Sun Realty didn't clean the property before we got there (as evidenced by the dog poop on the floor and rugs around the house) and the property itself was in major need of repairs: - hardly any of the windows opened properly - most of the screens were useless due to large holes - the porch was practically rusted through with nails - the oven has no numbers on the dial, making it virtually impossible to cook anything with accuracy - none of the beds have mattress pads (something that is supposed to come with every house) - there is no telling when the comforters were last washed - they were filthy! - the pillows provided with the house were so disgusting my family actually went out and bought our own pillows Of course the images on Sun Realty's website do not portray these issues and when we arrived and saw that the house was in disrepair, they simply told us that we signed a rental agreement and that there was nothing they could do about it. They were rude and unhelpful and completely non responsive to the awful state of this property.

We met Paul when he was was the listing agent for a different property in Corolla. His low-key approach, knowledge, and helpfulness made him our choice as an agent when we got serious about purchasing a home almost 2 years later. Throughout the process of purchasing the house, Paul was helpful, informative, and calm. His level of communication was just right - he was available, 7 days a week, when we needed him, but he wasn't pestering us needlessly. As a full-time agent, we always felt like we were his top priority. I would highly recommend Paul to anyone looking for an agent on the Outer Banks.
