We had shingles installed as well and they have lasted nearly 20 years.

Contacted Jeff Freeman's roofing seeing his high rating in Angie's list for a leak near the chimney. There office called and mentioned that there is a $50 fee for the visit and will be waived if they perform the work, which I agreed to. Jeff himself was at my house at the time agreed, looked at the issues, also commented on some sloppy work done by the previous roofer and suggested that he can correct it. Within a day I had an estimate for $2394 for a leak repair, replace roof vents and pipe collar, reset chimney cap trip and remove gutter guard. The leak repair itself was $965! My entire roof was replaced for $7000. Seeing such estimates for a leak repair, I called a couple of roofers who were working in my neighborhood to get estimates. One estimate was $300 and the other was $200. I went with the second roofer and the leak was fixed for $200. I called Jeff Freeman's office and they charged me $50 for his visit. As you can see, Jeff is very expensive. But he is very professional and seemed to do quality work. But I cant comment on his real work since I never had him do the work to the high cost.

Finished job within time period estimates. Worked everyday until completed. No damage to structure or landscaping. Very pleased with workmanship and work men.

Sent an E-Mail service request and no response in over a week. Left a voice-mail with Heather and no response after two days. Called Heather again and rolled into voice-mail again. Decided to try another vendor. I can understand if this company is so busy, but a courtesy call would have been appreciated.

Awesome work! Jeff is a very pleasant and communicative person and is willing to work with your insurance company as well as discuss many options to ascertain that your new roof is precisely what you want. His crew does solid work with new insulation and great looking tiles. The materials are high quality and this is one of the few companies that does all the work by hand. They never use nail guns, only hammers. There is a lot of attention to detail and they repair any existing cosmetic issues on and around the roof (weather worn chimney, vent covers, etc.). You know up front precisely what your cost will be and you're not pressured into buying anything you don't want or need. They took their time with the work on my roof and did a fantastic job as well as a near flawless clean up of the yard afterward. I was so impressed, I contracted Jeff and his team to replace the siding and doors on my house once the roof was done.

Placed siding on exterior of house around garage. Places aluminum around doors. Placed siding over existing cedar shingles that were not installed correctly.

Arrived on time, did an inspection of the roof and documented everything that was of concern for us. We could address the other concerns found or just the one issue we knew about. Scheduled the work, arrived on time, completed the work and CLEANED UP well from the job! We would use this company again for roofing needs. First time I can say that about a roofing company!

Roof looks awesome along with the gutters. Everything was done in a timely fashion as promised. I highly recommend Jeff for all your needs! I talked to quiet a few people about a new roof and was rubbed the wrong way by a few. Jeff made the whole process easy and simple and answered all questions we had. He always returned our phone calls if we had questions. Jeff was never pushy like some over these other "storm chasers". His pricing is right inline if not better than most. Jeff's crew also hand nails the whole roof unlike most now days which was big on our end. Remember you get what you pay for!

October 31,2013. It went very well - Jeff Freeman is one of the highest quality contractors I have experienced. Please know that my father worked in roofing for 32 years, and I also spent 4 summers working for a roofing contractor many years ago. Understanding that background, this is the highest quality roofing job I had seen for this type roof, and my wife and I are incredibly pleased that we selected Jeff Freeman Roofing. Please don't let the price scare anyone. On the original quotation, Freeman's roofing was VERY competitive with other roofing companies for standard Certainteed Pro shingles and no drip edge. 3 contractors bid $14,000 for the project, but some did not quote this high quality Certainteed shingle - and I was not sure what shingle would be put on the roof even though we requested a clear shingle specification. We wanted to use a high quality such as Certainteed Premium shingles to get the added weight shingle, plus perform a variety of other upgrades for what will be expected to be a legitimate 30 year roof. The other quoting contractors already had installed roofs on our friends homes, and each of our friends referred them and were pleased with the other contractor roofs. However, in each case, our friends' homes had their roofs installed in 1 day, but our roof project was completed in 6 days of full time work. This is just some indication of the incredible care and perfectionist work that was done on our roof by Freeman's roofing. My wife has been a Realtor in Charlotte for 21 years and she has always recommended to use Freeman's roofing as a top roofing contractor due to other Realtor comments. Additionally, Freeman's is recommended by Joe Terrell of Terrell construction - one of the best carpentry general contractors we have ever seen and who we use for a variety of work. Joe Terrell actually had his own roof replaced by Freeman's roofing. November 13, 2013. Although the project has already been 100% paid, Jeff Freeman was not pleased with a small piece of drip edge. (I was completely pleased). However, he requested our permission to correct it to his satisfaction. Where does anyone hear of a contractor who is an absolute perfectionist with the quality of his work. What an awesome vendor!!! Work was done yesterday - and I see what Jeff meant, the roof is perfect.

