Service up front was good, response was great, but if your work doesn't last or it comes out that you didn't fully perform the duties that was required and you don't take ownership, you are no good as a service business.
Description of Work: I moved into my house 6 years ago. My ac was installed by a company that went out of business due to poor quality workmanship. Last year, I called the company that installed my system, who had been sold and the company that bought them was not honoring their warranties, so I turned to my local Concord Heating and Air. When the tech come out, he was friendly, nice, found a leak in my system and put a couple pounds of freon in it and said "you won't have this problem next year", guess what, I have that problem again this year. So today, I speak with Ronnie and Eric both, Ronnie tells me they can't warranty the call, it might be a different leak this is going to be a completely seperate call. I am in the service business, if I were to tell my customer that they won't have a problem again in a year, and I performed the diagnostics on the system, I think I would make sure that I had checked anything that could make that statement incorrect. On top of that, Eric the technician calls me to come out, I ask how much to put freon in my system, to put a couple pounds in is going to cost me $250.00, so I asked why would I pay you guys to come do that when you won't warranty your work, or didn't do an efficient job the first time? I told him that I would rather look for references on a company that would fix my issues correctly and warranty their repairs, he told me good luck and hung up the phone on me, all why I was trying to explain to him that I understood that it wasn't necessarily his issue but that this was lack of ownership and customer service. I called back to the office to ask to speak with the Operations Manager, but that's Ronnie, and since Ronnie was the one that told me they wouldn't provide the warranty, I asked to speak to the owner, oh that is Ronnie as well. So, that's all I need to know about Concord Heating and Air, that is how much they stand behind their service. We provide a one year warranty on workmanship in my company in the industry I am in. If a diagnostic check was performed, if you found one leak, wouldn't you make sure there were no others? Customer Service - Understanding the customers issues, knowing how to provide them a solution and providing it fully, and ownership of work to make sure that the customer is satisfied.
