BYRD'S TREE SERVICE

I hired this company on my own, as they're prices were more within my budget. Very professional, and on time. Will definitely use again.

Called on a Monday and spoke to the owner. We scheduled a meeting for 5 PM the following day. He never showed or called.

I call to ask about getting an estimate on cutting down a tree. I got the answereing machine. the message said they would return my call promptly. I left all my information and I have never received a call from them.

Called David Byrd on a friday to request an estimate. He came out later the same day, walked the job and quoted a price. I agreed and he said he would probably start monday. His crew started monday with some tree trimming. Rain came in tuesday so they did not come back out till the end of the week which was still a little early because the heavy equipment rutted the yard. The crew finished the job over the next few afternoons. David came out after completion and I told him of a few minor concerns, ie couple ruts in yard, some minor cleanup issues and some limbs broken in an adjacent tree caused by felling one of the large oaks. He agreed, said he would take care of it and had a couple of his guys out the next day making everything right. Overall, pleased with the job and would not hesitate to use them again.

Said they would be here at 3 pm showed up at 6 pm. Quoted the job in the dark. Price way too high.

They showed up on the day Mr. Byrd said they would and took down all 4 trees without incident. They cleaned up afterwards and filled in holes made by falling limbs. The stumps were ground down at least 6 inches and the chips were left for mulching in around the other trees. The cost was very reasonable given the size of the trees and they were expert and professional.

About four days after calling them, Mr. Byrd came out and looked at what we wanted done and gave us an estimate. He told us he was very busy due to the reason storms but should be able to get here within the next two weeks. It was less than a week when they arrived and took care of everything in about three hours. We are very pleased with his work and will definitely use him again.

He was excellent. He showed up on time and worked himself to death. He did the work himself. His cost was low. He gave me a estimate and worked 3 days. He cleaned up and did exactly what we had talked about. He's a great guy and I would definitely recommend him. His price is very competitive and he does exactly what he says he will do.

Everything was excellent. Calls were returned promptly and he came when he said he would. Work was done very professionally. Very reasonable price for the work done.

Outstanding! This tree was very close to our home and neighbor homes, near a permanent play set and fence. David Byrd and crew of 2 carefully and professional removed this tree with damage to structures cited. Additionally, they removed ALL debris will minimal damage to yard. All this work was completed within a 1/2. Byrd Tree service came recommended by our Insurance agent and several people. They provided substantially lower estimate than all competing bids including others from Charlotte. We would strongly encourage others to consider calling Byrd Tree Service.

They came and did the work the same day they offered the estimate.

I told Mr. Byrd that I wanted to plant grass in the area so that I needed the large roots out too. I had just had a lot of work done in the immediate area (beds prepared, planted, mulched) and asked him to keep it as neat as he could. He had a HUGE grinder, but really seemed to take care not to get chips all over the place. He was done in fifteen minutes! He also came within hours of being called (He was in the area).