Work was done in a timely fashion. Quality of the work was excellent. Workers were excellent and subs were cooperative and produced a quality product. I'm completely satisfied with the work.

Our entire experience with Jeff Freeman's Roofing, Siding & Windows was OUTSTANDING! Beginning day one with the meeting and inspection, Jeff and Heather were on time, very professional, and demonstrated confidence to us as homeowners. It seemed their concern was that we were given all the facts, answering all questions upfront, and provided our quote AS PROMISED. They were interested in us - not our money like the other companies who we asked for quotes. There was one company I will not mentioned who never sent their quote after we called twice - and they are on Angie's List! Jeff and his team of roofers are second to none - we have never seen a group of professionals arrive on time every day, polite, courteous, diligent and thorough. At the end of each day, our home's perimeter was cleaned, and did not look or feel like a construction zone. Finally, at the end of the job, we had our walk-around. Jeff initially came out to take a look at our roof to see if it needed to be replaced yet. He checked it out and determined we probably had three or so more years left, but some of your pipe collars had cracked and needed to be replaced along with the other items listed above. The job was completed efficiently and the job site was cleaned up well.

Jeff was a pleasure to do business with and will certainly do business with him again in the future. From the initial call for an estimate, all through way through the final walk through, I was extremely satisfied with the entire process. The estimate process was low stress, work was scheduled in a timely manner, crew was very respectful cleaning up GREAT at the end of each day and at the end of the job. My previously clogged gutters are flowing beautifully and I have yet to find any roofing debris in/around my yard! Jeff is passionate about his work, was very responsive and accommodating throughout the whole process. He coordinated his schedule around mine and more than gracious to offer some honest advice on home improvement needs I had been considering whenever he came out. The end product was outstanding. Jeff and his crew did an outstanding job from start to finish.This started with Jeff helping us review our roofing product options available from the various manufacturers to the professional install job done by the crew. My roof has a very high pitch and is not easy to work on. His crew had no problems doing the job and nailed every shingle by hand. They also did a good job covering shrubs and cleaning up at the end of each day. This included looking for any nails that may have dropped to the ground. I did recommend Jeff Freeman roofing to two neighbors. They did use Jeff and have told me that they were also very pleased with the roof work Jeff did for them.

Removed, replaced and painted several boards of Masonite siding on the second story of the house. New flashing was installed over a bow window, which created a much nicer look than what had been there. The work was neatly done, and the work area cleaned up at the end of each day.

After discovering a leak in our roof, our insurance agent recommended John. John came out and examined our 13 yr old roof. While our shingles were in good shape, our pipe jacks and much of the sealing around vents and the chimney was cracking. This was causing a leak around one pipe and likely others would start soon. Also, we had some gutters that had been pushed away or become badly sealed at joints causing some wood rot. Jeff took pictures of all the issues and went over each one. He gave us an itemized list and said we could do all or only a few of the items. We chose to fix all the issues. His crew came out on time, did the work and cleaned up after themselves. He does seem a little more expensive than others, but the work was done well and he was very forthcoming and straightforward to talk to.

My roof was approximately 12 years old and had some wind and hail damage. It was time for a new roof. I interviewed and got estimates from three companies. Jeff Freeman's Roofing was by far the most professional. Mike LaVenture met with me and answered all of my questions and consulted on some questions I had. I was very satisfied with his knowledge and his responses. Best of all, their estimate was the lowest. When the crew came out it was obvious that they were well organized and knew what they were doing. The job took 3 1/2 days from start to finish. This compares to estimates of one to two days from others. Is quicker better? I don't think so. Freeman's Roofing was deliberate and thorough. No short cuts. I'm very pleased with the outcome. I would highly recommend this company!

I highly value people/companies who follow through on their promises so that I do not have to make endless phone calls to get the job done correctly and on time. Mike and Jeff Freeman Roofing did a great job and the whole process was as painless as possible. Mike was prompt and professional. He and the roofers arrived when they promised to and cleaned up each day before they went home. They were nice, polite, and respectful of my house and property. Mike patiently adressed my questions and concerns about the roofing process. He also followed through on some special requests that included identifying the cause of a leak in my bathroom ceiling and placing a call to my home warranty company to try and help me get partial reimbursement for the leak. After our initial consultation I requested that my storage shed be reroofed and this was added to the job with no problem and no confusion. The project was finished on time and there were no surprises when the bill arrived. I highly recommend Jeff Freeman Roofing!

They were excellent in every way. They actually reminded me of the old fashioned blue collar work ethic which you don't find too much of any more. They were very professional. Very tidy and cleaned up after themselves.

They answer their phone quickly and keep their appointments. They weren't pushy and we didn't feel any pressure to buy. They quality of the work was great.
