Horrible customer service bad attitude. delivered my metal building all scratched up and window broken then tryed to drive away as if I was not going to notice. one side of my door does not lock because bad instalation. had to get 3 surveys spent over 5000 to close permit something they do not tell you.

Horrid! Don't waste your time or money.

The installation looks sloppy. The left side is off 1 inch from top to bottom. The right side is pretty square. The blame the building. The problem is that I asked them to erect the building to conform to the container and they would not. What ever happened to the customer is always right?

Three men arrived on the day they were expected with a trailer filled with building supplies. Only one spoke much English but he appeared to be in charge of the crew. The men quickly informed me that they could not put up the carport because our cement drive had too much of a slope. This came as a big surprise as the representative had not expressed any doubt but that the carport would go up. After several phone calls to Carolina carports in which they said they could not do anything about it as "they could not see my driveway from North Carolina", the men decided that they could take the building material back and would return with longer poles for the back of the carport and then it could slope toward the front and would be just fine. That seemed sensible to us and they assured us they would explain it to the people in North Carolina. Well, the new materials never arrived, the people at Carolina Carports did not seem to have heard of this plan when we called to ask when our new materials would come. It seemed as if the young men never reported to them what they had promised us. At this point my husband decided to try a local dealer and that company installed a carport without any problem. The cost was the same as Carolina Carports and it looks great. Wish we had gone with them initially but our daughter had dealt with Caroiina Carports and had been satisfied with their work. The next problem, and the reason we are really upset with Carolina Carport, is that they refuse to refund our deposit. They claim that their local agent (Jeff) did not give them the money and did not work for them. The fact that we have the "agreement" on their paperwork as proof that we paid the deposit did not persuade them to refund our money. Jeff was also the man who worked for Carolina Carports when our daughter had her carport installed. We have tried to call Jeff (he has a last name, of course, but I won't use it) and he does not return calls. At first he did not even have a voice mail and he did return one call, saying "someone from this number called me". When I said "Jeff, you work for Carolina Carports?he replied "no more" and hung up. He did finally set up a voice mail and my husband has left messages but he does not call us. We do not understand why Carolina Carports could not put up a carport since the local company was able to do so without any difficulty, but that was their decision to make. We really do not understand why they don't feel they need to return our deposit or why they are not responsible for the man that came to our house, took measurements and ordered the materials. Obviously he was working for them under some kind of contract. We told Carolina Carports that I would write a bad review for Angie's List. We will also tell the RV business that originally recommended them to us about our experience. And I will write a good review for the company that did install our carport.

It took very long for them to install the carport. They gave me a date of July 28 to come out and install the carport. They called me before the 28th to let me know that they would not be able to come out because of a storm. They said they would reschedule the appointment for the following Thursday, I took the day off and they called me to say that they would not be coming because their truck broke down. They recheduled the appointment for Saturday the 2nd, they called again to let me know that they would not be coming out because of the storm. They rescheduled the appointment once again for the following Monday, I left work early to meet them there. The driver called me and notified me that he would be there in 30 minutes. The driver ended up showing up late because he said he got turned around and had the incorrect address. When they came to install the carport one of the workers were smoking which I told them that I did not allow smoking on my property. They told me that the car port would take an hour to install which it took 4 hours for them to finish.

It leaked like crazy from everywhere, got on a ladder and looked at the roof, they installed about half of the bolts crooked and they couldn't seal. Also one of the trusses was two inches shorter than the rest causing the metal not to properly overlap each other and leaked plus left a big dip in the roof. Called them and complained, they gave every excuse in the book, said it would be 4 weeks before anyone could even come look at it because it was in Florida and they only send crews there when they have enough orders for a given area. I stopped payment on the check with reason given at the bank, THEN they wanted to contact me about the carport. They sent someone out and they admitted to what they did but still refused to fix it saying I voided the warranty by building a tool shed next to it. (it was a detached shed) After many calls and arguments they offered to leave the materials and I could install the new truss and a new roof myself. REALLY??? I told them if I was up to the task of doing that I would have built it myself in the first place. They told me there was nothing else they could do then they sent the sheriff's office to my door with the claim I wrote a bad check (full knowing I had cancelled it) I had to go to court and explain what happened and show them the paperwork printed from the bank showing I cancelled the check and my reasons and also showed my phone records of all the calls to the company. It was thrown out of court and I never paid them, all they got was my original 10% deposit. *NOTE* Not a single guy on the crew spoke English!

