GHC Professional Roofing

Went just swimmingly! Mr. Church was very thorough, took multiple photos, was very informative and easy to communicate with. Made sense of the situation when some others did not.. in retrospect. Hope I don't have another leak any time soon but if I do, I know who to call! Thank you GHC.

GHC tried twice to fix a leak in my roof due to flashing issues. They also said black mold was able to be fixed by spraying it with Kilz. After filing an insurance claim it was discovered that the roof had been leaking for some time after. They missed a hole in a shingle the size of a quarter. The roof needed decking repair and proper ice and water shields which they didn't do. I also had more black mold and structural damage. This resulted in a new roof, black mold remediation, ceiling repair and new paint on the walls. I accomplished this all through another company thankfully. I do not recommend GHC. Keep in mind they are a roofing company.

I called GHC to look at a leak that had been created and supposedly fixed by a previous contractor. Jeff came in and I showed him the leak from the interior and told him the story. He quoted me a price to fix an improperly installed boot for a vent. The previous contractor installed boots incorrectly and caused a leak. The job was more involved when Jeff took a deeper look and it took longer than we both thought. Preparing myself I expected it would be more than what he quoted. He was extremely professional and kept his price to what he quoted. It has not rained since the repair but from what he explained to me, including showing me photographs, it looks very good. Kudos to GHC for doing the right thing and gaining a solid customer for future roof problems.

New roof went well and on schedule. They had to come back several times due to moisture running down walls and on ceiling. They said my warranty did not cover moisture only rain coming into the house. After the storm the other night water is running down hallway walls, which it has never done before. The company has told me not to contact them any more and if I do they will charge me $125 per email. I have turned them over to WCNC .

The major complaint that I had was he came out and took a brunch of pictures and we thought we tried to run it through my insurance and it didn't and certainly wasn't his fault he did what he was suppose to put a price on that but anyway the day that they came out to do the roofing he was no where to be seen and it was a sub contractor team they did the roofing and I ask if Mr. Church was going to be there and he didn't even know who Mr. Church was but that didn't thrill me but haven't said that the team of man who was a Es panic did a really good job I have no complaint with the work that they did they put a roofing on a gazebo so it was over water and there was a boat house one of the guys went into the boat house and urinated and that didn't thrill me.

We had a leak somewhere around the chimney. He did a great job fixing the issue, and it ended up being less than originally quoted.

A great company to work with -- very customer service oriented. In checking the possible leaking, Jeff noted that the roof appeared to be in good shape and did not need any repair work. We so appreciated Jeff's/GHC's honesty. In addition to checking the area we called about, Jeff did an overall roof inspection. In addition, he blew all of the pine needles off of the roof, which we greatly appreciated. And to our pleasant surprise, Jeff indicated that there was no charge. A really first-class company and they will be our go-to for any roofing issues.

Owner promptly came out to look at the roof and provided a detailed estimate for repair of reinforced EPDM roof. The estimate provided a complete list of materials to be used, as an entire roll of material was to be used for this job. No work was completed. The details: This provider previously repaired roof in July, 2014 and had come a second time when one spot still leaked. In the past the receptionist had been very good at communicating times and schedule and I had complimented the owner about this. The afternoon prior to the work being done, I spoke with the receptionist who said they would let me know prior to the time the work would be done, either that day or in the morning. I was surprised at 8:30 the next morning to have a voicemail from the receptionist stating that the provider was on-site and would be doing the work. There was no one there when I arrived 45 minutes later and I called and was told the provider was out purchasing materials, I asked why they didn't already have the materials since it was detailed in the estimate and also asked that I be provided with the receipts since this was a time and materials estimate. I was told they would NOT provide the materials receipt. I was also told that the provider could not be reached during 2 separate calls. I called again after about 2 hours of waiting and a different person answered the phone and she could not stop laughing while I explained who I was and why I was calling. She stated that the provider still had not returned their call and I told her I had lost all confidence in them and wanted to cancel the project. With no response she hung up. I expected to hear back from the owner with at least an apology if not an explanation. This did not happen.

