I live in a different state than NC and I have a home in Durham that I haven't been able to attend to. The grass got out of control, grew to be about 3.5 feet and I needed help FAST. I sent out an inquiry for a quote on Monday and that same afternoon Brent called back to let me know that he'd pass by the house either the same day or the next morning. Then he called AGAIN on Tuesday morning to let me know the price for the job. I called back later in the evening and he called right back. RESPONSIVENESS: A+ We discussed the plan and agreed that he was the man for the job. I appreciate that he was totally flexible about method of payment (he was okay with a check being mailed, but I prefer paying by card). But the best thing about our interaction? He said that he thought he'd be able to pass by my house on Wednesday or Thursday!!!! Heck yeah. Well, today's Wednesday and when I checked my cellphone this afternoon, Brent had texted me pictures of the mowed yard. In a matter of two days, I saw results. I was so impressed and I made sure to relate to him how pleased I was. You want your crazy, out-of-hand yard to get taken care of promptly, in a professional manner, and with pristine customer service? Brent from Agape Lawn Company is your man.

So far so good. No weeds in the yard and grass is growing strong. Yard was in pretty sorry shape and is now pleasant to look at. I would not hesitate using this company again.

We have received 2 of the 3 lawn treatments so far and we are quite happy. We receive excellent communication about when the applications will occur. The applications have been effective in reducing weed growth and improving the grass in our lawn. And the provider was happy to answer questions regarding the products applied.

Very professional. Sent an email to let me know when they would be servicing my lawn. Left a sign in the yard after the service was performed. My lawn looks great after two applications. Will continue to use them in the future.

We had them come in and do a spring clean-up for our yard. They also spread some mulch and transferred some plants for us. They were wonderful, very professional and very enthusiastic.

They were very professional and nice. You will get a email when it's time to have your lawn sprayed with fertilizer or cutting. I was satisfied with the service they provided. I wish they were a full service lawn care company then I would continue to use them in the future.

Brent (aka Agape Lawn Company) is a fantastic person. Personnable, professional, courtious and knowledgeable all rolled into one. He was quick to come give me an appraisal of work needed and estimate of cost. He and his crew were quick to start the work once I called to give him the go ahead. They completed everything in one day. His crew were a great group also. The work has been a fantastic success. Anything concerning or affecting your lawn, Agape Lawn Company is a "One Stop Shop"!

Best $99.00 I've spent on the lawn so far. The lawn looks better than it has in years.

We made several phone calls to this company and they never replied. I understand they can be busy, but I don't think it's too much to return a phone call.

I contacted this company after I purchased the Big Deal but never heard back from them. I received an email one week after I called them initially saying they would be in touch with me but it's been nearly three weeks since I purchased the Big Deal and still no communication.

Brent is a high quality individual who is conscientious. He shows up on time, does the work as he described, and if something is amiss he seeks to correct the situation immediately. He is also generous with recommendations of other vendors who do work complementary to the services he offers. We will use Agape services again and recommend this service.

The lawn looks great and so am I told by many neighbors. Yes, I am pleased. Only problem is I have to cut it more often. That is really not a negatve but a positive.

We were very pleased with our experience!! Brent responded to my email through Angie's List and came out promptly to give me an estimate. He was very personable, and seemed to know what he was talking about. I explained I was getting a couple of other estimates and would contact him one way or the other. When we decided to go with his company he scheduled us at a time that fit our schedule. I asked him what time to expect them, he said 8ish and when I picked out something to 8 the men were there and starting. Everytime I peeked out that were busy about their work!!!!! Before 12 I looked out and they were gone, the driveway had been cleared of debris, the "tree bed" for lack of a better word looked very nice. We went and looked closely and things looked good, I did notice an area were the rocks were thin. When I emailed Brent about payment and to express pleasure about how the men worked & how the area looked, I mentioned the area that was thin and he said it would be taken care of and sure enough the following Saturday 4/6 his people were there putting out more rocks and again clearing up their work space before leaving. We are very pleased with how the area looks and have gotten several complements. :) Kudos to Brent and his men at Agape Lawn Company. Update June 8 - We pulled small plants and grass from the area again. We realized the area would not be carefree forever, but now we are doing just as much care as when we had organic material rather than rock. The odd thing is we don't have the weeds we had before, now we have small plants and grass as if it were in the rock to start with. They grow on top of the weed resistant fabric. Im changing my review because this is not what we expected. I explained initially we were looking for something that was not labor intensive and would resist the growth of greenery and I would have expected we would have been told it was not a viable solution. Mind you we came up with the idea after realizing the rock beds around the house which we put there 10 years ago have only recently had any unwanted. So the work was done but the results is not what we expected after only a few months. I did contact Brent in May 21 and was told they put down the weed resistant fabric and rocks as asked but have never been a fan of weed resistant fabric. (Why wasn't this mentioned when we had our estimate meeting) Said they would come by and spray on Friday May 24th. I guess it was done but as I mentioned we just finished weeding. Suggested we have Roundup on hand for future usage. (??) Area looks very nice when extra greenery isn't there though.

We were extremely pleased by the work for the following reasons: 1) It turned out beautiful! 2) Brent, the owner, although only 24 years old, was a delight to work with. He kept his word, he stuck to his schedule, he personally supervised the work, he had a great relationship with his workers, he was a high communicator (easily reachable and fast to respond to you if you needed him AND he would even call to let you know if he had a change in plans so you never had any surprises or to have to sit around and wait for for a no show. He showed more maturity than many folks we have dealt with that are twice his age and have 5 times more experience. 3) Brent gave us a wonderful computer graphic in advance that gave us a good feel for what the job would look like when completed. 4) The work was done well and quickly. One neighbor stopped by and said she couldn't believe how much they had accomplished in one day. She said she had a landscaping company that hadn't even returned her phone call in more time than it took us to get the job scoped and installed. 5) Brent warrants his work for a year. 6) They cleaned up after themselves and always left the job site looking neat. 7) They used properly sized plantings so that the beds looked established the minute they put them in as opposed to what sometimes happens where you feel like you will have to wait 2-3 years for the plantings to grow in. We are also hiring Brent and his team to maintain our yard.

I've only been here once when they came. They're here & gone while I'm at work the other days. The day I was here, I threw the dogs in the car & left. So I have nothing to report. I can't remember how much it cost. It was reasonable, no more than half what we paid last year

Have been prompt in applying first two treatments. Showed up on appointed dates.

I have nothing to complain about. They are very responsive to us and they do a fine job.

Still waiting for the final scheduled treatment in June but so far service has been good.

Overall the work was performed in a timely manner. The representative informed me when the visits would occurr and what treatment would be done each visit. My yard looked great!

So far (2 out of 3 treatments completed), so good. I'll know for sure later in the summer.
