I found it odd that a painting company could have such glorifying reviews, but now I see why. Not only is their work top notch, but Randy's team and the contractor he suggested for carpentry work were the nicest and cleanest group of guys I've ever had the pleasure to work with. They called to check in, let me know when things would be finished, allowed me to change from my original requested plans. My husband and I both work from home so we were around them day in and day out. I look forward to having them back when we have additional work done.

They arrived and went right to work. They were great about laying drop cloths and preparing the room for painting. They worked clean and efficient with extreme attention to detail. The paint lines were straight and there was no paint mess anywhere! I love when people obsess over the details. The were able to complete the work in one day and I love the way it turned out. I am planning on having them back ASAP!

We have owned 6 homes...I have never been more impressed with a painting contractor. Randy is honest, reasonable, and his crew is amazing!

This was the third job that Randy's team completed at our home. Previous projects included both interior and exterior work. As usual, the team was punctual, professional and the results look terrific. I highly recommend R&R and will most certainly use them again.

I contacted Randy via Angie's List, and he immediately called me back. He came out within a couple of days to assess the job and give me a price. He told me it would be 3 or 4 weeks before he could come, and he met that commitment. Randy and his crew did an excellent job with all aspects of the work. The den and foyer look great. The crew spends a lot of time in prep work, sanding and repairing flaws in the walls prior to painting. I knew from the reviews here to expect good work but I think what they did actually exceeded my expectations. One thing to be aware of is that Randy is in high demand and it might take some time to get on his schedule. In my opinion if you have the time and can plan ahead it is well worth the wait to get a very high quality job at what I thought was a very reasonable price.

R&R sanded and painted (lacquered) our kitchen cabinets recently and did a wonderful job. The experience was a positive one from initial job quote through job completion. The crew was very professional and courteous. We're very pleased with the quality of the job and are happy to know that if anything goes wrong R&R will stand behind their work.

First contact: Randy answered my first call and scheduled a time for him to stop by and provide a quote. Quote visit: Randy arrived with this daughter and did a walk through the entire project. He was extremely professional, passionate about his work and what took me by surprise is that he quoted the job ON THE SPOT! I had gotten this same job quoted with 2 different companies and I had to wait weeks to get the quote. Scheduled work: Randy was very organized. He followed up with a written quote (via email) that listed out everything we discussed. He set realistic expectations about his timeline which initially we scheduled the work to begin after my child's birthday party. Randy called with unexpected great news that he and his team could get the job done days before the party. Team: Randy arrived the day of to introduce me to his team. They were all very respectful, professional, quiet, and did a great job of leaving everything as organized as possible and areas as clean as possible (it was a 2 1/2 day project). Throughout the Job: Randy would stop by periodically to check the work. Which I thought was great. There were a couple of items Randy was not 100% pleased with the quality and asked the team to redo - something that had slipped by me - which was great to see that the project was truly protected. We did a walk through at the end of job to ensure I was 100% happy. I'd like to highlight events that happened that I feel contributes to the A+ ratings Randy and his team have: Quick turnaround in scheduling the quote Quote given on the spot Payment was not collected until the job was complete An all inclusive quote (all paint, materials, labor, etc) The owner himself supervising the job and having the client's best interest The team - all worked well together, professional, respectful, focused workers More than happy to put up floating shelves at the end of the job

Amazing. they painted ceilings to baseboards including doors and trim. 4 bedrooms, a bathroom, hallway and stairwell with railings, kitchen and living room ceilings and kitchen walls. the kitchen was an add on with the ceilings and they still finished early. We, re having more done this spring. the other bid we had was double and the guy was a space case. Randy and Danny do top notch work!

I have a bedroom that I'm redoing and needed to have repainted along with the repair of ceiling (staining) due to water damage as well as repair of a couple of areas where drywall was damaged due to water. Randy came out and reviewed the scope of the problem, explained what his crew would do, and promptly prepared a bid. On the day we scheduled the work, he brought two of his crew over, introduced them and reviewed the work to be done with them. The crew then repaired the damaged areas, sanded all the walls and painted the room. Although it was not a large room the crew worked most of the day and the result was an extremely neat and well executed job. I was very pleased that I selected Randy and feel I have found the "go to" person for all my painting needs.

The R&R team did an excellent job; the results were exactly as we had hoped and the team was courteous and polite. The job involved a two-story entryway with the adjacent staircase and upstairs hallway, including all of the crown moulding, trim and doors; the price included labor and paint. All of the moulding and trim was re-caulked (including the staircase baseboards) and the walls were sanded prior to the application of paint. I had selected R&R based on Randy's character - after I met with him I knew that this was a company I would be comfortable with being in my home and getting the job done right the first time. I highly recommend R&R and will use them again as the need arises.

Overall, Randy and his guys were good. I was hoping for a little neater job, but it is a garage after all. Price was very competitive with all other estimates that we got.

