Agape Lawn Company and Greenway Irrigation

It baffles me that in this economy, and for a company that talks about responsiveness and professionalism, doesn't not even take the time to get back to a prospective customer! I guess business is good for Brent, but I can't imagine how that could be the case when I take the time to fill out the 'Contact Us' form on his website with a lot of detail, and then 4 days later I still have not even gotten an email back. Not even a 'hey, got your email but I am swamped..." Nothing. So I guess I will take my $1k plus job and shop it elsewhere. What a joke.

The owner, Brent, was very professional and easy to contact. When I initially requested a consultation and estimate, he was able to meet that very evening, even though I was only available later than usual business hours. Brent was very transparent about his pricing, and patient and knowledgeable in answering my questions. When there delays in the start date of our project based on the availability of sod, Brent kept us informed. When the materials were available to complete the project, the crew of 3-4 was able to get it done in one day, and did a beautiful job. All members of the crew were skilled and courteous. Overall a very positive experience, highly recommended!

I contacted the provider through Angie's list thinking that they would be most responsive to an Angie's list member. Later in the evening of the same day I did get a response asking about a time for the next day, primarily for lawn care, but eventual interest in landscaping. I provided a time of availability and nobody ever showed up and I have never heard from them since. I called another provider.

I saw a big difference in my lawn after the service. Most of the weeds are gone. Grass seems to grow much better now! I recommend their service.

They did well, I was pleased with their work. No complaints.

I think I fell through the crack, this deal accured at the beginning of their busy season. I wish their was better communication. I had asked for non flowering plants with lower pollen and this was not presented in the 3-D image provided.

So I purchased this "Complete Care Maintenance Program" with understanding that it includes mowing, fertilizer application, etc. and stopped service from Trugreen cause it's redundant. However they are not clear about when would these application take place exactly so I email the sales guy Brent back and forth. Interestingly after the purchase he become pretty unresponsive, and only contact me for billing. Usually his email contain only one line and never fully answer my questions. He led me to believe that fertilizer application and weeding it's not included somehow so I get Trugreen back. After first application from Trugreen, the next day they come and apply fertilizer! Now I have to cancel either Trugreen or Agape. This would not happen if Brent had take the time to explain things better. The service they provide is good but the (mis)commucation really bothers me.

The 3 applications were spread out over time (from about feb/march until end of may.) At each time the company sent an email and let me know roughly when they would be doing the application and the put up a small sign to let me (and others) know it had been done. All in all I thought it was a worthwhile investment. For my time/money, the cost was reasonable!

My husband and I had been contemplating having landscaping done to our home for awhile. Agape Lawn Company had high ratings on Angies' List. I contacted them and was immediately responded to by Brent. HE came out, met with me, listened to my needs/wants regarding the landscaping and was very easy to get a hold of. He presented us with fabulous ideas/recommendations and we love what he has done! He even came back out and went over the plan with my husband about a week before the work commenced to make sure we were all on the same page. They were able to complete the work in about two business days. He supervised the entire process and we couldn't be more pleased. He has since contacted me via email to see how the plants and sod were doing to make sure it was going ok. We would definitely use him and his crew again, as well as highly recommend him!

It went great! The service was excellent. The owner was very responsive upon my first inquiry. His team arrived first thing in the morning and worked efficiently through the morning until completion. The staff was courteous and professional. I will use Agape Lawn Company's services again.

They were fantastic! They were responsive and proactive in scheduling. They also confirmed appointment before they came and left verification that they were there. I have no complaints and am thrilled with their service.

The service started in early spring and got the last treatment on May 21st. Brent was very good about notifying us as to when they would be coming to provide the treatments and our lawn looks great!! We definitely would recommend Agape Lawn Co.

It was great. My grass immediately responded by thickening up and turning a beautiful deep green. I have had other regular grass treatments that did little to nothing for the grass and helped the weeds to grow. I do dislike weeds. Agape was good at communicating when they would be here and being on time. My lawn is stunning!

The provider never responded. I emailed several times (from Angie's List and from my external email). I also called. No one ever called back. What kind of company does this?

We had just moved into this house and saw that the lawn is in great need of help, which is why we decided to take advantage of this deal. They came out and applied three applications to our lawn. The first one was supposed to kill the weeds according to an email I received from Brent about the treatment. Two weeks after they applied the treatment, I was pulling and treating the weeds myself. They applied two more treatments and the only difference I have noticed is in a small area of the front lawn, which looks great. The rest of the front lawn looks the same as it did before.

I received two but have yet to receive he 3rd. The first two did nothing to eliminate weeds in my yard. I called last week to complain but his mailbox was full. I then emailed my complaint. The owner then sent an email blast to Angie's customers saying they would be out after the rains ended...still waiting.

Agape Lawn Company was very responsive and punctual. Their price and quality was great. I would probably recommend them.

This is the third time that we contracted them. I liked the fact that they let me know when they were coming and arrange the dates because they have to watch to weather. Last time, they left a little sticker planted in the ground to say that they had been there, which was nice because you get a lot of stuffs dry before you can let the dogs and kids on the lawn.

Team arrived on time. We walked around the entire yard as we discussed the details of what needed to be done. Once the work was complete, they had me check their work to ensure it was as discussed....and it was.

I expect to get the proposed plan back from them next week. I was impressed with their understanding of plants that would work well in my yard, their access to information at their fingertips on the ipad so that I could see the plants being suggested, and their understanding of some of the irrigation and hardscape needs that I had. they also understood my desire to reuse plants that needed to be moved from one part of my yard to another.

The owner Brent Droege sent a helpful email before each application explaining what would be done and comments on the current growing season. A small sign was left in my yard after the treatment to remind me not to walk on the grass until it was dry. My grass is lush and green; I don't think it has ever looked this good!

Brent went over all areas of our lawn, made suggestions on what should be done, how it could be done by us and where he could help. He delivered a laundry list of services and provided a great drawing of how it would look. We will use him for some of it, but will do most ourselves.

Professional team completed work efficiently and carefully and cleaned up nicely after the work was complete. Friendly group of guys. The grass grew nicely in the fall and looks good in 2013. Would definitely call them again when work is needed on our lawn.

The job was done expertly! From quote to schedule to work being performed, everything was timely and well done. The yard looks great! They even did a natural area that I hadn't anticipated them doing, but I'm glad they did - it looks better than I would have imagined. There are no weeds in sight and the mulch was spread evenly and deep. I should have no problems keeping these flower beds tidy this summer.
