Description of Work: Brent made an appointment to come to the house the evening of 5/14/2013. At the the appointment, I asked him to confirm that the big deal included a complete landscape design as the Big Deal advertising said. He said no, the design would include just specific projects that he would provide quotes on. The next evening, I contacted him directly by email and told him that I did not want to go forward and asked for a refund of the $99. The next day he responded by email and agreed to my request. I then contacted you via the website and was directed to complete this form. I am disappointed in what was being offered vs. what was advertised, but he handled my request promptly and professionally. I will still give him the opportunity to quote on my projects for future service - just not landscaping design.

Description of Work: After purchasing a certificate from Angie's list, I contacted the Agape for an appointment. After not hearing from them, I sent an e-mail on May 10th advising them if I do not hear from them by May 14th, I would be cancelling my purchase.

Description of Work: The Agape Lawn Company service provider contacted me before I even tried to contact him, so that was great. He showed up exactly at the agreed-upon time -- he also called to confirm, as I had requested. But once here, when he realized what I actually needed -- no major landscaping nor 3D designs, just a bit of advice about a mushy spot and some gravel placement -- he said that this was an evaluation he would normally have done for free, and he regretted that I had paid for the Angie's List offer because I needed far less than what was being offered in the deal. He suggested I ask for a refund for my coupon. He was very considerate and clearly didn't want to take advantage of me and so advised me to go this route. I called your company directly to speak to someone about the refund. I really appreciate your phone rep's courtesy when I explained what the vendor had said and the rep's willingness to help me out, as well as his appreciation of the vendor's integrity. I am probably going to use this vendor for the simple things I need, and I will continue to buy Angie's List deals as they pertain to my needs -- I have one waiting to be used right now, in fact -- but this deal ultimately wasn't something I really needed after all. Thank you for your cooperation in refunding this purchase price. I look forward to future dealings.

Did not hear from company again until April 25th when he respoonded to my email saying that he bw there the following wednesday and he would leave a note on the door. I needed a company to take care of my yard but they could not accommodate me with that. That is the reason that I would not use them again, it has nothing to do with the service that I received. I have found someone to take care of everything eliminating the need for several different contractors.

Description of Work: I would use Agape again--but--. Agape was always a bit late getting to my house. For example, if the first application was due April 1 to April 15, I'd have to email on April 14 or 15 to ask when they were coming. Just about the time I emailed to ask when they were coming, they said "oh, yes" we're coming tomorrow (or some other very near date). I never saw them although I asked for a morning or afternoon time it never seemed to work out. That is the reason I can't give them a 100% rating, but I can say 90% which is an A- Sharon Everett

Description of Work: I decided to join "Angie's List" recently after previous poor experiences with unreliiable lawn (leaf removal) providers. So I contacted Agape Lawn Services on a weekend & was quickly sent an email asking what dates were best for me. Every email sent was answered within a minute!!! Now, how many customers have that experience? The young professional owner (Brent) met with me 30min prior to see what all neded to be done. It was obvious to me that Brent is eager to provide quality service & very vested in his Company. I found him to be conscious of the customer's needs & followed through with exactly what was to be done--all in a timely manner. No one ever called me and no one followed up to see if I was satisfied. My grass looks worse then before they started. It may not be their fault but someone could have called me to tell me what I needed to do to improve my lawn. I would not use them again.

Description of Work: A team of 6 men came (including owner Brent) and worked non-stop clearing the yard of dead trees and debris. They were incredibly fast and thorough. They were respectful of the driveway and our property. They got a tremendous amount done in 4 hours. I will definitely call them again, as well as recommend their work to my neighbors.
