It was a nightmare. Kelly never managed to create a design that we loved. She seemed to focused on only using specific vendors & wanted us to compromise. Many mistakes were made (sinks did not fit in the vanities, not enough carpet was ordered to make a stair runner, the furniture did not fit in our guest rm) Kelly never took responsibility for any of her mistakes! Not only is there no accountability, you will be grossly over charged!!

I met with Kelly for help with our master bedroom design a few years back. We gave her a $2500 deposit to start the job but I realized very early on that working with a designer wasn't for me, or specifically her. I was hoping for a collaborative experience but instead found Kelly to have strong ideas of what SHE wanted rather than what I wanted. We didn't get very far in the process (she presented a few ideas) when I decided to cancel our contract. I contacted her about getting our retainer fee back & I've never been so stunned to receive a check for $30 in the mail. She claimed that she had worked on on our project for many hrs. & therefore most of our retainer was used. There is NO way she worked on our project for that long...what we saw would have taken her 15 min. to put together. We felt we were robbed of our money & couldn't do a thing about it. My husband & I drove past her office the other day & are still sick to this day about our experience with Kelly Cruz Interiors!
