Seem like once they got here the price either they want to increase the price because they weren't expecting they have to do more in other words I don't know if this makes sense [03:32] chandelier it's got a lot of things you hang the crystal that came down and when they open up the box and they saw that it was they said well it's gonna be another ninety bucks to do that, They installed the fan, they took the fan from the family room and installed it upstairs at our request but we didn't realize that it would be hung so low and they went up and hung it and didn't ask us any questions and when it got up there it was like really low.

Contractor was supposed to install ceiling fans in three rooms. After several times rescheduling we finally got them out. Told me that the rooms upstairs wouldn't have cuts in drywall This turned out not to be the case. Now i have an additional cost to take care of. After a miscommunication Marc was was unnecessarily very rude and hostile.

They are horrendous. We bought the jacks themselves and they charged us $200 to do it and they looked like crap. They are nowhere close to straight which was a requirement for doing it. They told us they didn't have the stuff so we got online and ordered it. They had poor customer service.

I've used MI Electric for a couple of years now. They wired my outdoor kitchen and have installed various odds and ends for me.

We have used MI Electric in the past and will continue to if future needs arise. They are professional, punctual, and knowledgeable, all while being reasonably priced.

I am comfortable with minor wiring projects (hanging a ceiling fan, installing a new light fixture in an existing spot), but new wiring is not something I'm willing to do. When I removed my old OTR, I realized that the job was beyond me. I'd used MI in the past, called them up, and got a team out to the house within a few days. They were in and out quickly, and did the work well. I will absolutely use them again. Thanks!

M/I Electric did a great job and were the most reasonably priced. They quoted over $100 less than four other companies. Everything was very well done and no mess was left behind. They even looked at a bathroom switch we had been having trouble and fixed that issue without adding other charges. I would highly recommend them.

They called the day before our appointment to reschedule to avoid the inconvenience of a possible delay, due to a job they would be on across town just before ours. On the day of the appointment Gus called ahead to let me know he was on his way about 45 minutes out. Gus traced the problem, and corrected it in a short time. I appreciated their professionalism, and they extended a senior discount which was very much appreciated. Based on this experience I would definitely call them first for any future electrical issues, and recommend them to friends.

Fantastic coordination with the owner Marc - he was prompt in providing an estimate. Over and above expections in his ability to adjust the schedule for my needs. The crew was on time, courteous, highly skilled and they cleaned the job site after the work was complete. When the bill came up it was at the agreed price. I had other estimates and MI Electric was the best price, value and service. Would hire these folks again for any sized project!!

Good experience!! Very nice to work with. Mark showed up on time, put on shoe covers prior to walking on my floors!!Reasonably priced!! I had a problem with the Dimmer Switch several weeks later and Mark came right out and replaced it. No Hassels. I will use him again in the future and highly recommend him!!

Set up appointment through the owner. It was a small job and he fit us in as soon as he could. He assigned an electrician who arrived promptly and did the work efficiently. He was in and out in 15 minutes.

Excellent job. Setting up the appointment was easy - excellent and prompt communication. Electricians were efficient, friendly, and knowledgable. This will be our go-to electric service company.

The person that came out and quoted the job was punctual and professional. However when the work was performed, I could not be there due to work schedule and my wife was there. He told her he could not run the wire for the fan through the ceiling as discussed, cut a hole in my drywall in the house, and ran ugly exposed grey conduit on our outside ceiling. We live in a condo complex and somehow all our neighbors seem to have been able to get their exterior fans installed without exposed wiring. Now I have a hole in my wall, have to hire another contractor to repair that, a ceiling to paint, and an ugly install. I belive they took advantage of the fact my wife was there and not me.

MI Electric's team was on time and very professional. They exceeded our expectations. The crew was knowledgeable and thorough.

Charged me just a customer call fee. Received a quick appointment (within the next business day). Were very professional, and did a great job in a timely manner. Excellent overall!

Update: Marc gave me a call shortly after this review was posted and apologized profusely. He indicated that due to the urgency he sent a subcontractor that has turned out not to be a good guy. Marc committed to refunding my payment. Having an issue is one thing, taking responsibility and fixing it is everything. Thanks Marc. This is a mixed review. I was selling a house and had to have a grommet (little plastic insulator) installed in my electrical panel. Buyer was insistent that the grommet be popped in by a licensed electrician. I had to get this done and quickly. Day after the request MI responded drove thru heavy traffic, got there late but got there. I had the panel open, handed the gent my hardware store grommet grommet, he popped it in and wrote me a note while I closed the panel, took my $125 and was gone. All of that was great except that MI did the work three years ago and failed to install the grommet that got me in this jam in the first place. Hard to feel good about that.

I didn't have any problems. They're local guys. They came when they said they're gonna be there.

We were very pleased with the installation of our ceiling fans. Two of the fans were not your normal type ceiling fans. These were complicated designer fans with special light assemblies that created a light design on the ceiling as well as providing concentrated light to key parts of the room. Gus was very knowledgeable and proficient. He had our ceiling fans installed and working in no time. His friendly demeanor made it seem like he was an old friend stopping by to help out with our project. We have more projects in the near future and we will definitely call MI Electric.

I was extremely pleased with MI Electric. They returned my call for service promptly and got me scheduled quickly. Marc came on time and was professional and knowledgable. I highly recommend this company. I will definitely use them whenever I need an electrician.

I think it went fine. They did everything we asked and they seemed to do a pretty good job of it.

I am very pleased with the service I received and would highly recommend this company! Scott was great and explained all as he worked....and fast! I understand now why they are so busy. Also, thanks for not making this rather un-handy homeowner feel silly for the little things! Scott also shared good information and had a good idea for an additional solution in my kitchen lighting. I will absolutely use MI for some additional projects!
