ROCKENSTEIN TREE SVC

My experience with Rockenstein Tree Service was excellent. They are very careful and professional. They knew how to take down some tricky trees. People can trust that Rockenstein will do a good job. We've gotten quotes from them since then for different projects and we didn't use them because their quotes were high.

Rockenstein arrived quickly (a couple of days after our call) and worked very hard for two days. The initial quote ($1250) seemed quite good to us for the amount of work we needed. In particular, the high oak limbs were quite difficult to reach and posed a threat to the house.. They arrived late morning with a bucket truck on the first day. I did wonder why they did not show up earlier that first day, but by the end of that day they had removed all of the large limbs and trees. They were very good about trying to protect the trees and bushes we wanted saved. They suggested a number of trims/cuts, but did not pressure us to remove more than we wanted. On that first day I came home to see that they had parked the truck on the grass over my septic tank – I wish I had told them that was where it was located, but it did not seem to cause any damage (and they were both apologetic and careful when they pulled the truck off of that spot). At one point they had to remove a medium-sized maple that they had not planned to remove but they did not charge us extra for that. And when they spent a half of a day cleaning up, they mulched our old brush piles for us without charging us extra. They completed the job when they said they would (during one of the hottest and most humid spells we have ever had) and did a good job cleaning up after themselves. We ended up giving them extra money just because we were so impressed with the quantity and quality of their work. I would highly recommend them.
