Agape Lawn Company and Greenway Irrigation

I couldn't be more pleased. They were extremely responsive each time we communicated. The deployed technicians were courteous, professional, competent and friendly. The price charged for the services rendered was fair. I would hire them again without any reservations. They really earned my support. I wish all the people who worked on my home was as good.

Had to wait a week for an appointment with the manager for a time between 1 and 5pm to have someone come out to give me a "paid" (no free) estimate for repairs that I detailed to the manager in an email. On the day of the appointment at 2pm, I called the office to confirm that the appointment was still on. I was told the manager was in a meeting but should be getting back to me at 3pm. At 4pm with no call from the manager, I called again and was told again that the manager will be notified and that I should be called back shortly. Finally at 4:15pm the manager called me and was surprised that the worker hadn't called me and said that he should have been on his way. At 4:41 the worker finally called me and apologized and said that he was on his way to turn on the sprinkler system. I told him that, that was impossible as the system needed repairs which he said would be done without knowing what I had detailed to the manager. At 5:16pm without the worker in sight, I called and cancelled the appointment after wasting my afternoon. Their total lack of customer service has convinced me to stay away from them and find a company that cares about their clients.

I used Agape back when you could get just lawn treatments without lawn maintenance. 2015-2016. My yard looked good for a while and I liked their services. As the months went on into 2016, though, I noticed the yard growing weeds, losing grass, and looking bad. I e-mailed Agape 6+ times to make sure that they were servicing the yard. Each and every time, I was told that they were. I have the e-mails to prove it. After 9 months of this, one of the representatives finally said that Agape had not serviced my lawn since January 2016. This was after 6+ confirmations that they were continually treating my yard. I sent all correspondence that I had with the company, including the 6+ e-mails that confirmed Agape was servicing my lawn to Brent, the owner, in September 2016. After multiple follow-ups to that e-mail, Brent apologized and offered a free treatment of the yard. Nothing to fix the problem. Not a high value service like aeration and overseeding. Just a basic spray for a completely destroyed lawn that before that was full, lush, and beautiful. Brent then stopped responding to my e-mails. He would not answer my calls. The End. Unfortunately, I see another review in here that indicates the lady experienced this exact same problem in 2013. Wish I had read the reviews before hiring.

We have a septic system in the lawn so the Agape team had to work with county office for approval. Agape handled the communications and paperwork and finally was able to secure permission to install the system. I appreciate Agape working through the review and approval process which took longer and required more interaction than was anticipated

They scheduled our service quickly since it was pretty late in the season. They were very professional and prompt. We will definitely use them again.

Very well except for speed of City of Raleigh in installing water meter. Has slowed Greenway down --no fault of theirs.

They were on time and performed the work in a very professional manner. I am not used to pleasant experiences when I need repair work done but this was a good experience from start to finish. I could not have asked for more and my irrigation system was repaired and is now working better than ever.

They used an inferior sod product which was grown on green plastic netting and which now is imbedded in the front and side yards despite the grass all dying. THEY SHOULD HAVE TOLD ME ABOUT THIS AND THE FACT THAT WITHOUT AN IRRIGATION SYSTEM, SUCCESS WITH THE GRASS WOULD BE HIGHLY UNLIKELY! Within a year the grout material used between the pavers has deteriorated significantly and many of the plants they put in have died despite regular watering.

Agape Lawn Company has been tremendous to work with, with the installation of a sprinkler system and new sod of an entire yard after sprinkler install! Brent was extremely responsive through the whole process along with his team of Sam, Mark, Jesus and anyone I may have missed. All of the crews that were involved with my project were extremely professional, prompt and meticulous. We would recommend to anyone that needed a sprinkler installed or new lawn to work with Agape. We have also decided to move our lawn service to them as well.

Outstanding in all respects! I coordinated the initial on-site review and cost estimate with Brent Droege, who had his project estimator show up on time on the date we agreed. Oscar was very thorough and was very technically proficient in designing an irrigation system that met my requirements to cover the entire lawn, without irrigating the sidewalks or road. The price quote was extremely fair and Agape had received numerous good reviews on Angie's List, so I hired them to install my irrigation system. Mr. Droege had his team of professionals show up on time and ready to work. They removed my old, inadequate irrigation system and installed a completely new system that met my needs. The project took two days and i was amazed at the amount of work they were able to accomplish in this short time frame. The team leader, Jesus, was a true professional and walked/showed me how to operate the various zones, while his team fine tuned the sprinkler heads to cover all the grass, but not the sidewalks or road. I was very impressed with everything that Agape did. I have absolutely no regrets about hiring them and would do it again, if I need any further irrigation requirements.

These guys were quick to respond, offered a fair price, and did quality work.

Big project and all was handled well. Very professional and experienced. Have helped with little things that happen also. Communication is very good as well.

I have had weekly yard maintenance, but the overall clean-up has not been done yet. The yard looks much better from the weekly maintenance.

The crew was 7 hrs late, for which I missed that much time at work. The crew that came out had never done such an installation and was the lawn care service crew. They showed up with inadequate equipment and materials for the job. Because they did not have the equipment needed to lift the boulder they gouged my driveway. The owner did come by afterward to see the installation. He acknowledged and apologized for all the mishaps but did not offer any compensation. He seemed to think that his company being busy that was a legitimate excuse for poor workmanship. I will never hire them again and would not recommend them.
