TYN-CO SERVICES IN CONCRETE

Description of Work: Poured concrete finished footing/slab for building construction and several unfinished access walkways...plus basic landscape necessities--removing shrubs and tree stumps, etc.--and grading preparation.

Description of Work: I needed a 600 square foot extension added to my current driveway along with a 60 square foot stamped, increte decorative pad for barbeque area (Ashlar slate pattern colored Terra Cotta). Jimmy Tyndall and his crew were excellent, competent and professional. Originally Jimmy was late for our first meeting for an estimate so we rescheduled for later that day. He arrived and immediately began taking measurements and calculating costs and time line. We agreed to start the job the following week.t I asked him about cost and contract. We agreed to a price (more reasonable price than others I had interviewed) and he stated we did not need a contract which made me uncomfortable. When I asked him about deposit and payment, he stated no deposit was needed and I could pay when the job was complete. Despite no contract, I figured I would not pay until I was fully satisfied. The following week, Jimmy and his 5 man crew arrived on time with a Bobcat and dump truck and immediately began removing soil and leveling the area for proper drainage. They helped roll up some of my sod I had cut but had not finished removing for later use. Every man on the crew had a job to do and did it. They began working and it was apparent they knew what they were doing. This was a professional crew and not some guy and his buddies. After leveling and installing wood side borders, they left for the day with the plan to come back the next day. They could not pour that day due to incoming rain/snow storm. The following day, Jimmy called and recommended they not pour the concrete that day due to high wind. I am not sure what wind has to do with pouring concrete, but said we could delay until the following Monday. Jimmy was willing to pour the concrete on the agreed day if I was adamant but recommended we delay. On Monday, they arrived on time and poured the colored concrete for the BBQ pad. The cement truck had to depart to rinse out and get the rest of the concrete. When it returned, the crew immediately poured the drive and leveled it to perfection. They spent the remainder of the day making sure it was perfect and even helped me pour concrete into a hole I dug for a basketball hoop install. Very pleased with the job they did. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a professional crew and not get ripped off.
