Edwin and team did a great job in pruning and tree removal. The stump was ground out nicely. I will have them back again next time.

We originally bought the coupon to have our many large oaks trimmed. However, when they came out to discuss the work, and I mentioned that one of the largest oaks had been struck by lightening two years ago (it appeared healthy and healed) it was recommended that we should probably bring that tree down instead - our cars and wellhouse are directly beneath it. So, they came and cut that HUGE oak down. The team was AWESOME. They were obviously very experienced and professional, and worked fast and efficiently and had the whole tree on the ground in 9 hours (we did have to pay $150 for an extra hour to bring the last of the trunk down). This is dangerous work and I felt very comfortable with the crew that came, and felt like we got a great service for what we paid. Highly recommend. And in the end, the assessment of the tree was right on- once we cut into the trunk there was a rotting 3 inch hole filled with insects and very unhealthy. We couldn't tell it was at all unhealthy from the outside!

Nova Tree Care did an outstanding job trimming our tree branches. Nova arrived when they said they would, did the complete job, picked up and billed the agreed upon amount. I recommended them to my neighbor who immediately contracted with them upon seeing their work. We asked them not to use spikes on the tree trunks – no problem. They used ropes and a harness. They stand behind their work and ensure trimmed branches did not drop onto our fence or deck.

It took a while to get on the schedule but the work done was fine, used an Angie's List offer, great value.

could not get a return phone call, left countless messages, and never received a call back. Angies list also got involved and they couldn't get a call back. Angies list refunded the amount, and was to sanction this guy for similar schemes.

The provider had agreed to remove a dying tree from my back yard. Just under 2 hours into the contracted 8 hour job, he realized that the tree could not be safely taken down without a crane--which he did not own nor was a crane within the parameters of the Angie's List deal. The provider and I then spent nearly an hour on the phone--most of the time on hold-- with Angie's List trying to come up with a fair solution. Only a fraction (almost one fourth) of the contracted time was worked but he didn't want to spend more time there since it was obvious that I was going to have to hire a bigger tree service company, one with a crane. The first several Angie's List representatives (from both the members' and service providers' divisions) indicated that they thought that there wouldn't be a problem in getting a refund but were unwilling to guarantee this. The service provider, Mr Edwin Ozuna, agreed to accept a payment for 2 hours of service if I could be assured of getting a refund from Angie's List. Apparently, even though the AL member and the AL service provider agreed that the contract could not be safely honored, we were told that since the job had been started, I could not get a full refund. Since he and I were willing to negotiate a sum for the work that was completed, it seemed reasonable to proceed in this fashion; however, Angie's List will only partially refund a job which has been started. Now that I know how inflexible your rules are, I think that I've purchased my last Angie's List special deal. Nevertheless, I am due a refund for 6/8ths of the $1299.00 which was billed to my credit card.

Nova did a fantastic job. They came by to do a walk through and and I explained everything I needed. There was one especially annoying tree that was bent over the fence and hanging into my neighbor's yard. After the walk through I had changed my mind a couple of trees, so I marked the ones I wanted taken care of. It was no problem. The guys came out did an excellent job of removing the trees and cleaning up the debris. Would definitely recommend Nova for any tree work!

Well, it's hard to say, the manager/sales guy stopped by and scheduled the work. I've heard nothing from them and they won't respond now. I need a refund. They said they could do the work, but never showed up, didn't call to cancel, after I'd made arrangements to work from home and have my dog in a boarding kennel. Just absolutely terrible. Avoid these guys like the plague if you can.

The professionals at Nova did an excellent job bringing the trees down safely with minimal impact on surrounding plants and the yard. There were no issues with the fence or powerline. They were efficient and friendly. They did what they promised to do within their estimate. The communication was a little difficult as they are extremely busy and the owner works at the site along with his employees. I was persistent and it paid off with a great job at a reasonable price. I will use them again.

It went fairly well. A couple of fences were damaged. We could have taken them all the way down if they would have told us it would have been an issue. There was a communication breakdown, as my husband had asked that they clear the fence lines of logs so we could put the fences back up and he was not here when the work was done. They finished early and left and there was many large logs lying across the fence lines. We had to work well into the night to cut them up and move then because we have animals and the fences needed to be back up ASAP. I would use them again, but would make sure it was understood what we expected to be done.
