Proformance Turf

We only saw him for 4-5 months during 2016. None during 2017. We paid $150.00 per month on a year long contract. When I phoned to ask where he'd been, he was busy. When I cancelled our agreement, he said "good, thanks". Extremely unprofessional and negligent. This service, or lack thereof, was a complete disappointment.

Proformance Turf is a great company! I have waited to do this review so I could see how my lawn did after several treatments. 3 or 4 have been done up to this point. I have used some of the national lawn care companies in the past and have not been very impressed. Decided I would support a local company this time and very glad I did. I started late but I signed up for an annual lawn schedule and have seen a great improvement in my lawn this year. The owner has been great to work with and plan on continuing to use them.

The provider did not fulfill my Angie's List purchase because he said that it was outside of his service area. I live on the Charlotte/Mint Hill border and was presented with this offer for 3 lawn service treatments. I purchased the offer on 3/22/16 and, using the Angie's List site, requested that the service be performed at their earliest convenience. I was immediately given a phone call and told that these services would not start until April and I was ok with that. I later received an email from the provider acknowledging the purchase and providing his website. It is now 4/18 and I called this morning to ask when the service would be performed. When I asked about the service timeframe, the owner asked me where I lived. After I gave him my address, the owner was rude on the phone and told me that I wasn't in his service area and that it would cost him over $200 to send someone to fulfill my purchase for a profit of $4.00. I told him that we had spoken earlier, he had given me the timeframe of April and then sent me an email... why, all of a sudden, will he NOT fulfill my purchase? He was very rude to me on the phone and so I just hung up. He then called me back and continued to be rude to me. I tried again to explain that he had already reached out to me, gave me the impression that he would perform the service, that he's had my address since my purchase back in March, etc... I finally had to hang up again because he was yelling at me and telling me that he wasn't going to send anyone and that it would cost him too much money. I would NOT recommend this vendor to a friend simply due to the way he conducted himself on the phone with me.

It was great! Very quick and efficient service! I hardly knew they were back there during the work! Very reasonable pricing as well.

It did not go as well as expected. I was quizzed over what I expected the company to perform. The Service Provider then explained to me that he was unable to perform those duties, in a manner that was condescending. The Service Provider then explained that I would need to sign up for additional services in order to get what I needed complete, that were not part of the Big Deal.

Proformance was extremely responsive to my call and questions about services. Jon came out the same day to see my property and provide an estimate. He left us an assessment sheet identifying all of the different types of weeds and grasses we had and things that he would be managing. He was fair and transparent about pricing. Was able to schedule our 1st lawn service the very next. Proformance offers a range of services (weed/turf management, aeration/seeding, Holgranix(TM). We opted for 7x/year lawn fertilization and weed control. Looking forward to working with Proformance Turf.

The promptness and response is incredible. I heard from him off a referral from a friend and have been extremely impressed. Cannot wait to have a great looking lwan!

After having some unpleasant experiences with King Green, John was extremely helpful, pleasant and appreciative of our business. He listens and helps you decide what's best for your lifestyle/family. You can tell right away he truly cares about your business. We are looking forward to our first service and learning how they can help us with our yard needs.

I look forward to a great experience with this knowledgeable young man He offered to start the program in my yard within three days of our meeting as he was going to be in my area. That is fast service!
