Agape Lawn Company and Greenway Irrigation

The young man that came out to discuss what I wanted in a design and to walk thru the yard was very nice. He took notes and seemed to have a good understanding of what I wanted to have designed to improve our backyard and take care of some drainage issues in our front and side yards. I did not hear from anyone for a couple of weeks so I called to check on the design status. Because it was early spring, I was wanting to have a plan that I could install during prime planting season. The woman that answered the phone was very nice and said she would send an email to Will and check on the status. I received an email from Will that night saying I would have my design by the following week. To my surprise, I received a plan design from him the next evening but it was missing multiple design aspects we had discussed during our yard walk thru. I emailed him back and asked if he had forgotten some of the larger areas in our yard that needed plants. He immediately wrote back and said he had omitted some plants and would make the corrections. Within 10 minutes, he resubmitted his revised plan. With such a short turn around, I felt he had not put a lot of design effort into the plan and was just trying to get it finished. I didn't respond and decided I would just move on and start my interview process over looking for a good, experienced, landscape design. I received a follow up call from the company asking if I wanted them to bid on the design. I explained that I did not like the design and felt like not a lot of effort had been put into the plan. I knew I only paid $99 and was not looking for the next HGTV showcase but felt improvements could be made. I then received an email from Will, the designer, saying he understood I was not happy with the plan and what could he do to improve the plan. I listed my concerns and he responded with a summary of what he understood needed enhancing. He promised a revised plan and that was the last I heard from him which has now been over a week ago. I understand this is the busy time for landscapers and designers but it feels like they have taken on more than they can handle.

It was fine. He was just a really nice young man and he was a really hard worker. He showed up when he said he was going to show up. We ended up not using him to do the work but he was a really, really nice guy. I didn't really love the design but I can't fault him for that. He did what he said he was going to do and he showed up on time. He was very responsive.

A rep came to our house on time and walked around taking measurements in order to create an estimate. We wanted mulch placed around trees and bushes, bushes and shrubs trimmed, and an estimate on weekly grass mowing. We never got a response via email or telephone. I also left a message a week later and never heard back from them. My time was wasted.

Left for work in the morning and when I got home everything was done with a receipt on my door. Couldn't be easier.

I haven't had them execute the plan; all I did was get the plan. I know that the execution of it will cost a great deal more than I could afford so I did not have them execute it.

I bought a big deal for this service and they did fine. It did not cost any more than the big deal. I actually was not here when they did it. When I came home, everything was in order. The price was good.

I purchased this gutter clean-out service through an Angie's List promotion so I got a great deal. $95 for so many feet. Our house is bigger than the promotion amount but not sure if the gutters are more/less than the square footage of our house. I was expecting Agape to charge an additional add-on price for the extra feet of gutters but they didn't. Either they were nice or I was under the amount it stated on the promotion. Regardless, they did a great job. The gal on the phone was very polite & professional. She provided great customer service. The gentleman who showed up at our house was by himself & had to climb very high in my opinion. He did it all by himself & in a very efficient manner. He rang our doorbell to say when he was done & asked if I had any questions, etc. Very polite. Our gutters have not since splattered or overflowed when it has rained so it was very worth it.

The work was done well and they even came back after the job to verify our opinion of the work. I will use them again

Landscaping plan proposed a less interesting and more limited selection of plants than I had hoped and was provided in black and white so it was hard to see what the proposed color scheme would be (though information on each plant was provided). Technician was polite and knowledgeable.

Agape was polite, professional and provided great service. Will definitely use them again in the future.

Agape did an excellent job. They quickly responded to my request and sent someone the next day. Hector was timely, professional, and thorough. The price was great. Will absolutely use them again in the future.

They do a good job. They do everything they said they would do. There was one person here doing the work. I would recommend their service to others.

I have contract with them for a year. They do tuning, cutting fertilization and do everything for a garden. I like them very much. I pay $200 for a month. I feel they are expensive but I am very happy with the results.

He showed up as expected and we discussed what I wanted done: mulching, rebuilding a bed wall, and adding some accent plants. Said the estimate would be emailed. A week passed but I never received it. Called the provider to inquire about status of estimate - verified email address and was told someone would check with Brent on the estimate. It has been 3 weeks now and I never heard back from Agape Lawn with regard to the estimate. However, I did receive an unrelated promotional email from them. Everyone I talked with (including Brent) was knowledgeable and courteous, but the lack of communication around my request for an estimate was simply too unprofessional for me to recommend them.