I called Randy about a townhome we had purchased for rental. He met me there the same day and provided an estimate immediately. By that evening, we had a written quote. Randy knew we were in a bit of a hurry and fit us in quickly. His crew was prompt and polite and did a great job. When the job was completed, they called to have us look over all aspects of the job. The crew was waiting with paint brush in hand to touch up anything we saw...which was nothing!! We will definitely call Randy and crew whenever we need more painting.

rlyThis the third big job I have had Randy do for me and a bigger job than the first. He had to patch cracks in various places, cover wall striping ( in some areas with three coats, cover dark colors ( which cut down on the light in a town house). I was there every day and he had usually five people working. They worked fast and they were neat, especially the ceilings.I was so happy that he got the job done early. They worked longer hours so I could move in early. I would recommend Randy to anyone. It is hard to compare prices especially when you are going from a dark color to a light color. Randy did it well and was very neat about how his crew worked. Thanks to Randy I am now in my new town house trying to get things organized.

What can I say. Randy and his crew is everything and more that you read on these reviews. They painted to perfection my ceilings, interior walls, bookshelves, wainscoting, and trim. On schedule, as planned, and the entire crew were very friendly, contentious, and professional. Not only was the painting meticulously done and beautiful in the end, after they had finished and left, later that day as I walked around excited at the overall job, apparently someone had noticed a set of blinds in a bedroom, that unbeknownst to them, I had been unsuccessful at hanging, and to my surprise, you guessed it, professionally hanging in the window! Randy is just as good as it gets! He really helped me out in various aspects of the process, was very patient, and offered solid and excellent advice at times. I could not be happier, and feel as a bonus I've actually made a new friend in the end with Randy! So don't hesitate - for painting its Randy and R&R Painting NC LLC !!!

I contacted and received four bids for this job. I was impressed from the start with Randy's professionalism and obvious knowledge regarding painting. His price was fair and the work was done on time and as promised. The team went above and beyond anything I could have expected. They were on time, clean, professional, friendly, and expert painters. We could not be more pleased with the work that was done. I think the value we received was excellent and I would use R & R painting again in a heart beat. I would also recommend Randy to anyone looking for a professional painting job. Randy even helped me choose the color of our paint. Additionally, he helped me secure a carpet cleaner who worked out great. If you need a painter for inside or outside your home or business R & R painting is the one to choose. Trust me, you will not be disappointed.

It went very well. Randy was very responsive and provided a very reasonable quote. I wanted to provide a deposit for materials and would not take it. He said I can pay him "when I was happy with his work". I think the job was a bit more than he anticipated but stuck to his original quote. Dealing with R&R was a welcomed throwback to the way business used to be done everyday. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone looking for his type services.

Beautiful paint job, including a tricky tray ceiling rim in master bedroom. Randy and his staff went above and beyond anything I could have expected. They were professional, courteous, and definitely customer-first. Cleanup was as much a priority as the painting. The painters obviously cared about the quality of their work. Very nice people. Final cost matched the estimate. Very reasonable price.

Randy and his crew were always on time. The crew was very professional and always cleaned up after each days work. They did a great job. It was a pleasure working with R&R Painting.

A few issues coordinating schedules, but it all came together in the end. Randy sent Danny out on one day to patch all the drywall and get the walls prepped, then Danny came back a week later to prime and paint. Randy was happy to let my wife and I remove all the wallpaper from the walls before his guys came in to do the work. Two weeks later, and the master bath looks so much better than it's 1990s motif.

Randy was very prompt on his return call of the initial contact. He came out the next day to give us an estimate, which was very detailed and professional. Reviewed the quote and agreed on a price and time for completion. Made a trip out to furnish sample colors to choose from. Once on site, the color we chose did not meet his approval. He promptly got a sample and returned to the store for the right color. In my experience, not many contractors take the path he did with regard to making sure he did the job like it was his home. I was extremely pleased with getting that phone call and the finished product exceeded our expectations. Would definitely use him again and refer to anyone needing a quality job at a reasonable price. He was very conscientious about his work and making sure he exceeded expectations. He actually did a couple other little items that needed to be done and did not charge extra. Once the job was completed, he called to check on my opinion of the work. I told him I would check when I got home and asked him for payment information. He made the comment, "make sure it meets or exceeds your expectations and we will discuss that information at that time". He was more concerned about our expectations than getting paid and in my opinion, that says a lot about a contractor. Very pleased with this choice.

Randy and his team were terrific! Randy was very helpful in reviewing our project needs. He took the time needed to review each area of work and had great suggestions regarding products to use. The interior and exterior work was performed with excellence. The crew was timely and professional. I will plan to use R&R again in the future.

I called Randy and his team after I hired a different contractor (a GC instead of a painter) who did an awful job an left my house a mess. He was fired and Randy and his team especially Terry and Les, came in and made the house look great again. They fixed the other contractors mistakes, repainted most rooms and trim, and painted all the bathroom cabinets to update the house. I highly recommend R and R painters; they are professionals at a very fair price. All the guys are super nice and polite. I was pleased with their timeliness and work ethic, as well as their knowledge on how to do the job correctly. Do not make the mistake I did, call Randy and he will take care of you. Once again, I highly recommend R and R painting.

Provided excellent service even though I contacted them at the last minute. Very reasonable rates- less than half the cost of other painters. Room looks excellent.