It looks great and they finished the job within an hour.

I was very impressed with Carolina Carport Inc. The service was great. They arrived when they said they would, even in the snow.

They said the ground was not level within 4to 6 inches. This is not true. they misrepresented the facts and did not do the job as agreed until we complained to yor service. work completed ok.

After paying a 10% deposit to the local dealer and picking my size, colors and options ( I used the one on 58 Hwy. to place my order just because it was closer) Beautiful carport..It was up in about an hour. Very happy with all aspects of this purchase.

PURCHASED THE BUILDING now the building finally settled work is needing done to it as fixing gaps IN THE DOORS and the company will make a appt for them to come out but they never do then ack like they care but they dont once they have your money there done with you they dont stand behind there work customer service is invisible DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOU LIKE HAVING MIGRANES i found 48 reports with the BBB and there BBB rating is a F i would not recommend this company to my worst enemy just a shady company does not do what they will keep making excuses for there guys not coming back to finish the job until you finish it yourself, this company needs to go out of business i think Hitler had more people skills and honesty than this company and Hitler was the worst person to ever walk the face of this earth DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY THEY ACT NICE AND PROFESSIONAL UNTIL THEY HAVE YOUR MONEY THEN YOU WILL GET THE SHAFT LITERALLY WORST COMPANY IN THE U.S.A

We are 100 percent happy with our purchase, and the process, from start to finish was quick and easy! The local dealer in Piney Flats TN was polite, knowledgeable, and took the time to answer our questions. The crew that came to set it up was professional and efficient. The price was very good too!

On original day of delivery I recieved a phone call that the installation crew would be late from the promised time of noon. They company employee stated that the installer's truck had broken down, thus being late. They also wanted me to pay in cash as the crew had no credit cards and needed the cash to pay their way home to N Carolina. I agreed to pay $100 and the rest by check. At 7:45 at night the installers called and let me know they would not be making their delivery. The man who barely spoke english told me they had been very busy and could they come in the morning at 6:30. I stated that I would prefer after noon as we had a funeral to go to. At 8:30 they showed up at my door to argue about the time of install. after 20 minutes we all agreed to 9:00 in the morning. At 9:45 we left for the funeral home with no installers on site. They came while we were at the funeral. They installed and setup the wrong carport, right color wrong style. By the time we came back from the funeral we saw the last truck leaving the neighborhood, no bill and several missed screws and tie down bolts. Called and emailed with absolutely no response until a man called wanting to know where the payment was. I asked about the emails and my problems. He said he didn't know or care about that stuff, he just wanted payment after he let me have the address we sent the check. Terrible company, never will do business with them again.

Well, when I called to setup the date for install, I was transfered around to several people. The woman I finally talked with was very rude & degrading to me. I finally got the date set. The installers showed up (3 hispanic men of which only 1 barely spoke english) and started the work. They completed this job in about 4 hours. My wife paid them and they left. When I arrived home from work, I found hundreds on screws all over my driveway & yard, large scrap metal pieces and metal shards everywhere. Also, the color that I had ordered was a lot lighter than what was installed (I matched it to a piece on siding from our house). After multiple calls to this company, talking to 3-4 different people, all of which knew nothing about the other person, I was pretty much told too bad, thats what I ordered and thats it. They did come back and replace the walk-through door that was dented up really bad. We have also had several rain storms since then, nothing major, just rain, and we have found that the roof leaks and get condensation really bad inside. After all this, I now have a garage that does not even come close to matching my house.
