First meeting with the designer (Will) was on time. It took 6 weeks however for him to deliver a drawing and plant list which only meet a portion of what we discussed. A week later the owner called (Brent) to get more details for an accurate price estimate. He was pleasant and details oriented -- I had very high hopes. He promised to have Will call back to correct his omissions, and promised to have a hardscape detailed quote to me within a few days. It's now been nearly three weeks since that promise, and I have heard nothing from Agape on either promise. So I haven't received work worth the $99 I was charged for the "Big Deal", and I certainly haven't received the value implied in the ad. How disappointing.

They showed up on time and got right to work. My windows are sparkling clean. They did a great job!

Everything went fine. He asked me to look around to check windows before the two men left. I found a couple places I asked them to re-do. They did. The lead man was very friendly. The second person I did not interact with. I will hire them again.

The biggest challenge was completing the retaining wall in the backyard, approximately 30 feet of wall. However, there was no solid ground to put the base on. Brent thought that it might be best to stop the water flow from the lake to get some dry ground to build upon. He had his team build a sandbag barrier but the water still encroached. He continued to think of solutions and eventually filled part of the area with stone to provide a solid base for the wall. The wall was curved to match the lake/land point and the tops were matched around the entire wall. What I liked is that when one solution didn't work, he tried another and since it was a fixed bid, he didn't charge additionally. Once the wall was complete his team focused on the other areas. They were always on time and professional landscapers. Some of this required some very tough work. Mario was polite and guided his crew well. After sodding the back, it looked so nice, we decided to do the front. I was amazed when I saw the finished product. Now, we have hired them for full lawn care and having their home group clean our gutters. Brent was very communicative on both email and text which I really enjoyed. I would highly recommend their services.

I must say that I was significantly less than impressed with Agape. They had me scheduled for Friday May 8th, 2015 and they never showed up. My wife and kids waited at home all day for them to show or call and nothing! They did show up the next day, Saturday May 9th, 2015 unannounced, not even a call. When they got there, there was no apology or even recognition that they blew us off the day before. While the cleaning of the windows was quite good, they cleaned the screens inside the house which dumped bugs and mold all over the floors and counter-tops. They didn't even bother to try to clean it up. I got a call from Angela on Monday May 11th, 2015 because I had called on Friday and left a message requesting they call back as soon as possible. When I told her what happened she said that boss had gone home sick on Friday and that must have been why we were blown off (my words, not hers). Angela then stated she would contact her boss to inform him and then get back to me. Guess what, nothing again! I'm not big on leaving negative reviews and I must say I'm surprised at the lack of professionalism and responsiveness considering the rave reviews for them. Sorry, but I can't recommend them.

Very nice people to work with. Small issue with arranging a time for the crew to be here. I needed to know when they were coming in order to leave the light bulbs out for them to change. They came without letting me know, so the next day they were back to change the bulbs. Great job and very nice people.

They called however the service was not preformed due to scheduling issues between us. We have sent emails for a refund and have not had a response. I want the $95 refunded which was paid through the DEAL.....

Angie's list asked if Agape contacted me. I replied No and I still have not received a refund or service. Actually, who wants service after all of the issues I have incurred.

Agape provides year round lawn maintenance for my property, and I chose them for this job based on their excellent quality of work and their professionalism, as well as a very reasonable estimate that was provided by Brent. My goal was to have a nice patio and to cover all the beds and natural areas in the back yard in order to have as little exposed dirt as possible with multiple dogs. He was sensitive to my need to have the patio completed in 1 day so that the dogs could go into the back yard. Brent came out with Mario and the rest of the crew on the first day to make sure they understood what we had agreed upon for the work. They had to remove a DIY stone patio and move those stones to the back of the yard. Mario and his crew worked hard all day and a couple of hours after dark to get the patio to the point that I would be able to let the dogs out. They came back early the next morning to put the finishing touches on the patio and to spread the mulch and pine straw. They carefully measured and graded the patio so that the slope would be just right for water drainage. They cut the pavers with precision, and the patio is absolutely gorgeous. They placed mulch in all the beds around the patio and created a natural area. They spread pine straw in two large natural areas, and transferred some soil from one corner of the yard to another area of the yard. I was pleasantly surprised to find that they used extra pine straw and mulch to cover some additional beds and natural areas. I no longer dread letting the dogs out into the yard when it's raining. Not only that, I love going into the back yard now and seeing how beautiful it looks. Brent and his crew did an exceptional job, and hiring them for this work is one of the best decisions I've made.

