PERSONAL TOUCH INTERIORS

I had worked with PTI Designs and Tracie Johnson in 2007, when I paid her more than $40,000 for various projects for my Lake Norman home. At that time, I was very happy with her -- she was highly professional, very creative and delivered value for her $150 per hour design fee. I had a much different experience in late 2013 when I hired Tracie to help me get bedding and towels for my new mountain house. She was very disorganized and never seemed to have time to address my needs (other projects, family priorities, etc.). She showed me a line of bedding that I really liked. It turned out that the bedding was discontinued, but she said she could still get it. I called, emailed and texted her numerous times to see if she could help me place the order, and she never responded. It was like I was dealing with an entirely different person than the person I had worked with in 2007. Her hourly design fee is much lower now, but her services do not come close to justifying her lower fee. I would have rather she had just said that she didn't have time for my project. And the fact that she didn't bother to respond to my calls, emails and texts is inexcusable.

Tile ordered for our home through this company. not all items paid for were delivered; insufficient amounts ordered for several rooms. Most frustrating and disappointing was the lack of customer service to remedy the situation. Designer is blaming us for mistakes despite her order form and her tiles sketches being different. Cost to Value ratio is completely upside down with this provider.
