+ 3 moreElectrical services were performed only average at best, but worked. The handyman services were very disorganized & very poor. Our home was damaged, newly refinished hardwood flooring deeply scratched, & our half bath toilet was broken- they removed the bowl to paint & cracked it (didn't plug the pipe & filled the home with sewer gas!). The painting was terrible, lots of poorly done trim & the caulking was very low quality. All the painting needed to be redone (didn't need to remove even the tank of the new toilet to paint!). This company has only recently gotten into the home services, handyman area- this was not disclosed to us. The total experience of the crew was one & a half weeks! They were referred as a cleaning company by the former owners & Michelle told us they "did it all". She also sent a bill for what she thought they did & I still haven't heard from her insurance or bonding company. Over priced low quality & damages to home. Terrible experience.
Description of Work: Painting. Installation of modular shelving units. The painting was extensive, high foyer, high great room, & a half bath. Also locks were switched out & internet cables run inside the home.

+ -1 moreTHE COMPANY BASICALLY PERFORMED THE SERVICES I REQUESTED. HOWEVER, IN THE PROCESS THEY IGNORED TWO REQUESTS, PRIOR TO WORK STARTING, TO PROVIDE REFERENCES. FOLLOWING THEIR WORK, I FOUND SEVERAL WALLS AND CEILINGS DAMAGED AND A CRUSHED WINDOW SILL. I WAS PROMISED REPAIR WORK TO FIX THE CRUSHED WINDOW SILL. SUBSEQUENT CALLS THAT I MADE TO SCHEDULE REPAIRS WERE TAKEN AND AGREED AND IGNORED THEREAFTER. MY FINAL CALL WAS TO ACCEPT A $50 REFUND IN EXCHANGE FOR THE DAMAGE. MICHELLE PERSONALLY AGREED AND I NEVER HEARD FROM HER AGAIN NOR HAVE I RECEIVED ANY CHECK OR FOLLOW-UP. I HAVE SINCE CONTACTED THE COMPANY THAT REFERRED ME TO SDR AND CAUTIONED THEM FROM REFERRING BUSINESS TO SDR IN THE FUTURE. SDR CLEANING SERVICES IS ALSO KNOWN AS SDR SERVICES AND MICHELLE, INC. ALL OF WHICH OPERATE UNDER THE NUMBER: 704-892-4120 AND ARE STATIONED OUT OF CORNELIUS, NC.
Description of Work: I CONTRACTED WITH SDR TO HAVE MY REFRIGERATOR AND STOVE MOVED AND REPLACED DURING THE PERIOD I WAS HAVING MY HARDWOODS REFINISHED. I ALSO CONTRACTED WITH SDR TO PERFORM CLEANING OF THE AFFECTED ROOM FOLLOWING THE REFINISHING (CLEANING UP DUST FROM SANDING, ETC).
