+ -1 moreBobby worked from my design and added designed ideas that really improved the project time and quality. I thought I knew how to do this stuff, (a deck couldn't be that difficult right?), but found out maybe I didn't know the right way. He saved me a ton of money on future problems. He started earlier than he projected when we agreed to let him start knowing he may have to work a couple half days to finish other jobs. From start to finish it was a five day project. Two half days and two full days and one day waiting on concrete to cure. We are very happy and enjoyed him being around. He has a great sense of humor and was a perfect gentleman to my wife. Monday I had nothing, Saturday we were setting on our beautiful deck reading the morning paper and drinking coffee!! We are very happy.
Description of Work: We wanted to add a deck to the rear of our house and wanted it done to enjoy this summer. Originally, I was going to do this myself, as many friends said they could come by and help, well until I started mentioning I wanted to start the project soon. It now was obvious this thing was going to not get done or even started this year! We decided to find a professional. Everyone we called took at least a week to even give an estimate and then another several days to get back with us on a price, then said it could take up to two weeks and it would be at least 30 days before the project could start. Bobby Styles, "The Home Specialist Company" (From Google Search) came by the next day for an estimate and he said him and his crew could probably do this in 3 to 4-days and he could probably schedule something in, in the next two weeks. Note: He wasn't the cheapest, but by far wasn't the highest estimate either. We had done our homework and knew this was a fair estimate.
