The owner Martin , made a commitment to come to home per his schedule, which was fine. When Owner called to set appt. I informed him I misunderstood his services and no need for appt. After discussion the Owner stated he does projects as I described. Once he came to view project he noted challenges to what I needed. In all fairness the work area did have some limited challenges. After visit for estimate he stated he needed to discuss w/ another provider a potion of the job he could not do before he could give an estimate. He assured me he would f/u with me asap. I waited for 5 days w/ no f/u. I called him and he stated he was waiting for the other provider's info. He assured me he would have an estimate in the near future. The initial contact was 02/13/20, my f/u contact was 02/17. He stated waiting on the other provider he needed . He stated he would check with that provider the next day for the info. Today is 03/24/20. I have not heard ANYTHING from Martin since my f/u to him on 02/17/20. Martin, It is ok to tell a potential customer you are unable to do the job. Martin lack of professionalism not to mention common courtesy is surly lacking. It is ok to say a job is above your skill level or other reason you cannot do a job. My experience truly shows the lack of integrity of Martin as a business owner and person. He truly deserves a big fat "F".

This is the second time I've had Martin and his team come and do work. The first time was in May, 2016 when he installed about 300 feet of curbing. I had him return this month to extend an existing curb and install a new section. Very pleased with both projects. The work done two years ago has stayed in place and continues to look good. I gave Edgewise an "A" in price, although I couldn't find any other local competitor to get a competing bid. I was comfortable with the 2016 cost (about $3000) and this recent job ($650). Also, I gave Edgewise a C in responsiveness; it did take them some time to get back to me. An email left through the company's website was not returned, and it took them a few days to return a phone message. I get the impression they are just flat out with work. After telling Edgewise I approved their proposal, I got an install date that was 3-4 weeks out. On the morning of the install date, I got a text message saying they were on their way and they showed up exactly on time. Install and clean up was good. I will attempt to add some photos after I finish installing mulch and plants. I had a good experience with Edgewise Curbing and recommend them for this type work.
