Cliff was amazing! I would hire him again and highly recommend him and his guys to anyone without hesitation. On-time always, quality craftsmanship, very efficient and cleaned up after work was finished. I will call Central Construction in the future before anyone else. JOB WELL DONE CLIFF AND EMPLOYEES!!!

Cliff and George have done quality work for me several times over the past 8 months. I give his card and number to anyone who needs anything done. They have always been on time and professional. I would recommend this company to anyone looking for great price and great work.

Was on your list for our area but company said they would not even go out because it was a little too far

Central construction did an excellent job. We are very satisfied. In fact while they were doing this job for us they were also able to fix a terrible leak that occurred in one of our bathrooms, put up shelves in our laundry room and one of the bedrooms, replace two toilet seats and mount our mailbox. We didn't need to call someone else and were happy that they were able to do all that was required. Their price was very reasonable and fare.

Fantastic, they not only was able to come out same day they quote a very fair price for all the work and completed it all in a timely manner. Cleaned up 100% and was excellent in explaining everything and showing the final work. They also did a small electric repair that wasnt listed and didnt charge me. I couldnt be happier with Central Construction they know how to anything and worked quickly and professionally. Thank you Cliff and George! I'll use them again.

I have hired Cliff and George many times and I have always been very satisfied with their work. Over the last few years, we have had thousands of dollars of work done by them. This time they merely installed my new kitchen appliances. They did this in a very timely manner and again, completely satisfied with work and pricing

I am very happy with the job done. They were timely and thorough, and did an excellent job. Unfortunately, through no fault of anyone in particular, there were problems with our installation from day one. What could go wrong, did. Electrical plugs stopped working, as did our microwave! But they handled it. They came back every day until everything was fixed and thoroughly cleaned. I am giving them a B for professionalism only because one of the men called my son a monkey on the last day. While I doubt anything was meant by this-he is a spirited little boy-I might advise not to say that about anyone (especially if they’re a person of color) on a job. I otherwise have nothing but the most positive things to say about Central Construction.

He came out to write me a quote. He said he would get back with me and I never heard from him again.

These guys were very responsive and got it done when I needed them to in a tight timeframe. They were able to complete the work at a very reasonable price and made it easy by not needing me there the whole time so I didn't have to take time off work.

Cliff showed up on time to give me an estimate and we agreed to proceed. They showed up 2 days early to do the demo, then showed up on time to do the work. They had to make a trip to get some additional items, but were basically prepared to do the project. The completed it quickly and did a good job. Cliff and George were very professional and polite. I usually have done everything myself and this was the first time I have subbed out a minor project, I would not hesitate to use them again, and I am pretty particular!

Cliff and George have worked with us on several occasions. We found them through Angie's List and have been very happy with them and have used them multiple times. We are thinking of moving and told them we will have to take them with us. We are that satisfied with their work.

trim pieces did not match existing trim pieces. but temporarily acceptable since i plan to get trims replaced again when I get the house repainted sometime in the future. I was disappointed that they did not clean up their mess afterwards. i found several pieces of rotten wood & nails everywhere. Had to clean up myself.

Very pleasant. Completed the work satisfactorily although the new portion of the siding they replaced did not line up with the existing siding, so the work looks like a patch job and not professionally finished.

Work was done timely, and replace pieces painted.

Central Construction was great to work with. I found them through Angie's List from a painting add they had featuring an affordable package for all of painting fixin's (pressure washing, rot repair, etc.) for a home much larger than my own. I asked Cliff if they could provide me a quote for my small NoDa home (albeit with a lot of trim), and they delivered a good price that was more reflective of my home size. I was NOT searching for the lowest bid for the work - as I needed someone familiar with old homes and willing to work with me to address and correct problems I had already discovered. They were willing to work with me and listen to my requests from the outset. Professionally, I work as an architectural designer (I have my masters in architecture and am less than 6 months away from being a fully licensed architect). I have over 5 years experience in the industry in both residential and commercial construction and therefore know a bit about what to look for in a quality contractor. Unfortunately many contractors I seek for quotes have judged me outside of my professional experience because I am also a young, female, homeowner. Even if I have an informed opinion about how work should be completed, they don't listen to my suggestions and quote work I didn't ask for. I am very pleased to report that this was not the case in the slightest with Central Construction. They warned, informed, and discussed each problem with me as a fellow construction professional. I trusted their advice on how to address any problems and will absolutely hire them again. I travel often for work but they were able to work around my schedule. I felt comfortable enough to leave for a day and return to see progress on the house color and trim painting completed. While at my house, they were conversational and kind, but didn't linger in conversation to the penalty of productivity. The quality of their work was also very good. They hand painted my whole house, rather than spray-apply the paint. For an old home with old siding, the later technique would have made for many missed spots. I only found a few minor places missed in my review and they were quick to correct the missing spots. The only thing I would change would be a bit more attention to paint chip removal after the end of the project. That was an easy item to address myself though and would not have persuaded me from hiring them in the slightest.

It went well. They were done in a week, even working on a Sunday.

I have used Central Construction the last 8 or so years. On remodeling projects on my home, my sons condo rental and this last project on my daughter's home rental, putting it up for sale. It went under contract 1 week after the completion of this project. The only thing I find better than Cliff Schimpf company's work is Cliff's integrity. Project went very smooth. All work done to my satisfaction and I am very particular.

They painted the shed in the backyard, which took him about six hours.

Cliff came out the same day I called and gave me a quote. Other painters took a couple of days to come out and give their quotes. Cliff's prices were the best. He was very polite and respectful. They came on a day that fit my schedule and painted my exterior trim, my balcony, and gutters. On the inside they painted my kitchen, living room, 3 bedrooms and both bathrooms. I was very impressed with their skill. No need to tape the trim. They did it with just the brush with no mistakes. They were very accommodating and met my on the fly requests. They also moved furniture as needed and then put it back. I would definitely use them again for any of my painting or home improvement needs.

The process went well the contractor paid attention to detail and was very accommodating with my concerns.

Cliff and his crew did a great job! I always enjoy working with them. We have used them several times now, and Cliff works very hard to insure the job is done right and to follow up with any additional needs. I look forward to working with them again in the future!