The company was late, but they were very professional and did a great job!

They did a fantastic job!!! I caused the only problem by not reading the fine print. The service was for 20 windows, I had 31! ooppss! everthing above the 20 cost $8.00 per window. Shame on ME! But once again, They did a fantastic Job!!!

When we finally got it scheduled, sort of, they did a great job. Good attention to detail, polite, efficient. However, the scheduling was an issue. The first appointment was cancelled at the last minute because they had gotten backed up earlier in the day. We tentatively rescheduled for 5/4, but they were supposed to confirm. They didn't, and the crew showed up at 7:50AM. They were very apologetic and made things right, and overall, I would use them again. But would be mindful that they may not be the most organized when it comes to logistics.

They did a good job cleaning the gutters.

We purchased an Angie's Big Deal for Agape to provide a landscape consultation and design. We were looking for a unified approach and pricing so we could develop a road map for re-doing our yard starting last Fall. He came out and took photos. We received a very generic draft landscape design that had some of the features we wanted but needed a lot of fine-tuning. There was a point when I did reach him and he admitted they had lost our emails or designs or something. He was very apologetic and sincere. I then was sidelined by an illness and did not go beyond the initial response for months. When I tried to resume contact the response was very irregular. I might get one returned call or email but then no followup. We again got sidelined and didn't press. My husband tried to re-engage in March. Similar response. Got one returned email asking when he could come out. My husband responded with dates and times but we have not heard another word from them. At least a year has gone by since we purchased the Big Deal. Is it possible to just get a refund? I'd like to move on to someone who wants to work with us. I would probably prefer this rating did not go public. He might do good work if you can get him to engage.

I have used Agape Lawn Care. That service was very well. It took them probably only an hour and a half to do that. The area was very good when they finished, it was very well done. The price would be a little expensive.

hector and his partner were excellent! They perform in a professional manner with the highest quality. In fact they were given a tip amounting to half of the deal price. they respected our home by removing their shoes without being told they also wiped down the screens and sill and not only replace them they replaced the furniture. After scheduling an appointment to have someone come out to provide an estimate on services, I took off early from work to meet the person at my house. No one showed up at all, and I didn't receive a phone call. The next day I called and asked if they were planning to come out. The lady on phone was very apologetic and said she would make sure someone would come out that afternoon. Again, no one showed up, and I didn't receive a call. With that type of customer service and lack of consideration for my time, I would not recommend this company to anyone.

Was through a deal on Angieslist. They came out and looked at our property and took measurements. Discussed what we were interested in and provided some ideas of their own. Actual design was sent later .. Maybe 5 weeks. Liked what they provided.

I found them via Angie's List and they have been my lawn care in Hillsborough now since 2012. I have been at two different residences I am renting here and they have been my lawn care company. They are great. They are very open minded. I haven't used them as much as others might. They are responsive and kind. When it rains they absolutely come as soon as they can. They are very professional. They do such a great job. I see other people who are cheaper, who are sort of independent laborers, who I could probably save money with every week but their professionalism and reliability makes me know that the fact that I pay probably $15 more a week than I would with somebody else, it is a piece of mind quality kind of thing, and agape has that. Their staff are very nice and so is the owner. I will text him and he texts me back. It might not be right away because they have got hundreds of clients but I have his number and I text him sometimes. It is just great service. They have picked up service again for the spring. It is $45 and it is about half acre property. I have used them not only for lawn work but they also came and pressure washed my house last October. It was a really reasonable price. It was about $120. They pressure washed the house and did the windows. I have lived here for about a year and a half. It looked like the house had been painted. It was fabulous. At my other house, it was an acre property and it was $90 a week and that was one of the reasons I didn't stay there because I am a slack and I am not going to do the lawn.
