He told me he had not done those types of shelves, but if I was willing to allow him to look at the directions shipped with the materials and allow for the first one taking a little more time that the pace would pick up. It was very hot in the garage, but he indeed kept up the pace. The end result was a quality installation, completed on time and at the quoted price. Highly recommend Ken as he is personable and focused.
Description of Work: Ken was one of three called for estimates and he impressed me over the phone. I needed to have extensive garage overhead garage shelving installed and had already purchased the materials. It required a lot of overhead work on a ladder that I did not want to deal with.

I asked him to give me a quote on another job and he was very honest in telling me that he couldn't do the job, but recommended someone else. He went above and beyond, was very nice, and I would recommend him to anyone.

(There were big holes in the wall after he removed the previous towel bars.) He was always on time, courteous, and worked around my busy schedule. I will most definitely contact him again when I need other handyman services!

Description of Work: Ken is great. Shows up when he says he will and gets the work done right the first time. He is very precise in his work. I had a very long "honey do" list and he completed all the tasks efficently and effectively. He made a fabulous doggie door for my screened porch exactly to the way I described I wanted it made. Now I am happy and so are my dogs!!!! I have had many handy men over time but Ken is a real keeper. I feel lucky to have found him.

+ -1 moreFrom my original phone call on Monday, August 23rd, he scheduled an estimate convenient to me after work on Thursday, August 26th. We went through my "laundry list" of repairs. He checked the measurements of the windows to make sure I purchased the correct size blinds and even fixed a door knob that had fallen off right then (as well as tighten up another knob). The repairs were completed on Monday, August 30th as scheduled. I was pleased with the whole experience which only took 1 week from my initial call. Ken called the following day to make sure I was happy with his work, which I really appreciated. He did an excellent job and I definitely will call him in the future.
Description of Work: Ken re-cemented a stone step which had come apart from the outside front staircase . He remounted two outside faucets to the house. The bolt for the shower door frame had pulled out of the wall and Ken anchored a new bolt into the stud which allows me to close the shower door properly. He also installed plantation blinds on five windows and Roman shades on 4 other windows. And as a "bonus" he fixed 2 door handles at the time he came for the estimate.

+ -1 moreKen did an excellent job. He came promptly at the appointed time and commenced to work immediately. He cleaned up after himself including vacuuming the areas of work. He is quite friendly and likeable and we felt completely comfortable with him in the house. He went the "extra mile" in doing his job well and checked a couple of other items with no extra charge. I will definitely hire him again for any tasks needing done.
Description of Work: Installed two two-bulb motion sensor security lights in two areas in the eaves of the house and installed a switch in the attic for both. Also, he installed a mirror in a bathroom.

+ 0 moreThis man is very friendly and personable as well as professional. He arrived on time, each time he visited. He gave a quick and very fair estimate of the work to be accomplished. He finished the work in a timely manner, taking down the shutters, fixing the siding, and installing the ceiling fan in one visit. Next, he came back to replace the shutters after we finished painting them. (He would have done this for us, but we wanted to do it to save money.) He came back in a timely manner, and put them up quickly. He was willing to work with us on payments, paying some upfront and the rest within a month.
Description of Work: Replaced and fixed siding close to the roof on second story. Took down stuck shutters, put up all shutters on house with new hardware. Installed ceiling fan.