Jeff and his people did an amazing job on my roof. I would highly recommend GHC Roofing to anyone looking for an experienced roofing company. I was amazed how quickly they came, removed my old roof, and put on the new one. They were also very attentive with making sure there wasn't a mess left behind (No Nails left). GHC hand nailed my roof which is better than using an air nailer.

There has been no leak since.

I got a roofer from Angie’s List and he was real helpful. He is a really good guy. It went well. I don’t have any complaints and I think he did a great job. He was fast. Everything was excellent. I was totally pleased.

It?s nice when a company exceeds expectations especially when they?re installing a new roof on your house. GHC Professional Roofing replaced my hail damage roof this week and it looks great. Anybody can install shingles, but this company pays attention the all the details that ensure your roof is going to protect your most valuable asset. From the valleys to the ridge vent they use superior products and workmanship that insures your house will be protected from the top, in all kinds of weather. They strive for 100% satisfaction; I?m a 110% satisfied. Did I mention they were the lowest bidder out of 4 roofing companies; now that?s real value. Call them today if you need a roof work done, you will be glad you did.

Roofer repaired the leak. Has not lealed since. Very professional and on time.

Excellent from start to finish. Jeff came on a Saturday morning and did a thorough analysis of room, sketched the plan on site and suggested a solution for our existing EPDM that saved us a few thousand dollars and led to a better result. We had over five quotes and Jeff was the only one to suggest this. Jeff followed up on Monday with a additional discount for the size of the roof and we scheduled him that day. His crew was out within a couple weeks and started. His crew worked harder than any construction crew I have seen, and I have seen a lot. Sun up to sun down without breaking - they hardly even talked to each other. They finished by approximately 35 square roof in two days, which included tear of and application. It looks great and I expect it will for many years. Jeff is professional, creative and fair. His crew is deserving of awards for their hard work; it was so refreshing to see people work that hard. A+ I likely will not need another roof but highly recommend them to you.

We had 3 leaks that were supposed to be repaired by another company that never scheduled the repair after several desperate calls after coming out and confirming what they were going to do and signing the contract for the repair. GHC was wonderful from the very 1st call!! Mindy in the office was very helpful after hearing how desperate we were to get our leaks repaired to keep from further damage inside our home. She called me back almost immediately and Jeff Church came out that afternoon and after he checked everything out, we set up a time very quickly to get the roof replaced. We also had a few minor siding repairs that were discussed. Cesar and the GHC crew came out to do the work and they were all very professional and accommodating!! Cesar was so nice from the moment they arrived and is one of the hardest workers I have ever seen. GHC is lucky to have him as an ambassador for their company!! He went over and above making sure the work was done correctly and in a timely manner. He was at our house until dark for 2 nights and did extra things that I asked without even thinking about it and he was glad to do it. Absolutely one of the best customer service companies we have ever dealt with. The work was exceptional, they matched the siding perfectly and made the top of our roof in the front of the house look much better that it did before!! They made some repairs to the siding that had separated and even replaced a piece of siding on one of the decks. Cesar even fixed a crazy installation on a gas line that had been installed on the outside of the house. Wonderful experience from beginning to end!!

He's very professional. I would use him, definitely. He's very knowledgeable and helpful. He was just over the top as far as doing a quote. He didn't just stand back and look. He actually measured buildings. He was up there doing it by himself. He's absolutely wonderful. I would recommend him to anyone. We will use him in the future if we have to have a section done. We're doing it for our study of how much it would cost per building for the roof. He's very detailed and absolutely wonderful. The report we got was real. He did a spreadsheet report in a jacket with so much information that it was just great. It was very reasonable. He's very professional and he went over and above what you would expect for an appraisal. He's very fair and honest.

It went fine. They are doing the work on Monday.

All aspects of the job went perfectly. Jeff Church helped us through the insurance process (the replacement was needed because of hail damage), gave us a fair price for the work, and his crew executed in a timely and fully professional manner. We couldn't have been happier. This company is a delight to work with - a rare phenomenon in today's world! Followup: 5 years after the roof was installed, we noticed some modest water damage in the ceiling of a 1st floor bedroom. Jeff came out, and indicated he'd send his crew to repair the area around the chimney. (There was a small gap in the flashing and one nail needed caulking.) They also installed a diverted to keep water from backing up around the chimney. And Jeff had one of his people repair the bedroom ceiling damage (to be done shortly). Cost? Zero. I was prepared to pay - after all, this was 5 years after installation - but Jeff said no, it was "covered under warranty" (GHC warranty, that is). How rare for folks to back up their work this well!

