We recently purchased an above ground pool. When we filled and added chemicals, we discovered we had a ton of metals in our water. It caused a complete mess to the point where our pool looked completely Brown. We contacted Pampered Pools and Andy was extremely responsive. He immediately made arrangements to come out and take care of the problem even on a Saturday afternoon, and within hours of Andy taking care of the pool we had blue water. The next morning the pool was safe to use! We were 100% satisfied and would highly recommend anyone who needs their pool serviced to contact him. In fact, we were so satisfied, we have contracted Andy to perform monthly pool service.

We had a lot of pollen in our pool this past spring and it was a total disaster. Out of desperation we decided we needed to hire a pool company to get the pool in usable condition. It wasn't something I looked forward to. When we moved to Charlotte 10 years ago we used several pool companies but their charges were outrageous, their service was dismal and they were undependable. It got so bad that we finally decided to maintain the pool ourselves. So when we decided to hire someone to clean the pool we turned to Angie's list which is where we found Andy. Andy returned my call within hours and setup an appointment for two days later. He showed up on time, looked at the pool and gave me a quote of $250 which I gladly accepted. He went to work immediately. He spent a few hours cleaning the pool and checking the chemicals and I was more than pleased with the way it looked. But Andy wasn't through.. He returned the next day to see how it looked and to check the chemicals and told me he would be back on Monday to finish up. I was more than a little surprised that he came out 3 times especialy for the amount he was charging. We were so pleased with his work ethic and the condition of the pool we hired him to maintain the pool for us. He comes every other week and the pool looks great. Andy is professional, dependable, does excellent work and is a pleasure to work with. His prices are beyond reasonable considering the quality of his work and that the chemicals are included. I never thought we would hire another pool company again but Andy has made owning a pool a pleasure rather than a chore.

I have an above-ground pool and it is difficult to find companies which do them. I contacted a couple of Angie’s List companies. Pampered Pools responded that they did above-ground pools, so Andy came out to give me an estimate. Since the pool had not been used for a couple of years, I was very pleased with the estimate. As Andy worked on the pool to clean it up, I asked him about a noise that I did not remember hearing. He checked and said it was the bearings in the filter motor. I asked him to replace the motor and also to change out the sand as I had not had that done. I pool looks lovely and there is no noise. He did an excellent job and will be continuing to service it for me.

Pampered Pools is so far, since I've lived in the Charlotte area, the BEST service I've received. When I first moved here, I called a pool service to come and clean and open the pool. I used this service for 5 years with no complaints. The 6th year, I started calling in April to have them come and open the pool for the season. I got one promise after another that they would be there. They finally showd up in mid-August, when the season is almost done. They never showed up to close the pool for the season and as a result the pool was dirty and yucky. This year, on my way to work, I was behind a panel van that said Pampered Pools, and had the phone number on the van. I called right from my car and spoke with Mr Shook. We made arrangements to meet on a certain day and time. Mr Shook was promptly at my house, as agreed. He took one look at the pool and was dismayed that it looked so bad! Regardless, he went right to work to get the pool cleaned out and withing a couple of days, had the pool looking more sparkling than ever! He comes back promptly, every two weeks to check the chemicals and remove the debris (leaves) that have happened in the pool. At the first meeting, I asked if I could depend on his returning every two weeks. He said that he would definintely, that he has a little girl that he would like to send to college one day, and if he would not be reliable, his family would suffer. I like his integrity.

I had been using a different company for my pool and maintenance for the past 5 years. Last year I started calling in April to set up an appointment for the annual pool opening. After many phone calllls and text messages, he finally got here in August, basically too late to enjoy the summer and the benefits of owning a pool. I happened to follow the Pampered Pools van one day and decided to call the number on the truck. I received a very timely response fro Steven Shook and we made an appointment for the pool to be opened. Steven (Andy) was there exactly when he said he would be and he was very thorough in telling me what he may have to do to clean the pool. He has done a wonderful job getting my pool ready for the summer (the pool was a mess, since the guy I had never came back to close it last year) and I am so looking forward to using the pool this summer. Pampered Pools prices are very reasonable. Steven is a pleasure to speak with and he follows up on everything he says he will do. My next door neighbor spoke with him one time when I wasn't home and he too, was impressed by Steven, his professionalism and his ability to transform my nasty water to clear pool water. I can't say enough nice about Pampered Pools. By the way, I joined Angie's List to specifically give Pampered Pools the rating they deserve. I've heard about Angie's List for years, but because of the fantastic service and professionalism I have received from Steven and Pampered Pools, is what encouraged me to join.
