work. In my e-mail, I indicated that they were a bit high on price but I was using them because I trusted them and knew they would do a good job.They immediately scheduled a time that was agreeable to us. {They are always professional and responsive.} I flagged the lawn and they came out and performed the aeration. When I returned from work, I could see that the aeration was completed. I could barely make out a bit of seed/fertilizer here and there but assumed that it was pushed down in the holes. I watered for several weeks and didn't see the results that I expected so I ended up buying seed myself and overseeding, especialy the bare areas. I think they did a good job on the aeration (could have spent some more time on the bad areas). I think they were extremely skimpy on the seed and fertilizer. A bit of straw over the bad areas would have been expected at this price, which was $100 more than the Big Deal going rate from a competitor. ***UPDATE - Brent contacted me and made things right, which I did not expect but was very welcomed. I would definitely recommend this company for future landscaping business.

Brent and his crew arrived and immediately began to fertilize, aerate and seed the lawn. They decided to lay straw over the areas that were bald. In addition, the crew took time to remove some tree roots that were growing above the ground. They were polite, professional and efficient. They cleaned up after themselves and left the area around the lawn clean and neat. With all the rain we have been having this past week, the grass seed has already started to sprout.

Ok. No obvious improvement in condition of yard. Had to call to remind of service due for 2nd and 3rd treatments.

The team arrived on team and did great work. The garden beds had been a mess and, when they left, were ready for the additional work I wanted to do on my own. It was a good experience and I recommend them.

Agape came out 3 times for the services puchased. They were on time and did an excellent job in doing what I paid for. In fact, my lawn looked better than in past years with another service. I plan to contact them for continued services.

I purchased a "Big Deal" - Three fertilizer and weed control treatments for $99. The first treatment was done promptly, and the owner was courteous and punctual. The problem was that I had to contact them for the second and third treatments. I would have expected that they would contact me come out each month, but instead I would hear nothing, so I would have to contact them as if to say "Have you forgotten about me?" When I would contact them, they would respond very quickly, professionally, and courteously. My sense is that they had sold a few too many "big deals" and that if I hadn't called them I would have been overlooked.

We could definitely see a difference in the amount of weeds and how much the lawn 'greened' up. We were very happy with the service

The company was very professional and let you know exactly when they planned to come and what they were doing. I will use them for other services now that I can trust them (like seeding/aeration/landscaping).

Everything went fine with each application to our lawn and I was able to contact the owner via email whenever I had a question or requested additional service for our lawn. Very pleased with the service provided by Agape Lawn Company.

Contacted Agape Lawn Company for general lawn maintenance and to inquire about weed control programs. I spoke with the owner (Brent) who was very courteous and informative. He scheduled a time to meet with me in person so that he could review my options and provide me with the appropriate estimates. Throughout all of my discussions with him, Brent was very knowledgeable, up front and spent time answering all of my questions (I had a lot!). Once I confirmed that I would use them, his team came by as planned to mow, edge and trim the yard. They also took care of all the clippings. In short, they were very thorough, quick and did an excellent job. I am definitely continuing to use them and would recommend them to anyone in their service area. If you are out of their service area, you should consider moving closer...

Overall, the service was good, and I will use them again. The lawn treatments worked very well.

I've been using them since March for lawn work. They do a nice job and it's always done every week. I don't have to worry about it getting done. One week they were delayed because of mechanical problems and the owner, Brent, called me in the morning to let me know. They got it done the next day.I have a couple of areas of the lawn that I've had problems getting grass to grow. I asked Brent to take a look and give me his thoughts on what I could do . He was very prompt in looking into it, gave me his thoughts on what we can do and we'll be talking shortly about setting this up. I like having a partner when it comes to my lawn. In short, I'm not paying someone to just "cut my grass." I'm paying to have someone take care of my lawn and I think Brent understands this.By the way, the trimming they do around the trees and flower beds is perfectly edged. I never got it to look that good.

My yard looks GREAT! Much better than me and my husband trying to do it. They keep the weeds out of the natural areas and all edges trimmed. The crew is quick and efficient and always comes on their scheduled days. I like that Brent has "all inclusive" pricing, such that things like the leaf pick up in the fall and reseeding is bundled into my monthly price to spread out the payments. Brent has been outstanding to work with as well as his crew.

Prompt response to my phone call. Arrived when they said they would. Let us know what they did. Provided advice for lawn care but did not try to "up sell". A very good experience.

Originally hired them due to an Angie's list deal where they came out and spent 4 man hours cleaning up my yard. Did a great job and I inquired about having them take over everything related to my yard - asked Brent to put a quote together for me to have them do all my yard work (mow, weed, trim bushes, fertilize and treat for weeds, blow leaves, edge, weedeat). Provided a quote and about a month later (October 2011) I hired them to take over all aspects of my lawn care. I opted for the weekly plan and they have show up every Thursday (except for Thanksgiving - which is a good thing) to do work on my yard. Picked up and hauled the leaves away in the fall, pulled weeds as the spring crop started to appear and every week have done what is necessary to keep my lawn and plant beds looking good. I am probably going to have them do some mulch/pine straw this fall (2012). Since hiring them, Brent's crew has started to mow my backdoor neighbors yard and a house 4 down from me and overall everyone seems to be happy. I am actually HAPPY to send Brent a check each month because I really don't miss doing mowing my yard (especially since it has been 100+ degrees for the last week or so)

Brent called me within 1 hour of my original email and was able to come out the same day to do the estimate. He had great suggestions for removing some dying hedges that were located in a shaded area and replacing them with more tolerant bushes. Initially he indicated that they would be available the next week to start the work, but when asked to do the work earlier, he was able to accommodate and have his crew there two days later. He and three of his guys spent the entire day at our house performing the work. They were punctual, professional and extremely hard working. They responded to my requests for additional pruning of several bushes and definitely did everything to make sure the job was done to our satisfaction. I will hire them again the next time I have landscaping work to be completed. I give Agape Lawn Company my highest recommendation.