I couldn't have asked for better service and workmanship. I had previously (summer, 2013) had Jeff/GHC do a small repair job on the roof of another house and was pleased enough with the service and cost to call GHC again for an estimate on the roof replacement. I got a prompt response, and Jeff showed up at the appointed time to inspect the roof. He came in with the best estimate of 3 and also came to help out when the insurance adjuster inspected the damage. When I agreed to the contract, he had a crew there within 5 days, as agreed upon, and the work was completed in one day. The roof looks excellent--very professional quality of work. When I checked on the work the day after it was completed, there was no debris left behind; indeed, there were no visible signs that anyone had been there or anything had been done except for the new roof itself. I'm exceptionally pleased with my experience with GHC and will absolutely use them again when I need any additional roofing work done. I give GHC my highest recommendation.

I had posted a review previously because I wanted to tell you, that they are good people. This is my first experience of its type, so I did not know obviously, what to do. They did not charge me anything for the problem, because they honored the warranty from the previous owners time. I cannot say enough about them and they returned my calls automatically and it was kind of nice to see a company actually trying to help you out. I will recommend the company because their prices are fair, they return your calls promptly and when they say they are going to come they come, and it was a great experience.

I had a problem with a leak which would manifest itself during extended heavy rains. I initially purchased a Angies List $59 special for two hours of roof repairs from a different roofing company. The $59 coupon did not do much good as it turned into an hour of inspection, then once problem was identified the remaining hour I had would not cover the repair. Company provided me a quote and gave me a credit for the unused labor. The quote was a jacked up $650 then a $100 discount for a total of $550. Needless to say I solicited two additional quotes. I decided to call GHC Professional Roofing since they had many very good reviews. An appointment was setup and Jeff Church came out to my home on a Saturday. Jeff spent a good amount of time inspecting my roof. After roof inspection, Jeff worked up a line item quote on his PC and provided me with the printed estimate which detailed what steps would be taken and what materials were required for the job. None of the quotes from the other roofing companies provided this level of detail. Jeff also included additional leak prevention steps around the chimney. I was very pleased with the quote and advised Jeff I would like to utilize GHC for the repairs. I feel I was provided a great price in comparison to the other quotes, and also received a better repair with the addition with the water proofing membrane on the chimney and roof sheathing. Repair was scheduled and subsequently performed. I was very pleased with the overall process of doing business with GHC from start to finish. I highly recommend them and know who to call for future repairs.

Jeff answered his phone the day before Christmas and agreed to come out on the Friday after Christmas. He arrived on time, inspected the situation, and returned later that day with his crew to repair the leak. He was friendly, gave a fair price (I had no idea what a roof leak repair might cost!) and recommended others in his network for the drywall, painting and possible electrical repair that might be required.

The company owner came, explained the problem causing the leak in my roof, and offered me a very fair price. The work was completed within a few days, and I have had no problems since. I plan to have a rental house re-roofed soon, and I will definitely request an estimate from GHC and, all things being equal with the estimates, will give this company preference because of the responsiveness and quality of workmanship.

Jeff and crew completely re-roofed my hard coat stucco home which has synthetic stucco trim. I decided to add drip edge as none was on the house. This item required a change order at a reasonable cost. I was not happy with a couple of things upon job completion. Jeff addressed all issues and had them corrected immediately to my satisfaction. Additionally, I am extremely satisfied with how Jeff handled his interactions with me, a very picky customer. He listened. I have already received several complements from neighbors on my sparkling new roof, which Jeff helped me select. It has added dimension and interest to my house. A permit was pulled on the job; it was inspected and approved by the county. Do not hesitate to use this contractor.

They were good. The salesman has a very good product knowledge. The work that they performed was good. I would use them again in the future.
