+ 0 moreTerrible experience. I will never hire them again. I hired someone else on Angie's List for the water softener who got back to me and completed the work before Denver Plumbing could find the time to call me back.
Description of Work: We have used Denver Plumbing in the past and have found them to do good work but they are not responsive to requests and go silent on multiple occasions. We recently asked for a quote on a water softener and it took 2 calls from me to get them to call me back and it was a full 8 days before we received a return phone call.

He said, "We're right there so I'll stop." The reason that they really got here promptly is because I had called them as they were driving and they said they were coming right after where I live. If I have any problem and I need them, I would use them.

They gave me options for equipment and discussed the pros and cons of different systems. The install itself went incredibly smoothly and was very quick. In fact, the installers reduced the actual price I was quoted given that the install did not take as long as expected. I greatly appreciated this since it demonstrated a great deal of honesty. I would recommend Denver Plumbing to friends and family.

+ -1 moreWent very well. The guys showed up and quickly diagnosed the problem. Then proceeded to clean the pump tank out and tested all the floats to make sure it worked. Also educated me on the need to clean the unit a couple times a year.
Description of Work: Cleaned out grinder pump which failed to turn on due to build up of grease and other gunk on the floats. This caused a sewage backup into the house.

+ -1 moreGREAT! I noticed a developing leak on the hot water heater Thursday evening that could wait. On Friday around mid morning I contacted Scott as I had his Cell from a prior consult. He advised he was in the middle of a job but would call me back soon which he did. I explained my problem and he told me someone had cancelled a job and that he might be able to take care of me that day. He volunteered to come by and look at what I needed as he was working fairly close. Scott sized up what I needed and went on to another job that had been prescheduled. I figured that was it for the day. WRONG! Scott called back at 2 pm and said he was ready to head my way. Quick service, courteous, knowledgeable, neat work and cleaned up behind himself. Definitely hard to find that combination these days.
Description of Work: Replaced a 40 gallon electric water heater with a 50 gallon model and reset a commode that needed a new seal.

+ -1 moreI couldn't ask for better. Jeremy and a co-worker (whose name I didn't learn) got here before expected and replaced my water heater, which was rusted out and had a dead element. They were mindful of tracking dirt and mud into the house and checked a shower which is dripping badly. The shower will be fixed in a couple of days because they didn't have specific supplies on the truck. Both guys were the nicest I have met, professional and personable. It was a pleasure having them here. Will I use Denver Plumbing again? Absolutely!! Will I recommend them to friends and family? WITHOUT HESITATION!! Thank you, Jeremy and Denver Plumbing for work well done!

+ 0 moreWhen it comes time to change filter, (near future) we didn't have product information on invoice so we had to call. We went online, then called Denver plumbing to be sure. Front office needed to go back into system to see what was installed then find filtration #. This is not terrible, but it should have been on invoice to begin with.
Description of Work: I called Denver Plumbing to have a water filter installed as sediment was coming in from well. He asked a few questions and I measured the pipe coming into the basement from well for him. Cost quoted was 250.00 and appt. was set. the Representative came was very friendly and prompt. I I showed him the pipe in basement and he stated the price would be $340.00. My husband mentioned the price we were quoted and he said "the girls misquoted" and i replied "it wasn't the girls who quoted, it was a man." Rep stated that was the owner. Anyways the installation went well, we wrote a check for the greater amount of $340.00 and stated if owner wanted to honor the quoted price he could send us the difference. Guess he didn't. The rep stated he would email an invoice which he did, however it didn't state what was installed just "service call and labor to install one inch whole house water filtration system, price $340.00."

+ -1 moreConsidering I was expecting really bad news and I never in a million years thought they would be here so quick. I would say it went perfect.
Description of Work: Amazing. I called at 8:15 and they just happened to be down the road. They arrived in about 25 minutes. Jeremy was very professional and explained to me in simple terms what was going on. Lucky for us we just need our sewer tank cleaned out. Very impressed and we now have a new plumber that we trust and like!

+ -1 moreSteve was GREAT! He was very courteous and arrived when he said he would. He thoroughly checked on my sluggish toilet and all of my dripping sinks- and tightened/adjusted what was necessary to help the problem. He replaced the cold water stem on one of the sinks and changed the washer on the outside spigot. He then went OVER AND ABOVE by researching the pressure on our water pressure gauge- only to find out that it was dangerously high!! He replaced our broken gauge without any problems and had us check on all of his work to ensure our satisfaction. This was our first time using Denver Plumbing- and if another plumbing problem comes along we will definitely use them again!
Description of Work: Provider checked on a sluggish toilet that periodically plugged up, checked on all sinks that have been dripping, worked on outside faucet that dripped.

It seems that no matter what the problem, air condition, heat etc. it bothers me when the service charge is more than 10 times for parts & labor. Still, Denver Plumbing are the people I will call with all my plumbing problems.
