+ -1 moreAwful, irresponsible, not reliable, I paid to have them replace an attic fan high up in my attic. The fan is fixed, but it ended up costing me over $500 and 2 trips to court. Do you really need this hassle as a consumer?
Description of Work: I highly recommend that you DO NOT use this company. They will not take responsibility of damage done to your home by thier employees. The owner will not return emails when damage is done to your home to do the right thing. Dispatch of personnel is slow to non-responsive. Professionalism of staff is fair at best, they use very young, inexperienced personnel to do jobs that require due diligence and care for your home. I had one of thier employees fall through my deiling in my hallway, my 12 yo son saw his foot and insulation went everywhere! They DID NOT pay for the repairs, they DID NOT follow up to make arrangements to hire a contractor to do the necessary repairs. I attempted to contact the owner via email at least 4 times, he NEVER replied to my emails and I had to do all the clean up of his employee. I took him to small claims court, the owner was in Las Vegas at the time, he hired a lawyer. I represented myself since I had the truth on my side, it seemed cut and dry, I lost the decision because I failed to prove he was neglegent. Even though the same employee that came the first time to my home to assess the repairs needed for my original service call came the second time also, he knew where to go in my attic and even determined he needed a second guy to hold his ladder and bring OSB flooring to stablize the ladder. Any reasonable person would own up to pay for damage done on a work site, he has insurance supposedly. So why did he not do the right thing? I recommend you do not use this rinky d*** outfit. As a consumer that is. Just my opinion.

+ -1 moreIt was a shame they did not come and fix their mistake.
Description of Work: They came through my home warranty and installed a circuit breaker on Friday August 17, 2012.The breaker tripped the same night and when I called them the wife was very rudy and they never came back to fix the problem. I called CHW and they has assigned a new person to come out. Whatever you do please don't use this service or you will get lousy service and rude attitudes.

+ -1 moreUnfortunately, I can't really speak to the cost of the repair, these guys were assigned to us via our AHS warranty. But I did want to comment that we were very pleased with their service. They came at the very end of the 4-hour window, but that was ok, since I was at home anyway, and they did call to let us know when they were on their way. We had them take a look at our attic fan which was not working. Turns out the blades were chewed up and the motor burned out. They went right out to the truck and brought in a new attic fan. The entire casing wouldn't fit into the hole, so they pulled out the motor/blade assembly and just replaced that part. I was perfectly happy with it, it works now! The work took them about 45 minutes to complete. They were friendly, fast, and seemed to know how to work with the warranty company, which can be a pain with the wrong contractor. They were careful to make sure the work they did would be covered by the warranty. It wasn't a big job, but I appreciate what they did for us!
