I scheduled the appointment on yesterday. I told him that I wanted the problem repaired when they came out. He then told me that there would be a $90.00 trip charge if he did not repair anything. If he did repair, then the $90.00 would go towards the repair. He came out today and determined that I needed a new faucet. I then asked him how much he charges to replace the faucet. He would not give me a price. He said that he will get the price for the faucet and call me back. He called back with a total price that was over $450.00. I told him that was too much. He then said that he would drop it to $450.00. I asked him again how much he charges to install a new faucet. He would or could not give me a price. I then asked him how much the faucet is. He would not give me a price for the faucet. He would only give me a total cost of $450.00. I immediately had distrust for anything that he had to say and even questioned whether he could provide quality work. I asked him about the $90.00 and I was very confused over what he was trying to say. If the total price is $450.00 then he should deduct the $90.00 from that. Needless to say, that did not happen and there was too much confusion in his explanation. Lies, maybe. A plumber should be able to break down the charges: labor price and parts price. He sounds like a shady plumber and I would not recommend him.

I was happy with the results, but I was not happy with the advertising. They sent out a contractor out. I had a clogged drain and they advertised that their prices are less than standard. I got some prices from providers and they are all around the same $225-$250 range. When I made the decision to let this company put the snake down the drain, his prices were exactly the same. They were very responsive and did a great job for their service. They were also very thorough and professional.
