Scheduled appt to see the job and give an estimate then scheduled time the following week to start. Arrived early and got the job done within the hour allotment of the deal. Very good work and professional and friendly. Highly recommended.

I sent an email request via Angie's list to ACME. ACME responded within minutes, giving me a time on Friday, as I'd requested. This was followed by a phone call. The woman from ACME said there was a technician in my area who could do it the same day, instead of waiting until Friday, and I took her up on this offer. The technicians showed up on time and diagnosed the problem very quickly. They offered me a 'full toilet tank package' at additional cost. I didn't need the package, and they did not use any 'hard sell' techniques - it really was just an offer. The supply line was replaced, and toilet was fixed in 30 minutes. From the time I sent the email to the time the toilet was fully functional was no more than two and a half hours. What a pleasure! Friendly, business-like technicians who fixed the problem quickly. I will call ACME when I need plumbing work in the future. There was a bit of confusing regarding a coupon offered on Angie's list. Angie's list had a coupon to waive the $39 service fee, and it appeared that I should be able to print the coupon and use it for the service call. ACME said they usually received an email from Angie's list when someone purchased the coupon - but there didn't appear to be anything to purchase, just a printable coupon. This appears to be some sort of communication error between ACME and Angie's list. I did not use the $39 coupon, and did pay the $39 service fee.

The service provider was prompt and courteous. My husband said he was the friendlist plumber he had ever meet.

Gary arrived on time and was thorough in his evaluation of the problem. He showed me the issue and provided alternatives. I chose to have him fix the one toilet that was having a problem and had him do the same repairs to the other toilets as preventive maint. It was my idea and not his. I am extremely satisfied and will use Acme/Gary again.

From the moment the call to Acme was made we were treated efficiently and promptly by a live and very cordial person at the receiving end. We were given scheduling options and we were told informed we'd be contacted a half hour before service would arrive (we took stand bye option). It was great to get that call. Zafran arrived on time, very professional and pleasant. Shared estimate sheet for costs and completely work extremely well. Highly recommend for future plumbing needs. Relieved to know who yo call.

Due to a leak, we found damaged flooring, sub-flooring and drywall in the upstairs bathroom. Our do-it-yourself repair job became a remodeling project. While removing sub-flooring, we broke toilet flange. Gary removed it and installed a coupling of the right length for when we install the new sub-flooring, and explained how to complete the installation of the flange and new toilet to prevent issues in the future. He also told us how to save money on the new toilet purchase.

The staff answering the phones was very pleasant and scheduled us for a next day appointment. They called later and were able to send someone the same day due to a cancellation. The technician, Gary, was very professional, showed up on time, and quickly fixed our problem. He was very clear about cost and offered a "member" program but didn't push too hard when I wasn't interested. I would recommend this provider to my friends and family.

Excellent service. The provider called as they said they would to let me know the technician was on the way. When Efren arrived the first thing I noticed was that he put on some shoe covers before entering the premises. He assessed the issue, showed me the cost from a cost list of the work to be performed and did the work. He had the part needed and quickly repaired the shower. I would highly recommend this company..

Acme Plumbing was great to deal with! We got a same day appointment, and the workmen that came out (Efram and Gary) were courteous, polite and efficient. They clearly knew what they were doing and found our problem very quickly. They were able to fix the problem by digging up and replacing about 2 feet of bad pipe. They were fast and hard workers. I would use Acme plumbing again!

They were prompt, did the work as promised, and cleaned up after themselves. Ultimately, I'm happy with everything and would use them again.

The plumber sent was on time and polite and did replace the old items inside the toilet tank. However, we were charged an outrageous $499 for the repair...we could have purchased an installed new toilet for less than this price! I will not use this company again.

They had problems being on the house but it wasn't their fault. They did okay and they went to recommend somebody else that could handle it but I'm happy with them. They were really honest because they said that they couldn't really do it.

It was okay. We did not go back to them for further work but they were okay. It was just kind of a little expensive. They felt that the water heater had to be replaced so they gave me an estimate for replacing it. They were very professional. I was happy with the service they provided.

Outstanding and Professional Services provided by Ben Franklin Plumbing's Office Personnel and Technician. I was given a designated time and was called 30 mins prior to that time. Their technician introduced himself, put on shoe coverings and explained in details the problem, costs and what my options were. Our kitchen water faucet had to be replaced. A couple of days later, I received a Thank You Card from Ben Franklin Plumbing thanking me for giving them the opportunity to meet my plumbing needs and that it was a pleasure to serve me. They are indeed THE PUNCTUAL PLUMBER and I highly recommend them and plan to use them again. Janice Woods

My wife discovered that the sewer drain was clogged when water dripped from around the backflow valve in the main line just before it exited the house. We needed it fixed quickly because raw sewage was leaking into the basement. Benjamin Franklin was able to send a plumber with 2 hours to tackle the problem. Lawrence was very prompt and professional. He quickly figured out the problem and made a simple and painless fix that cleared the clog. We called two other companies before them to see if they could come out the same day to work on this, but they could not provide anyone to do same-day service. We were very happy with Ben Franklin's responsiveness. Lawrence also explained the problem very clearly and offered some advice to avoid similar problems in the future. Would highly recommend them.

Was able to get service promptly, and Dwayne and Efrem were out at the time promised. What a team!! These guys are not only expert plumbers, but they can also advise of work outside the area of plumbing that needs to be done to solve a problem and may also be able to perform the work themselves, as was the case in this instance. Using a jackhammer to tear up concrete, knock holes through the concrete block wall that was exposed so that the faulty pipe could be accessed, removing and replacing the damaged section of that pipe, repairing other leaking pipes, repairing and sealing the damaged wall, and repairing the damaged concrete. We have used Ben Franklin Plumbing for many years and have always been absolutely delighted and never disappointed with the services they've provided, which have been many and varied. The technicians are highly trained, experienced professionals, always courteous and responsive to questions. We will continue to use them for all of our plumbing needs and highly recommend them.
