Soft Wash Wizard

We heard about this company by means of an email from our neighborhood's HOA. We signed a contract for the cleaning of the roof on the back side of the house, as this is the only section that is stained. When we spoke he told us that it would be an all day job. Steve and his son came to our home on Tuesday morning, 8/24. It was overcast, humid and chance of rain was forecasted for that day. The job was finished before lunchtime. It was raining within an hour or so after he left. Later that day he came back and remarked 'The rain didn't help us, did it?'. Our roof looked worse than it did before. My husband called him the next day and told him we were dissatisfied. I followed up with an email. He agreed to come back and redo the job. He was to come back the following Monday. Within a couple of days, we noticed damage to our shrubs, trees, and our neighbor's grass.(brown, scorched leaves, dropping leaves, burned grass). We told him we did not want any additional cleaning. We are out $625.00, our roof does not look any better, and our trees and shrubs are damaged. We don't think he should have done this job on a rainy day. We think the chemicals were too strong and that the rain made the situation worse by washing the solution off the roof before it had a chance to dry. I can say that there is at least one person in my neighborhood who did not have a negative experience. Unfortunately, we did have a negative experience and we hold him responsible for it. I would not recommend this company for that reason.
